  5. I can agree with you there, but with more specifics than anything - not much retro and not much lore-friendly and low-poly? I'm not into making realistic cars, as it just doesn't suit the game, IMO - nothing against the modders here, though, it's natural that people want realism in GTA - but there's not much out there that suits the mods I want to make that aren't massively hi-poly and ELS.
  6. I've already mentioned this with cpast over on Discord, and he has acknowledged that the 'featured' section of the gallery is not thought about much. As such, I would just like to remind the admins that it does, in fact, exist, but it does need a good update or two. There are mostly IV screenshots from around about 2013-2015 that are still featured there, with only one or two V screens featured, and I know that removing their featured status may not prove popular with some - is there a way to put a 'previously featured' badge on some mods? - but I think this really should change with the amount of V mods and artistic screenshots that are supplementing them. So in short, would updating featured be possible, like on a monthly rota, so we won't have to look at the same old IV pics anymore? Not saying that they aren't good anymore, they're just a bit...dated.

  13. You're in OpenIV, right? PRINT SCREEN. Simple as that, no need for screenshotting software.
  14. To give an update on current proceedings, many of you will know that Lundy took down a majority of the models featured here, either because they 'needed improvement', or they 'didn't fit the lore'. Now, I have my reservations on the matter, but I'm afraid that this does mean that this pack is pretty much unworkable for some models. I am wondering whether a rework with the appropriate lore-friendly vehicles can go ahead, given the resources and right models be released. However, as it stands, if you're looking for lore-friendly retro mods, I'm afraid you'll have to look elsewhere.
  15. Why have you started an argument in a thread that's just over five or so months old...

Alright, that's the last of the state police Marbelles sorted. Just got a few more mods to upload, then I can wind down GTA IV well and truly. This is ThatOneHick's Willard Marbelle (ELS/Non-ELS), modified to give the appearance of an early 1980s ASP car. Using resources from the ASP Stanier (thanks, Abraxas!), my own mods, and many reference images, I have made the texture as accurate as can be with the limitations GTA IV texturing has. There's a chance that the liveries may be slightly incorrect because of said limitations, and my skills - for example, the Alderney logo on the plate had to be taken from Abraxas' license plate, so it may appear spotty - so if any problems or inaccuracies show, tell me. The original model is located here (ELS), or here (non-ELS)(much credit goes to ThatOneHick for a perfect US-Granada-based police car, he's coming back!) Please do not redistribute without my permission. This mod is exclusive to LCPDFR.com. Enjoy!
  16. Huh, I think it's already been done, sorry to break it to you. https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/federal-signal-unitrol-480k-80-s-and-90-s-lapd
  17. Logo is off-centre, wrong shade of blue, and you used Calibri - all I can say is that you tried. You'll get better, hopefully. That's how many people start out here.
  18. Thanks, but just bear in mind that I'm winding down IV to focus more on V. I'm not quitting, but there's going to be less mods coming out for IV.
