if you are new to modeling i would recommend starting with a program like google sketchup or Blender, then export it into zmodler for final. Or watch lots of youtube videos/read their forum. Plenty of helpful things. but 3D modeling isnt really something you just pick up and do. I spent years learning stuff when i was in highschool/college and since ive been out of the modeling for a few years im really rusty and doing alot of relearning right now. 3D modeling is very time consuming. I use to work with Zipper Interactive on their SOCOM games and we would spend months on a map, and weeks on buildings/objects, and that was with a $5,000 modeling program and stupid expensive computers.

lol if you dont let it finish, then you wont know if it can fix your problem. Sometimes thats what it takes is a full disk defrag. really every 6months to a year (if you do more then just office programs and serf the web) you should do a full reinstall of windows and wipe your harddrive. that will keep everything running good. Also invest in air blasters and electric safe wipes to clean your computer. use the air to blast dust from fans and what not and the wipes to clean solid surfaces (NOT your MB/GBU, just stuff like fans, case) my friend had a laggin laptop and he had it for 3 years. he was gonna take it to a comp shop who was gonna charge him 100 bucks x_x so i grabbed it from him one morning, sprayed all the dust out of the fans and what not, then it ran like a champ again. Computers take maintenance, you cant just buy and neglect or they wont last.

wait what? how did she fail at "knowing her job" idk her thoughts, and I dont assume to know police thoughts as I am active duty which is its own world. But if anything she did her job very well within her knowledge. I have also read Art of War, and its by far one of the greatest books ever, but not sure how she failed at the big picture. So if i understand what your saying, she should have not stopped him cause it doesnt fit in the big picture? what is the big picture. I know what mine is for what I do, and people will live or die from it. Is not police to protect and enforce? So your saying the local pd guy was legit in what he was doing and only she was at fault? fair enough bailey, guess i only see it when we are on MVA calls when the FD are called out and pd will flag folks over. Best thing ever happened when I was running running traffic control on a 2lane country highway and our rescue is handling a head on, well this gal comes flying up on our scene and my capt throws a handful of chaff/rocks(everything was to small and he was to slow for any damage to be caused) from the side of the road onto the windsheild of the car to get the driver to slow down. The guy in the car gets out and is yellin all sorts of stuff when the state trooper walks over hand on gun, "sir get back in your car or i will arrest you for reckless driving, and endangering emergency personal" he then turns to us "no worries i saw it all, good work" lol our troopers and us get along great

hey ninjia lets talk, I have a hell of a comp so recording wouldnt be an issue for me, as well one or 2 other folks recording so we can have multiple footage of the same thing just different angles without 100 retakes.(as long as their graphics settings are the same so it looks the same pieced together) Also you need a mic mate haha. A racing movie would be legit, mix in a couple of car chases/police chase, w/e.

LAWL! did anyone else catch him say "i didnt see you behind me" also those freaking out about her pulling her gun, do you see that as soon as he was compliant she holstered her gun, and really when she got close she was barrel in his face so took a less aggressive stance. I do love how he pulled to the left... x_x really? also i love how apparently in florida they dont have a move over law, which in my state means no matter what the colors are, if there are flashing lights on the side of the road you either move over a lane if possible or slow way down. ALSO did anyone hear her say that a police car the day before was stolen and the driver was shot and killed? hell ya pull out that gun on the driver for not yielding right away. anyways, she was fully justified, and if anything I want to shake her hand and say "thank you" cause who watchs the police? I do feel if he had pulled over earlyer it would have worked out fine and not turned into this huge ordeal. To add to the escort deal I have a couple of stories for ya. In our fire district, our troopers have the ability to actually run escort for civilians under special circumstances. like one time we needed lumber fast, so we got it at lowes, and the lowes truck had an escort, however it was no 100mph if anything it was at or less then the speed limit, just without stopping haha. Also Im a volunteer firefighter, and have blue lights on my truck which allows me to run code 3 for emergency. I was running around 80+ down a country highway, (just hit the open flats so i hadnt opened up yet) and the state trooper just chilling on the side of the road flipped on his lights and pulled out behind me, as I started to pull over he pasted and waved at me to follow. to bad he was leaving me in the dust cause the trucks governor is only 105 x_x

weird, I do not have this problem at all O.o it ticks but never crashes my game.

or just look up a couple threads at I prefer non-els purely for the fact that my car takes damage, and can get shot up, as well as leaving doors open. I do however have an ELS file, I actually have 3 versions of GTA4 on my comp, non-els (with other cars), ELS, and vanilla LCPDFR (for MP use with no changes at all). ELS is the only game that gives me issues with random crashs but outside that they all run like champs. some folks are gonna love the purty flashing lights, and the slick lookin cars. When others like old school look, or prefer more rough and tough style where your vehicles can take damage and you think more about your driving, car position, and so on.

^^ This group is just GTA 4 base, nothing else, right now we are using only vanilla and had a successful game last saturday.

wait buy what addon? Im apart of the LCPD group and I did not have to buy any addon... so? I usally play vanilla online alot, cause i dont care to get into a "hey what car you got.. ok go get this and this car, these skins" lol I just wanna play, and any thing else mixed in does create more unstibility then what LCPDFR already causes.

@tom, when i was waying out which processor to get, I heavly looked at that 6 core one, since i do alot of 3D modeling with Maya and what not, but idk what AMD did with their cores, but the 6core and even the 8core they got just are not cutting it for main line gaming, great for processing and being work horses. I think it probably has to do with what unr3al was getting at with the way games are designed. Also AMD sayed they are going to a whole new chipset so the MB for AM3+ will be out of date and would require a new board :( I was impressed with Intel at their I5 quad core processors, cause i had an old pentium back in the day and it was a champ, then some AMD cores but never impressed with them. This quad core is rocking 50-60fps in GTA on all settings high, and without anything over clocked maya and other programs run smooth as a babys butt. I had a good laugh tho when i took a large sphere in maya and just exploded it into all its little polygon frags, and my computer shit a break but for 600 bucks, cant go wrong.

so in an attempt earlyer with another LCPDFR member we tried ingame mics, or atleast tried. I could hear him through my stereo system but not my headset(w/mic). but game music/sfx came through my head set. He could not hear me on my mic at all. I started the game with the mic/head set plugged in first but some reason his voice still went to my speakers. so any ideas? thanks!

just wondering why the ASI loader is required? I dont have one, and I have SNT, DAS, all running fine?
