  1. Make sure everyone has forwarded their ports, it'll boost the connection quality and reduce the chances of these errors. Ports: udp 3074 udp 88 tcp 3074
  2. Yes, SparkIV will do it too.
  3. You need to create the LOD's for the parts. Currently they only have one
  4. Please create a new thread for your issue.
  5. Remove pedcustomiser. It's encountering errors. What's policing?
  6. Do you have the latest patch?
  7. All game mods other than Free Mode disable any scripts automatically to stop cheating. If you're trying to use anything other than free mode then that'll be your problem.
  8. What mods do you have installed?
  9. 1) Make sure the "common" folder found in your GTA IV folder is not read only. 2) Ensure you are running the game as an administrator (Right Click, Run as Admin)
  10. Well, the first 15 seconds is like a slideshow, and you seem to have misspelt your URL at the end. And it's a little laggy. Once you fix those things though, it'd be great! For now though, 5/10. Needs some work.
  11. Yes, it's a known bug that will be fixed in the next version. Nothing to worry about, everyone receives it.
  12. This tutorial will show you how you can have multiple instances of GTA IV installed. This is useful if you are in a clan which uses car mods, but also want a copy which contains your own personal mods, you can the have another which is purely vanilla files which contains every file in case you need backups, since you can copy the file from the clean version, and move it to the modified one. Step 1: Navigate to your "Grand Theft Auto IV" folder The first thing you need to do is to locate your "Grand Theft Auto IV" folder. For those who don't know where this is, it's most common location is: C:Program FilesRockstar Games However this is sometimes different depending on where on where you bought your game, and if it is a digital, or steam copy. Your screen should now look something like this: Step 2: Copy your "Grand Theft Auto IV" folder Now, you need to right click on the "Grand Theft Auto IV folder, and select copy from the menu, As shown in the screenshot below: Step 3: Paste your folder in the same place as your "Grand Theft Auto IV" folder Now, you need to right click on the white space below the folder, and select "Paste" as seen in the photo below: Step 4: Rename the new folder Once the folder has been successfully copied, you need to rename it to something so that it is obvious which copy is which by right clicking the new folder and selecting "Rename" something such as "Multiplayer" is suitable. Step 5: Create a shortcut for the new installation (Optional) So that we can easily load our clean copy of GTA IV when we want to play online, we are going to create a shortcut on the desktop. To do this, open the newly renamed folder. For example mine would be the "Multiplayer folder" and locate the file called "LaunchGTAIV.exe" Now right click the file and select copy as shown above. Next, navigate back to the desktop. And then right click the desktop and select "Paste Shortcut" Once this is done, we can rename the shortcut to something else such as "IV Multiplayer" If you like, you can even change the icon in the properties of the shortcut. I hope this helped some of you guys, -Tom
  13. Yes, does it say "Duty Forced" at the bottom of the screen? If so, you're pressing the wrong key to start. You need to press the left ALT + P and you'll get a message at the top left of the screen telling you to visit a police station located on the map.
  14. Yes, you need to ensure the dependencies are installed. Download and install both of the following files: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=17718 http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=29
  15. You need to select GTA IV from the drop down list when exporting.
  16. Name the standard part of the rambar whatever you like, but name the wraparound section "extra_1" or another number.
  17. You can set the wraparound as an extra, so that it spawns randomly. Just a suggestion.
  18. Honestly, it's best to start off small by using the tutorial given. Modelling from scratch takes years to be able to do, especially when self taught, and it's not even done in zmodeler. The only reason I know how to model was because I did an engineering course so I have an advantage, however someone like you who I presume has no experience needs to start off learning the basics. Jumping into the deep end is a bad idea.
  19. Thanks, I'm thinking about making V2, in which case I'll definitely take that into consideration.
  20. Nothing like a good bit of shameless self advertising :P
  21. He mentioned in the video that it was to keep his FPS down.
