LSPDFR Computer+
Thanks. I'll give it another shot here in a bit, and see if I can get a consistent crash log to post to see if I can identify my issue.

LSPDFR Computer+
I have a question and didn't really see anything about this, does the Additional_ComputerPlusImageAssets work? I put it in as required, and it does seem to pull the PED images, but haven't got a vehicle image to load yet, and seems to cause crashes. Seems to work much better without. I'm monitoring it and will try to load a log file once I see a consistent pattern, just not sure if the latest version needs this? When it's not loaded it pulls the ? image, which is fine, but would be nice if I could get the ped and vehicle images working.

LSPD Pack - *NEW* 2013 FPIS, 2013/2016 Explorer, 2015 Charger, 2016 Impala, 2013 Tahoe, 2011 CVPI - ELS Style Lighting
Same with the flashing parts, also ELS does not seem to work on all vehicles, but the paints did change. Looks like the author hasn't been on site since May, so I think this is done. Uninstalling.

White textures on Siren Activation
Kinda strange, not stressing since we've had such a rough week, but never seen this before....when I hit the siren, textures go white except for things like taillights, turn siren off, back to normal textures... Never seen this before.....maybe a one off, but I did reboot after updating everything, so it was a pretty clean load...

Game will not load
Saved my life sir....thank you! Update OpenIV, update that update.rpf, game loads...thanks again

ScripthookV
K. Kinda get that. Depending on how/if scripthook gets updated, while I like the LSPDFR, without plugins, kinda sad for me....better than nothing in the end...just hate stepping backwards....I noticed that JF just posted a youtube with tons of mods. Guess maybe he's blocked update and running old?
-
ScripthookV
By scripts you mean plugins? forgive me I'm a bit stupid...api's I get, but are /plugins going to work...
-
ScripthookV
So I'm thinking take scripthook out and see what works/loads? I don't use ELS
-
ScripthookV
That would be awesome, as long as I guess it's not violating anything here. Don't see why it would be. I mean, I saw a certain someone we all love just posted a youtube video today solo in LSPDFR using tons of plugins, maybe he's using a non-updated version of GTA, RAGE, and Script...
-
ScripthookV
So I'm confused...I know this isn't the place probably, but I though SH was needed to load some plugins here if we choose to load them....Granted, we could disable those plugins I guess?

ScripthookV
If you would that would be awesome...Scripthook being outdated is killing me now....or if not please PM me if that is possible...feeling lost

Petition to Take-Two Interactive & Rockstar Games RE: OpenIV closing
PC Gamer updated again noting that petition was now over 50,000 and Steam Reviews had hit "Overwhelmingly Negative" last 30 days and "Mixed" for the first time ever. If anything is going to succeed (maybe there is still hope) it's that the pressure is kept on and they are made to look such a big bully and creative crusher that it might get to a point where the negative publicity bends them. I know from the discussions over at steam several "fan boys" are complaining about the complaining. I also have seen some of those knuckleheads who actually think that they are going to see a decline in the hacking and cheating.....good luck with that. At some point they too might realize what a sham it was, and their lives are no better.

Steam has disabled user reviews for GTAV?
Anyone else see the same thing? I was watching all the negative reviews build, now it's all gone / disabled? Edit: It may just be me, or steam acting up....

Petition to Take-Two Interactive & Rockstar Games RE: OpenIV closing
Apparently Rockstar needs to update their "Primary Focus", as they clearly defined earlier, and still state, that their primary focus reference modding was protecting GTA Online....apparently that "protection" now seems to mean protecting online by trying to force everyone to play GTA Online to "extend" the life of the game. Not happening, Rockstar.... http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52429/asked-answered-the-rockstar-editor-gta-online-updates "We have always appreciated the creative efforts of the PC modding community and we still fondly remember the awesome zombie invasion mod and original GTA map mod for GTAIV PC among many other classics. To be clear, the modding policy in our license has not changed and is the same as for GTAIV. Recent updates to GTAV PC had an unintended effect of making unplayable certain single player modifications. This was not intentional, no one has been banned for using single player modifications, and you should not worry about being banned or being relegated to the cheater pool just for using single player PC mods. Our primary focus is on protecting GTA Online against modifications that could give players an unfair advantage, disrupt gameplay, or cause griefing. It also bears mentioning that because game mods are by definition unauthorized, they may be broken by technical updates, cause instability, or affect your game in other unforeseen ways."

