  3. Ensure you have the correct versions of C++ and .net framework since the installer nor the diagnostics tool check the version, only that it's installed. Try to download and install the following. If they're already installed, just quit the installer. http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=5555 https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=17718 Also ensure that you're running the game as an administrator. (Right Click, Run As Admin) I don't know why you have the patch files in your game directory. That doesn't install them. You need to actually click the "UpdateTitle.exe" file.
  4. Yes, a member of my clan has it on PC too, however it's a private mod so can't give it out to us.
  5. Nope, i haven't got the foggiest.
  6. You need to change the keys in the els.ini file.
  7. Yeah, I thought as much. As for the other screenshot, it looked to be just non-els.
  8. Does this mean that the ESS project was a shod just like the firefighter mod?
  9. Indicators is another name for blinkers or turn signals. This script allows you to use them.
  10. Please use the search feature on the site before posting. 1) Make sure your GTA directories are not readonly, especially the COMMON and DATA folders. 2) Also ensure you are running the installer as an administrator.
  11. worked fine for me, and many others.
  12. No problem, glad you found it useful.
  13. Have you looked into using something like xpadder? It's a key mapper for controllers that aren't supported by the game. For example, you can map a certain button to the enter/exit vehicle key, and another to turn the sirens on and off, and another for ELS. http://www.xpadder.com/
  14. No, not the handling. The vehicles.ide file located in common/data.
  15. That looks like some sort of kids toy. If you're looking for rotating lights, there are quite a few models out there. Just look for them.
  16. It's a problem with the vehicles.ide line. You need to edit that.
  17. Hmmm... The plantronics seem reasonably priced too.
  18. Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'm taking a look at them now.
  19. My current headset cost me around £30/$46 and has now lost sound in the right side as well as becoming really uncomfy when I wear it so I figured now would be a good time to buy a new one. I'm looking for something with a max price of £100/$155, not necessarily wireless though it'd be nice. It has to have a microphone and that's it really. The comfier the better. Any suggestions? Thanks -Tom
  20. Congrats! I know one of the members of the staff here is a father. I think it's Francis.
