Sgt.Person reacted to Original Light in most annoying Add on for a game!!I can play 3 hours straight without a bug or crash, probably longer (I would get headaches if I played any longer without long breaks).
You're not doing something right. If you need support, we could help you fix it and get your game running smoothly. I suggest you give it a chance. It wouldn't take long.
This problem is on your end, not ours. LCPDFR, at its best, should run for long periods of time, with little to no crashes and in-game errors. It all depends on your PC and other factors (such as other modifications installed).
This is an insult to both the community and the hardworking developers who spend part of their lives and free time making this modification with minimal resources.
LCPDFR RC2 is far from perfect, but new releases are being developed with improved stability and features. This topic goes into it a bit more: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
If you are willing to give this modification a second chance, which you should, I suggest downloading the G17 Media Diagnostics tool, which can be found here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/cops/forum/index.php/files/file/2-g17-media-iv-diagnostics-tool-043/
Then create a topic in the LCPDFR Support Requests section: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forum/20-support-requests/

Sgt.Person reacted to TmBB101 in most annoying Add on for a game!!Ok... I try to be helpful & "nice" when on the forums BUT when you discriminate a amazing mod that made several hundreds of people get GTAIV which help pays for GTAV (which may not come out on PC). Okay if you have a problem with the mod simply remove it and dont come acting like a ass*ole on the forums where people who are looking at the mod will be discouraged to download it. I know you installed it wrong because this is post looks like a 10 year old posted it with all the grammar mistakes. Please stay off lcpdfr.com if you just gonna be rude to the creators & players of the mod. Also look at all the youtubers who recorded with LCPDFR with very few crashes you need to play it for your computer to get used to it because my computer at first crashed every 20 minutes but now it barely crashes.
PS.Our community is huge and you are having a bad start getting extremely disliked

Sgt.Person reacted to DJSharke in most annoying Add on for a game!!I'd be amazed if you could install OpenIV without finding a way for it to make your computer blue-screen.
Don't like the mod, don't use it, but don't discourage other members not to install, just because you lack the knowledge to properly install a modification.
Have a fantastic evening.

Sgt.Person reacted to drdetroit in most annoying Add on for a game!!This guy for real?
You can't install it and get it working because you don't know what you're doing means it's a bad mod!? You're just did a bad install and are clueless to ask for assistance.
Too bad too, because this is the greatest mod for GTAIV of all time if you ask me.
Also, maybe if you learned to use paragraphs, it may help. What's that word soup you got going anyhow?

Sgt.Person reacted to Sonny236 in most annoying Add on for a game!!First of all it's not a "Add on" it's a mod.
Second, We're sorry that it can't be a 100000% perfect script, We'd like to see you try and make it better, Gta 4 is unstable in some ways and it's not easy to code a mod perfect. For one you probably installed it wrong, or just don't understand anything about it.
Sorry that you're a newbie who knows jack shit about modding and the hard work that this modding community has put into it.
Go play some other, Shittier mod like Pursuit mod but don't come in here and start crying about how buggy it is or that you can't understand it.
Wrong section too.....I don't think there is even a section for this.

By that I mean that they cannot remove all the guns from the citizens hands.
Starting to make the gun laws stricter so that almost none can buy one will not help.
Criminals will always be able to get a hold of a firearm.
The only people who will suffer is the law-abiding citizens.

Sgt.Person reacted to Custo in Mafia IIIProbably my favorite aspect of Mafia 2 was the police. They actually pulled you over for speeding, just wished they would arrest you or others instead of taking bribes. Oh well, gotta love that Smith Custom 200.
-
Sgt.Person reacted to Will in Mafia IIII like the way the police were in Mafia II. It was realistic, which is what the game was trying to accomplish. If you go 70 MPH through the city streets, cops are going to do something about it. You can actually pull over and just take the speeding ticket, also. If you're being chased by the cops, it wouldn't be easy to lose them in real life which is why it's so hard in the game (I actually don't remember ever being in a chase where I couldn't lose them - maybe because I always drive and act like I would in real life unless I'm in a mission). Some people don't like the realism and want something more like GTA in a game like that, but that isn't what the developers wanted to do with it.

Sgt.Person reacted to Original Light in Mafia IIIMafia II was one of my favorite games, next to Red Dead Redemption and the Grand Theft Auto series. Has anyone heard anything regarding the next installment in the series?
Rumors and speculation are welcome. I've personally heard that it'll be set in the late 1960's or early 1970's. Considering that the original Mafia was set in the 1920's/1930's, while Mafia II was set in the 1940's and
1950's, a 10 to 20 year gap, leading me to believe Mafia III will also follow a similar time pattern. If I had to guess, the beginning would be set in the 60's, and the mid-end would be set in the 70's.
For those of you who have never played Mafia II, it's like GTA in the 1950's, but it's a bit more strict. The add-on stories allowed much more freedom, after fans voiced their feedback. It's strict in how it tells you to start
the next mission, constantly nagging you and setting your GPS for you. But you can still drive around and do whatever you want.

Sgt.Person reacted to unr3al in Mafia IIIFrom what a lot of fans seem to think...
*SPOILER*
When the higher-ups in the mob put your character into the car at the end of the game and take you away, leaving your friend to be killed, the speculation is that you'll remain the same character in Mafia III, and I wouldn't imagine the time period would extend much further into the future (maybe the late 60's) since your character would get too old to see "action" like he did in his younger days. Hopefully they'll build a free roam mode into the core game, possibly multiplayer, and although I doubt they would, I'd like to see the police not shoot at you for going over the speed limit. I'd also like to not have to spend an hour losing them in a chase. It shouldn't be as tough as it is. Other than that though, great game. And it touches on WWII in the beginning, which I like.

Sgt.Person reacted to alexks101 in Anyone know what this is/does?This file can be an infected one if it uses too much CPU.
Macromedia is the pre-Adobe era of Flash player, now Flash player shouldn't be named Macromedia, maybe a lure, so turn off internet and do a scan with some tools like your antivirus + MalwareBytes etc...

Sgt.Person reacted to JSDGraphics in GTA V: NEW Trailers Video and DiscussionFrom what I've seen R* has several look a like cop cars
Bravado buffalo - Charger
SWAT SUV - Tahoe/Suburban or a Ford Expedition
Vapid Cruiser - Crown Victoria (Looks more like a Vic now than in GTA IV)
Vapid Patrol/Cruiser - Ford Taurus Interceptor
Bike - Typical HWP Motorcycle
and there could be more that I've missed, this is just what I've seen and I'm quite impressed :D :D

Sgt.Person reacted to cp702 in Gay MarriageOK, that last bit is just wrong. Karyotypes aren't a matter of debate. There are literally humans with those arrangements of chromosomes. Yeah, X and Y aren't genes. They're chromosomes. Turns out, we actually know quite a lot about chromosomes. And each of those karyotypes has been observer in real patients. Before you pull out biology, 1) explain why it's relevant (I *did* read the thread, and still don't see why genetics determining physical sex somehow proves that sexual orientation is a choice), and 2) actually learn the biology.
