Zmodeler 3 glass
you have to assign the texture similarly to the tutorial.

Zmodeler 3 glass
http://forum.zmodeler3.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=7350 Basically you have to just set the materials to shaders like "vehicle_vehglass" for things like the lightbar glass.

Ah, ok. That car is a SAP car, so you need to make part of the door handles chrome, and you probably want to edit the door trim to look more like a P72 or P73 door trim and then add the chrome strip, or you can rip the door trim off schaefft's gta iv dev cvpi and edit that.

I seem to be a bit confused with this car. Are you trying to do a SAP style CVPI, or like a retro-fitted 98 unmarked? You have P7B door trim, door handles, and headrests, but a chrome slit grille and chrome rear trim.

1999 Ford Crown Victoria P71- California Highway Patrol
If you zoom in really close you can see that he's using the period correct blacked out slit grille, but it's easy to mistake it for the honeycomb. You probably want to set the grille material to either a paint or mesh material and mess around with the spec map, so the grille will have a glossy look instead of a matte look.

Showcasing broken mods
The memory crash is most likely because your laptop can't handle rde. rde is very resource intensive mainly because of certain scripts and the fact that it adds quite a few vehicles to the game, so considering you paid 450$ for a laptop, It's probably extremely under powered.

Unknown lightbars
You should be able to easily make lt.Caine's Mx7000 into an Excalibur since it seems like the big difference is That instead of halogen flashers it uses leds, but that's if you're making cars. If you're making a skin pack then excuse my obliviousness.

The FPIS and Tahoe have a Federal Signal Valor and the CVPI should be a Code3 Excalibur.

Ventura County
I try not to set deadlines for myself since I prefer to work on the models when I'm motivated and so I can spend enough time on each model to make sure that each model is the best that it can be. For this car in particular I think I'm going to end up releasing it in a Ventura County Pack that will include Simi Valley Police, contracted cities like Camarillo Police and Thousand Oaks, etc.. So to be safe I wouldn't expect them out anytime real soon, and I also want to work on some of my other car packs also.

Please someone make this F-650/F-750
I'm going to be honest here, not everyone has the time or money to sit down for a few days straight to poly crunch, texture, model and fit an interior, convert, create proper LODs, and poly fill a load of dumpster models, much less pay for them all. Of course if you want to pay for them and do all that work, then by all means be my guest.

[WIP] LAPD/LASD/CHP FPIU (2014)
Really for LAPD the commander should be just an accessory for the ped model, and if you do an LASD ped I would say that the mic should just be a part of the model since most if not all LASD deputies have one.

[WIP] LAPD/LASD/CHP FPIU (2014)
I think he means the Motorola commander mics. Some LAPD officers use them, but not all. On another note LASD doesn't use Motorola commanders, they use a different type of Motorola Mic. Commander Mic: Other Motorola Mic (that lasd uses):

Spotlight Positions on models
I feel like there are mixed opinions about how spotlights should be oriented on vehicle models. I want to see what the general consensus is, so that I can better please users. Feel free to leave your thoughts and opinions on the matter.

And a Slicktop to match
Thanks! And the ford badge on the trunk is an extra for all you artists. Maybe, but I'm just doing a fictional car That's not really based on anything but my own imagination.
