You can modify the files yourself. The textures are in Plugins/CoastalCallouts/HoistUI (I think? somewhere in there), and you can set the text font/size/position in the INI. If you make a slick looking one I'd consider including it in the mod, or you can upload the customized textures as a file download here.

I agree. We'd need a cruise ship model for that though. Maybe someday, but I don't have one currently.

Coastal Callouts 1.2 is currently in Beta for members of the Parks Benefactor Program, and will be released to the public in February. There will be a lot of updates based on feedback and support requests for the current public release. Some highlights include:
Improved map files to give a better experience when mp maps aren't loaded, and to hopefully eliminate an issue with some maps not spawning correctly Updated Coast Guard station in Los Santos to add better fences (now the gates slide open as you approach, much easier to drive through) New and improved flags and flagpoles at all stations Much-requested "Coastal Callouts Only mode" option which will randomly start calls from Coastal Callouts while preventing callouts from other packs from loading Improved spawning of the helicopter hoist to reduce the glitched hoist effect that sometimes happens  Added option in coastal vehicle spawn menu to spawn the vehicle in your current position (instead of in air/water for helis/boats) Improved controls, especially for player using controllers, when staging and dropping cargo barrels from the planes Fixed bug where the "loading coastal models" step during startup would fail on some systems Improved help prompts throughout the mod, and added better key icons to help prompts where possible Improved instructions in heli rescue training callout Added "place grabbed ped in vehicle" keybinding to INI Added support for the newly updated Spotlight mod for several boats Added new Bell 412 helicopter

I will investigate the pants issue.

You can modify the liveries using OpenIV as usual. Just browse into your LML folder from OpenIV.

Have you tried lowering it a little bit, then raising it a little bit, after you create the hoist? Have you tried the "force rewind hoist" option on the hoist menu?

I've just begun working on my first callouts pack: Coastal Callouts. Currently there isn't much going on at sea in LSPDFR, and I'm working to change that. This will be a callouts series focusing on marine patrols and incidents. I'm planning to eventually have enough to make a boat-based marine patrol fun and interesting, but the callouts will also be designed so that a land-based unit could respond to a dock, grab a boat (or maybe a helicopter or something else), and then head to the scene.
Callouts will include law enforcement and SAR missions, both in the ocean and on beaches, in ports, and around the terminal and docks.
For all you modders out there, if anybody's interested in collaborating, shoot me a PM. I have some ideas already for specific sub-functionality which could be tackled by individual contributors and would make development move much quicker.
If you have suggestions, please let me know! Again, this is very early in the process, I'm still scoping out good locations for callouts and brainstorming what to put in them. So, it's a good time to make your ideas heard!

Coastal Callouts Version 1.2 Beta is now available to Parks Benefactor Program members! This update includes a bunch of adjustments and new features based on player feedback from the public release. Changes include:

New optional "Coastal Callouts Only" mode. You will get random callouts coming in periodically, but they'll only be coastal ones. Also added a "Request random Coastal Callout" button. This is all available under the Callout Config menu on the main menu.  Improved spawning the rope for the helicopter hoist, especially when playing with low FPS, so it's much less likely to glitch out now. Improved spawning of Paleto Bay station to hopefully prevent it from sometimes in the air incorrectly. Added "Disable Flight Music" option to settings so you can fly your helicopter in silence with only the satisfying whine of the rotors Added "Spawn in Current Position" option to vehicle spawner in main coastal menu (instead of spawning boats in the nearest water and aircraft in the air) Added "Disable Ambient Boats" option to main coastal menu, so you can turn on/off the additional extra ambient boats around you whenever you want Changed "Order Passengers Out of Boat" option to work any time you have a boat assigned/active, not just when you are in the driver's seat Clarified some help text in a few places Updated the map at the main coast guard station in Los Santos with gates that slide open automatically, so you don't have to try to smash your way through the swinging gates anymore. Touched up a few other things at that station too. Added new flag props to all stations This update will be released to the public after it's gotten a bit of testing from the beta testers. I anticipate it will be released before the end of January, but an exact date is not known yet. If you're interested in trying out the beta, you can find more information in my signature below.

Wow!  This is awesome!  I especially love how there are callouts that focus entirely on search and rescue in addition to the law enforcement ones.

You can use the helicopter menu to change the copilot's mode. Try setting it to "follow nearest vehicle" or "follow nearest ped" for that situation.

If you have already grabbed a ped, and you want to be on the line with the ped grabbed, use Shift + * to get on the hoist with them still grabbed.

Fill out the support template, including logs.

Coastal should be able to handle going off/on duty multiple times. A lot of other mods don't handle that well though. I would suggest if you are going off duty, that you unload and then load LSPDFR again before going back on duty. I don't see any crashes related to Coastal in your log file.

I've got LML working alongside traditional mods in the mods folder just fine, no problem whatsoever. Like everyone else said, installing LML won't delete or mess up any other mods.

Did you install your gameconfig via LML or manually with OpenIV? When is the game crashing, and does it show any kind of error message?

If you use Better EMS you can call an ambulance to transport them. I'll look into adding something to place non-arrested peds in the car though, it's a good suggestion.

If you would take the time to understand how LML works, you would understand it doesn't touch your mods folder. Any issues like you describe are user error.

I looked at your previous screenshot again...for one, your mods folder was called "_mods" which is why they weren't loading. Two, why in the hell do you have every single dlcpack in your mods folder? You only need the ones you're using for mods (if your using Albo's modding DLC, then you shouldn't need ANY of the default dlcpacks).

For the crashing problem, if it started crashing after naming your mods folder properly, then it's because of something in there. Make sure you have the most recent version of update.rpf. Honestly, I seriously doubt anyone could narrow down the issue if you have EVERY dlc pack in your mods folder.

It honestly baffles me how you blame LML for breaking your game after seeing that.

Never too late to learn to code! The best way to make your dreams become reality in lspdfr is to make it yourself - that's how all my mods started. I'll be honest, the chances of any of the few active experienced devs deciding to focus on this and actually completing a pack is slim. Why not try to do it yourself? You'll learn something new, and you get to enjoy making the exact callout you want!

Planning a minor update soon to improve a few things. After that will probably be taking a short break from Coastal Callouts to focus on some other mods, but will be creating more content for Coastal in the future!
