Thank you, everyone, for helping us reach the amazing milestone of 200,000 downloads for EUP Backup Configurations! This project started as an idea to create EUP backup uniforms for Ultimate Backup/LSPDFR and has since expanded to include all uniforms used by EUP and its addons. This mod now includes the same uniforms in the default backup menu, enabling developers to use EUP-uniformed officers for their callouts and providing a wider selection for the station duty locker. It’s awesome to look back and see how diverse and alive LSPDFR has become thanks to this mod and all of your suggestions during its development. I also want to thank you, the LSPDFR community, for your unwavering support, suggestions, and feedback, which have greatly helped me improve this mod. I took a break from updating this mod for a while because I struggled to come up with new ideas; the mod has grown so much that most ideas I think of have already been implemented. I plan to rebuild my GTA 5 LSPDFR setup someday since my current copy is running a bit sluggishly and needs optimization. Also, I need to clean out my mods folder, as there are too many mods I’ve downloaded over the past eight years. Removing unnecessary mods could help LSPDFR run more smoothly, but I rarely have time to organize my mods. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions for EUP Backup Configurations, please let me know. Thank you all so much for your support!

I'm going to give these calls a whirl the next time I play LSPDFR. I never thought about the police's perspective on the story, as this callout pack brings to you. Looking forward to playing this. It certainly feels like it gives the game life in a sense. Downloaded instantly. If you're accepting ideas to expand this callout pack in the future, I'd love some common calls you'd see on patrol, like suspicious persons, and so on. Like the mission 'scouting the port' would be a fun one. That way, we get to do some detective work, if you will. Thank you!

There's a config folder with patrol vests and antennas already, so you could likely change them out in OpenIV with the ones from the mods folder.

I only set up emergency vehicles that you would see in GTA 5 story mode to be used with this backup config. I don't include GTA Online police vehicles as they tend to have issues with liveries spawning with Ultimate Backup, as they use modkits instead of the traditional liveries. Also, all patrol officers wear badges, whether on their shirt or duty belt. Maybe one day I could tweak uniforms to include plain clothes for a more "True Crime NYC/LA" feel to LSPDFR.

I am certain it will, but I think you have to remove the air units from the special units file or something like that. From what I remember being told in this thread.

This is used for the public version, so whichever one on lcpdfr it currently is, I try to keep it up to date with that. I think we're still on 9.3 Law and Order EUP, etc.

You can use a trainer menu, but there are times when script hook needs to be updated after each GTA 5 update, and many scripts, such as simple trainer remain unavailable for an unknown amount of time. Rage Plugin Hook gets updated almost instantly.

I don't remember the last time I touched that file. It's been that way since the beginning, and I've never had a crash because I always use the same files from the download, swapping out the cars for ones I prefer. I'll take a look at it soon.

You can edit the Custom Regions file to change the police agency assigned to Mirror Park (MIRR) to a different one. Additionally, you can modify the regions.xml file located in the LSPDFR folder to make the same changes. I have assigned park rangers to Mirror Park to utilize EUP, as there are limited park areas in the city where they can patrol. The goal of this project is to incorporate as much as possible into EUP for single-player use. While I could set them up as special backup units instead of local patrol backup, doing so would require a significant amount of time. Therefore, I am unlikely to make extensive changes to this mod unless absolutely necessary. I have also left instructions just under the vehicle information tab regarding which file to edit and where to make the changes.
