No open the ELS folder that you downloaded first and there should be some files. Drag them first to a location such as your desktop, out of the folder and then open your GTA/EFLC directory and then drag them in there. You may have to copy the files and paste one into each directory for them to work on both games but I'm not sure as I don't have EFLC.

What did the diagnostics tool say? Drag the diagnostics tool to the desktop then run the diagnostics tool as a admin just like you did with the game. When it has finished, click more information and copy and paste the text here.

You need ELS, download link is in my signature. Extract the files from the folder and place them into your GTA directory. Then press J in game to activate the lights.

Find the shortcut for the game. Right Click it There should either be "Run As Administrator" or "Run As..". If you can't see it look again. It will be there.

Mate you seriously need to stop double posting! VISTA/WINDOWS7 - Right click the icon, "Run as administrator". XP- Right Click, "Run As.." , now enter admin username and password.

Click My computer, Now Local Disk (C:) then Program Files, Now Rockstar Games, Then EFLC

They cannot be used unfortunately. You can mod the vehicles with similar models and use ELS though....

No, not unless you are going to install new cars, I'll help you with that later if you wish. give me a link to the product you bought so I can confirm you have the original GTA too. You cannot but EFLC on it's own, it comes with GTA 4. I don't know why you are mentioning Spark though, you are just going to confuse matters.

Yes but you should also have the standard GTA 4 as well, when you load the game up there will be two options Grand theft auto IV Episodes From Liberty City (With SubOptions)

Just do the first mission in the standard game, then save it. If you plan to play LCPDFR in EFLC then you need to do the first missions again and just save it.

Oh the traffic advisor bar. Are you using the default vehicles or a moded car?

Yes and no, If you create a match with people who also have LCPDFR then you can, but if the other person hasn't then it will just be you playing it. Also if you receive a callout they will not however they can follow you and still arrest them. You need to install it anyway, even if you don't plan on playing online. You can disable by placing a certain file in the GTA folder. I'll explain in more detail about that later if you want. Thanks for the +REP earlier by the way, It's appreciated.

Insert the first one and install. It will ask for disc 2 during the install, just open the cd drive and put in disc 2.
