  10. Thanks. I'll give it another shot here in a bit, and see if I can get a consistent crash log to post to see if I can identify my issue.
  11. I have a question and didn't really see anything about this, does the Additional_ComputerPlusImageAssets work? I put it in as required, and it does seem to pull the PED images, but haven't got a vehicle image to load yet, and seems to cause crashes. Seems to work much better without. I'm monitoring it and will try to load a log file once I see a consistent pattern, just not sure if the latest version needs this? When it's not loaded it pulls the ? image, which is fine, but would be nice if I could get the ped and vehicle images working.

  15. Same with the flashing parts, also ELS does not seem to work on all vehicles, but the paints did change. Looks like the author hasn't been on site since May, so I think this is done. Uninstalling.
  16. Kinda strange, not stressing since we've had such a rough week, but never seen this before....when I hit the siren, textures go white except for things like taillights, turn siren off, back to normal textures... Never seen this before.....maybe a one off, but I did reboot after updating everything, so it was a pretty clean load...
  17. Saved my life sir....thank you! Update OpenIV, update that update.rpf, game loads...thanks again
  18. K. Kinda get that. Depending on how/if scripthook gets updated, while I like the LSPDFR, without plugins, kinda sad for me....better than nothing in the end...just hate stepping backwards....I noticed that JF just posted a youtube with tons of mods. Guess maybe he's blocked update and running old?
  19. By scripts you mean plugins? forgive me I'm a bit stupid...api's I get, but are /plugins going to work...
  20. So I'm thinking take scripthook out and see what works/loads? I don't use ELS
  21. That would be awesome, as long as I guess it's not violating anything here. Don't see why it would be. I mean, I saw a certain someone we all love just posted a youtube video today solo in LSPDFR using tons of plugins, maybe he's using a non-updated version of GTA, RAGE, and Script...
  22. So I'm confused...I know this isn't the place probably, but I though SH was needed to load some plugins here if we choose to load them....Granted, we could disable those plugins I guess?
  23. If you would that would be awesome...Scripthook being outdated is killing me now....or if not please PM me if that is possible...feeling lost
  24. PC Gamer updated again noting that petition was now over 50,000 and Steam Reviews had hit "Overwhelmingly Negative" last 30 days and "Mixed" for the first time ever. If anything is going to succeed (maybe there is still hope) it's that the pressure is kept on and they are made to look such a big bully and creative crusher that it might get to a point where the negative publicity bends them. I know from the discussions over at steam several "fan boys" are complaining about the complaining. I also have seen some of those knuckleheads who actually think that they are going to see a decline in the hacking and cheating.....good luck with that. At some point they too might realize what a sham it was, and their lives are no better.
  25. Anyone else see the same thing? I was watching all the negative reviews build, now it's all gone / disabled? Edit: It may just be me, or steam acting up....
  26. Apparently Rockstar needs to update their "Primary Focus", as they clearly defined earlier, and still state, that their primary focus reference modding was protecting GTA Online....apparently that "protection" now seems to mean protecting online by trying to force everyone to play GTA Online to "extend" the life of the game. Not happening, Rockstar.... http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52429/asked-answered-the-rockstar-editor-gta-online-updates "We have always appreciated the creative efforts of the PC modding community and we still fondly remember the awesome zombie invasion mod and original GTA map mod for GTAIV PC among many other classics. To be clear, the modding policy in our license has not changed and is the same as for GTAIV. Recent updates to GTAV PC had an unintended effect of making unplayable certain single player modifications. This was not intentional, no one has been banned for using single player modifications, and you should not worry about being banned or being relegated to the cheater pool just for using single player PC mods. Our primary focus is on protecting GTA Online against modifications that could give players an unfair advantage, disrupt gameplay, or cause griefing. It also bears mentioning that because game mods are by definition unauthorized, they may be broken by technical updates, cause instability, or affect your game in other unforeseen ways."
