Sometimes backups get f*cked up. Just delete your mods folder and start over.

I tried doing the above, but for some reason the folder keeps reverting to read-only.

Last Saturday, I booted up GTA fine with Rage, no problems at all. I made no changes to the game in between then and now. Now, however, the game crashes right after the launcher goes to the black screen to load the game. I tried removing my Scripts, Plugins, LSPDFR, and Mods folders. Nothing worked. The game loads fine if I don't use Rage. I don't know why this is happening, it's right out of the blue. RagePluginHook_14092016_193929.log RagePluginHook_14092016_194256.log

I think it may be Simple Trainer.

So the other day my game was working, and now whenever I try to launch the game via Rage it crashes for an unknown reason, right after the Rage logo goes away and the game black-screens to load. I made no changes to the game whatsoever, so I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out. I tried to upload a log but there was no log from today in my logs folder, so I uploaded a log from a different day when I had this issue. You did not put Rage in the right place.

Just delete your mods folder. It may not be those files causing the crash.

The pictures don't work for some reason. But make sure you put in the vehicles.meta files.

You need a map editor and a map loader. I'd say get Simple Trainer (for the loader), but I've never put in a map so I don't know if it has a loader. Maps are cool, but pretty synonymous with lag.
