  1. If you look at this car you'll see the indicator strobes are used for the vetexes in the side marker light housing. https://www.accuratestudio.com/filebase/file/43-2006-fictional-lspd-ford-crown-victoria-p71-street-appearance-package/ All you have to do is uncompound the indicators, move the dummy to the desired location, and then recompound.
  2. Ah, you need to change the carvariations for those slots to lightsetting 1. Not sirensetting, lightsetting.
  3. Try reading the ELS documentation. The CHP patterns option overrides the users ability to change patterns on the fly. If you want to be able to change patterns on the fly and use non-chp patterns change the els config from chp to led. Have you ever heard of something called the California vehicle code? It requires a rear facing amber light and a forward facing red steadyburn. http://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/codes_displaySection.xhtml?sectionNum=25252.&lawCode=VEH http://www.911signalusa.com/states/california.php
  4. Did you change the carvariations to sirensetting 13?
  5. Have you tried removing tint from the windows? looks like it could be a meta issue. I know sometimes metas can cause issue with cars using the wrong textures. Try putting it in another slot like police or something. change the carvariations to sirensetting 13. What do you mean by no emissive texture? Do you mean the CA steadyburn? Have you made sure the carvariations is set to sirensetting 13?

  8. No problem. as for the ELS coronas that's on the modeler. I know that the ELS coronas shine through the car so like a corona on a rear TA will show through on the front side (that's because of ELS, so there's nothing we can do about that), but for coronas showing up out of place (i.e. the windshield), besides the takedown/scenelight coronas, is totally on the modeler. If a corona is showing up out of place it means most likely that the modeler doesn't know how to setup ELS extras for V properly. Just some advice, I find that most of the modelers who constantly throw models out like there's no tomorrow tend to have major issues like coronas being out of place, incorrect/ missing LODs, clipping issues, or major material issues, so I usually avoid those models and stick to people who spend more time making their cars, because it's all about quality over quantity right?
  9. That's because he forgot to enable extra_11 in the ELS config, so the takedowns are acting like traditional GTA extras. Just use notepad and change <Extra11 IsElsControlled="false" /> to <Extra11 IsElsControlled="true" />

  11. That would remove one of the extras from 1-4 which could Make it extremely hard to create symmetrical and/or accurate patterns. It would also require the user to manually turn on the cruise lights every time they go into lstg 3 which would cause more confusion than extra steadyburns lights back with default lights.
  12. Probably still wouldn't work efficiently because you would be able to use extras7-9 since secondary lights turn on at lstg 1. And you would still be limited to only one unit number per car.
  13. Yea that wouldn't work because you still can't map an emissive material to the vehicle template. That could work, but then wouldn't You have to drive around with lstg 1 always active?
  14. No, unfortunately this wouldn't work. ELS cruise lights just make it so certain extras from 1-4 steady burn. If you did that the extras would flash like the emergency lights. There are ways of making AirEL with just a light emissive material and a texture, but those ways would restrain the user to having all the same unit numbers on that car since you can't tie it in with say the vehicle template.
