  1. Actually we have a separate Police for every state, plus Bundespolizei (Federal Police), Bundeskriminalamt (FBI) and Bundestagspolizei (Parliament Police). The police of the states furthermore is broken down into other smaller entities, such as the Wasserschutzpolizei (Waterpolice), Verkehrspolizei (Traffic Police), Kriminalpolizei (Crime Investigation Police), Bereitschaftspolizei (Riot Police), Schutzpolizei (your regular everyday patrol) and in some states the Autobahnpolizei (Highway Patrol). And we don't only use two lightbars, we use several: Hella RTK-6 (or RTK-4/5 for older models) (with rotors, or as "SL" with strobes or as "LED" with LEDs) Hella RTK-7 (my personal favourite) (with different LED and Strobe configurations in duty) Pintsch-Bamag Zirkon (Popular in Baden-Württemberg - looks like a cheap RTK-7) or the older Pintsch-Bamag TOPas and finally the less popular (but not in any way worse) Hänsch DBS 2000 and the Hänsch DBS 4000 (which is probably the most advanced and customisable lightbar available, but also expensive as hell) Now I feel like I've done the german police justice. Still I might have forgotten some lightbars :P
  2. It's quite simple. In Germany there are two reasons: 1. When emergency lights were first introduced, all other colors were already used in traffic. Green, Red, White and Amber are all colors you find in regular traffic. They wanted something distinctive. 2. According to research, blue is the most intense color to the brain, the most noticeable. Which is good for emergencies. EDIT: But this year we've also started using red flashers in the front especially for the purpose of traffic stops (together with the Yelp signal - which is also a first in germany!).
  3. We know that it's annoying but at the moment this is simply not possible. You'll need to wait for model editing to be fully functional.
  4. Install the newest RageHook and ScriptHookV. Should work fine. You can get them here: ragepluginhook.net www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/
  5. There is no way. Trust me. That requires model editing.
  6. You can't. They're a colored white texture in x64a.rpf/textures/graphics.ytd
  7. Separate the executables. Anyone who hooks onto the MP executable get's banned. End of story.
  8. I've known the devs for almost four years now. They don't produce trash. If they promise to deliver, they deliver, and they deliver with excellence. Just give them time.
  9. Well delayed isn't cancelled, is it?
  10. I'm not. Although the update actually hit the performance of the game on my PC hard, I will not be downgrading. Most mods already work on this patch and LSPDFR will soon too. No reason for me to go through all the trouble.
  11. This isn't news. This statement is older than LSPDFR. However protecting GTA Online breaks Singleplayer mods too. R* just fails at implementing something that actually works against online cheaters and doesnt destroy SP modifcations.
  12. We'll as reasonable as it sounds consider the following: - Theres alot of people (including myself) who like to play online and not have two 60ish gigabyte copies of the game on their SSD. - If someone discovers LSPDFR at a later point and decides that he wants to play it, he's gonna have to downgrade. Which won't be easy at all and might put him off. - We won't benefit from additional cars, guns and other content added by R* later. (I haven't given up my Police DLC yet!)
  13. R* probably liked the skin and decided to include it. R* isn't as police-crazy as most people here :D
  14. I had this. For me it was caused by SkipIntro.asi. If you have this file, I recommend you remove it. If you don't, try uninstalling mods and see.

Adds a nicer corona to the game. Looks incredibly good with rotors and LEDs. I recommend you use http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7715-improved-spotlight-and-led-lighting-updated-no-starburst-version/ together with my mod. Just don't use his graphics.ytd. Includes Juiceproduction's 2k-Water mod. I recommend you install his water.ytd. The contents of his graphics.ytd are included within mine. All rights to those files go to him! https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/2k-water
  15. They try to make everything work like before.
  16. Depends on which firewall you use.
  17. I hate them. The back indicators shouldn't be glowing and they should turn off when you turn off the engine. I will never use those.
  18. Okay! Use Drunkpolice's mod and don't install the graphics.ytd. Just use the visualsettings.dat - then it'll look exactly like on my screen. I don't like these starburst flares either.
  19. Use Drunkpolice's mod and the Tir6. Looks awesome.
  20. https://www.gta5-mods.com/weapons/better-stun-gun
  21. Block the GTA V Launcher in your firewall.
  22. You're confusing LCPDFR with LSPDFR :)
  23. It's easier to do that via file edits (like Olanovs mod) than through scripts, so I recommend you try that first before holding your breath
