  1. Yeah I changed the code so it gets the time directly through the game rather than through RPH's methods. That seemed to fix it too because I don't really need the game's month, just the time. I'll update the mod very soon.
  2. This version of the mod is meant for 0.23. I'd suggest updating.
  3. @DLM3 Only in the IVDashCam view.
  4. @Jety2011 @baker1986 Updated. Have fun!
  5. Yep. I'm updating the plugin real soon so that the ini is a lot more customizable. It will allow you to select which weapons it will work for as well as for any ped and ped component you'd like.
  6. Were you able to solve your issue?
  7. @cp702 Sure. However, I did include support for Olanov's LSPD detectives in the mod because they're pretty popular - odd that it isn't working for you. @Shove I'll get on that. With the future inclusion of what @cp702 proposed above, you should be able to add any ped you'd like.
  8. Sure. I'll include it in the next update but it will likely only be on the regular layout.
  9. I'll look into it but I can't seem to replicate your issue. Try re-downloading the plugin and leave the .ini unedited (if you haven't before).
  10. I didn't originally because the intimidation animation just looks really weird without the holster there. Also, I don't want to make it work on any character model because I can see people getting annoyed of Michael (for example) doing the holster animation whenever they press caps lock. But if you really want it to work on the free roam ped, I guess I can include it in the next update. EDIT: I think I'm only going to make the animation work if the free roam ped has the cop belt equipped. Is that alright?
  11. Not as of yet since the park ranger does not have an empty holster model.
  12. Yes, just walk up to the car first and then enter remote view when you see the traffic stop menu. Though be aware, if you choose any option in the traffic stop menu, you will exit remote view.
  13. Glad to see you noticed the screenshot recreation! I agree dashcams are usually centered instead of on the left side of the hood. Unfortunately, the vehicle hood cam is just coded like that by Rockstar. There may be an alternative way to make it centered, though, which I'm looking into.
  14. No. It's supposed to simulate dashcams which are on the dashboard of a vehicle.

Dashcam V is a RageHook plugin that simulates emergency vehicle dashcams used in real life. Note: An unfortunate downside to the method of centering the camera is that you cannot freely rotate it. In terms of immersion, however, it makes sense because most dashcams do not rotate. In light of this, the dashcam no longer replaces the first person vehicle view, so you can use it whenever you desire. Features - Grayscale filter: looks like the department's on a tight budget - Two layouts: a regular dashcam layout and a remake of Sniper296's IVDashCam layout - Remote view: view your vehicle's dashcam while on foot by pressing Ctrl + E or the Left Thumbstick + Left Shoulder - Dynamic unit numbers - Configurable settings: use the .ini file to adjust the following... - Unit number/name - Department name/colour/logo - Imperial/metric - Date format - Layout style - Remote view controls (both gamepad and keyboard) - Grayscale filter Installation 1. Download & install the latest RagePluginHook from http://ragepluginhook.net/Downloads.aspx if you haven't already. 2. Pick a folder. If you like the vanilla agencies, pick lore-friendly. Otherwise, pick real agencies. 3. Drag & drop "DashcamV.dll" and "DashcamV.ini" into the Plugins folder of your GTA V directory. 4. Using OpenIV, place the logos.ytd in update\update.rpf\x64\textures\script_txds.rpf (use your mods folder if you have it). Find and open the file "startup.rphs". Once you open the file, start a new line and put the following... LoadPlugin "DashcamV.dll" This will make the modification automatically load when you start the game. If you do not want the modification to automatically load, launch the game and press F4. Once you see a panel, put in what you see above. Known Bugs - When entering a vehicle that you left on dashcam view, your view will reset
  15. I believe only a few people know how to import ped models right now. Also, I'm not much of a modeler anyway.
  16. Seems kind of comical to do the hand animation on an empty holster though.
  17. Unfortunately not. The prison guard doesn't have an empty holster variant. Also, I don't believe a thigh holster animation exists in the game.
  18. Yeah apologies for that. That only seems to occur when the character switches weapons while aiming. I've tried many things to circumvent it but I'm unfortunately at a loss. Alright, good to know. I'll use .rar's in the future.
  19. Huh, that's very odd. Wasn't happening before.

  21. Are you sure? I checked out s_m_m_armoured_01 and accs_000_u is the gun model that's seperate from the belt/holster model but that isn't included in the variations. s_m_m_armoured_02 seems to have the gun model attached to the belt/holster model which I certainly can't do anything about (yet).
  22. Unfortunately, no. The FIB agents don't have a variation with a gun in their holster so I can't really do anything about it.