Petition to Take-Two Interactive & Rockstar Games RE: OpenIV closing
While I was posting a new negative review in steam, after I did I updated and 100 more had done the same in that little time.. 68% of reviews in the last 30 days now show negative....over 14,000, most of which I'm sure date back to the past 2 days... WTF Rockstar/Take-Two.....

RAGENativeUI 1.6
Haven't seen much on this but I noted it Alex updated version about a month ago. Realize it's a scripting deal for the UI, and not an emergency / immediate thing, but does it hurt to update, will it break anything (I think not). I guess there will be some point where a modder uses it and will force an upgrade? Just thought I'd throw the fact out there that it was updated.

Virginia State Police (San Andreas Styled)
Love it. Loaded up with the VSP Interceptor, Only thing off is the badge, and that doesn't matter much.

What have I done?
Got em back! Lesson learned. Luckily I learned lesson to always back up a file... Another general question and I'll leave ya alone. I notice when changing things like car skins, etc., that generally we're overwriting the same police car/sherrif car etc. files. So this means that basically we're restricted to whatever car skin you have loaded for that model at any given time? Can't build a "garage" of seperatlly skinned cars so they are all available?

What have I done?
Outstanding. Thanks. Cleaning up my own mess now, Thanks for the quick response.

What have I done?
Wait, I think I see the problem. In the mods folder somehow I put in two update.rpf files. One of them has the popouts with the orignal 60.9 k or whatever with data. So I think I just need to get rid of the one update.rpg folders in there. Am I correct in assuming though that the game willl read from the mods folder first for anything in there before going to vanilla folders?

What have I done?
I apologize for this stupid question, but I'm doing something wrong. I have the ASI Loader and OpenIV.asi as verified in OpenIV. I have /mods folder, and the entire /update folder copied into the /mods folder. I feel comfortable with the plugins now, so I though I'd try some modding additions. I created the mods folder and put an entire copy of the update folder in there. I downloaded the 70's traffic mod, put the popouts.ymt in update/update.rpf/x64/levels/gta5 as directed after making a backup of the original popouts.ymt. I may have also put it in the standdard/update/update.rpf/x64/levels/gta5. Now when I went to put the original back (in both the mod/update/update.rpf/x64/levels/gta5 and vanilla update/update.rpf/x64/levels/gta5on OpenIV) i removed the 70's and added my original popouts.ymt back in. Now there is no traffic in either LSPDFR mode, or regular story mode. I can see headlights way off, and then they disappear. Couple of questions. 1. with the mods folder and the OpenIV.asi, does this also cause the game to read everything in the mods folder like the popouts, or are things like that read from the vanilla /update folder only? 2. What have I done wrong with moving the files? Why isn't my traffic generating again? Edit: Now that I look at it, that original popouts.ymt is 0 bytes. WTH? Where can I get my vanilla version without reinstalling everything? I stared to make a backkup of the entire GTA V steam folder, but it was so large I stopped that. bad move. Thanks...

HELP
Well, don't give up, I'm sure someone with more experience can help. I'm sure it's just one little thing that is off. I noted one thing I didn't do during install, is some of the addon mods have the ragehook and you are told to put it in there. I didn't do that, because you already have the most current one if donwloaded from the site, so replacing it with one included in a mod didn't make sense to me, so I don't do it when installing a mod.

HELP
Another thing might be the order of install? Not sure, I'm sure you did it right, but if I recall in the instructions it stated I think to make sure and install LSPD first, then Rage, or the other way. It seemed to emphasize that the installation sequence was important. I also used Benzo's video for install, if you have an hour and follow it thouroughly, it works. I used it twice to do a fresh install.

HELP
I'm still fairly new to this mod, the only thing I can suggest is check the Rage options. When clicking the Ragehook EXE to run, hold down the shift Key until it takes you into the options, click on the Plugins tab, ensure Load all plugins is selected, then click save and launch. I'm not positive, but I think you have to do this only once. Whenever you come back in later using the same thing, it always shows default back to don't load plugins for some reason, but they still load, but after you do this one time, you probably need to ensure if you're ever in there again, that you don't save it with the default don't load plugins selected. Again, I'm not sure why it defaults back to that. Anyways, try going in one time, selecting load all plugins, and save and launch.
