  1. LML does not affect mods installed using OpenIV. Installing mods the "traditional" way still works fine. There are several police boats already: poldef (police version of the defender), rbsheriff (sheriff version of the response boat medium), and poldinghy. They are inside the LML folder in your game directory. Coastal Callouts/Stream/Vehicles. The Coastal Callouts folder may be somewhere inside a folder called "downloader".
  2. That was a known issue on version 1.0, but should be fixed on version 1.1 - I have tested it and seen other people play that callout without issues. I'd suggest updating the LML package to be sure. This is an issue with LML, not with Coastal Callouts. Follow this issue in the LML support forums. You can manually install the package in the meantime by downloading it normally, extracting it, and copying it to your LML folder.
  3. Did you update to version 1.1, including updating the LML package? You're welcome to release a custom background, no problem. You don't have to credit me but it would be polite to include a link or mention of coastal callouts somewhere if you release it publicly. The vehicles can all be spawned from the menu, or you can look in the LML folder and browse to the vehicle folders in the coastal pack.
  4. Sorry my mod doesn't have enough terrorism for you and that you got bored after only an hour or two. Send me a link to your callout pack when it's released, I'll be happy to check it out.
  5. Go to the wardrobe menu to see the custom added outfits Upload ragepluginhook.log This is an error with LML, not with Coastal Callouts. Someone has posted about it in the LML support forum, I suggest you follow this thread:
  6. Post in the LML support forum: https://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/forum/925-lml-user-support/
  7. Bad advice. The proper way to do this is to set your texture quality to "very high" in your GTA graphics settings. The YTDs were carefully optimized to balance performance. They will use the lower quality textures when you are farther away, reducing the likelihood of game memory errors and crashes. If your PC can't handle the high quality textures, you can live with the lower quality ones, or just change the texture quality in your graphics settings if your PC can handle it.
  8. Please post on the support forum thread and make sure to include vfs.log.
  9. That's cool, I wasn't aware of that feature! Currently there are no boat partner features built in to Coastal Callouts. You can use bodyguard functions from a trainer or use a mod like Menyoo to spawn peds and put them in your boat, but they won't really do much. Considering trying to add more boat crew AI abilities in a future update, but no specific plans yet.
  10. UK pack will be posted any day now! The AU and ES packs are not quite as far along.
  11. You could set yourself as unavailable for calls in the LSPDFR menu, then use a mod like Callout Manager to force the specific Coastal callouts you want. Otherwise no, there's no way built into LSPDFR to only get calls from one plugin while others are also loaded.
  12. Sharks are built into GTA, I didn't add them! Just one of the many hazards of the job 😉
  13. I have used this code before to find the difference in heading between two entities: float headingDiff = MathHelper.NormalizeHeading(object2.Heading - object1.Heading); So you would want to check that the heading diff was about 180 (give it some +/- range), then also check your distance
  14. Why don't you want to use LML for it?
  15. Watch the installation tutorial video and then fill out the support template if you still need help
  16. You are probably clicking left mouse button ("Place tape on world") instead of middle mouse button ("place barrier and attach tape").
  17. If you need support, first watch the installation tutorial video (linked above) and if you still can't figure it out, post in the Support forum thread:
  18. Alright, here is an ELS config that lets you use ELS with the cgtruck. It's just a mostly empty VCF which defaults everything over to the non-ELS lights, but lets you use it with the ELS controls and sirens. I don't recommend it, and I don't recommend ELS, but for those of you who really love ELS there ya go. You can also copy it to any other model which has non-ELS lights, e.g. copy it to defender.xml and it'll work there too. Note that ELS apparently blocks the radio selection wheel, and on vehicles that don't have a siren in their default audio config it may select a radio station when you enter the vehicle and there's no way to change it. That's an issue with ELS - which again I don't recommend. cgtruck.xml
  19. This worked for me to replace the handling on "polmav" with "as350" handling: <Replacements> <Replacement name="AS350 polmav replacement"> <FileEntryReplacement type="VEHICLE_METADATA_FILE">data/vehicles.meta</FileEntryReplacement> <FileEntryReplacement type="HANDLING_FILE">data/handling.meta</FileEntryReplacement> <FileReplacements>stream</FileReplacements> </Replacement> </Replacements>
  20. This may be due to antivirus not liking the file. I see the file size is 0 kB. Try redownloading, and make sure the file size is >0. If you still have issues, post in the LML Support Forums. https://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/forum/925-lml-user-support/ Sometimes the Paleto station spawns funny. If this happens, run the following console commands in the RPH console (F4): TogglePaletoStation false TogglePaletoStation true Those two problems are related. Did you read the message on the screen? That issue with not being able to enter the boats is caused by an incompatibility with bva.asi or morecontrolv.dll. Remove those mods, you have one or the other installed. If you have issues with the hoist looking like this, try the "repair hoist" option in the hoist menu, or just try putting it down for half a second and then up for half a second and it should be resolved. Sounds like you probably made some invalid edits to the wardrobe.ini file. Try again, and if it's still failing upload your wardrobe.ini file and I'll take a look.
  21. Hahahaha. I thought I disabled putting animals in the basket, but maybe I added it back at some point so you could rescue dogs during hurricanes? Good job.
  22. Core features require at minimum some addon props and textures. You can use the LML Mod Manager to enable/disable different resources within the package. Double-click on the package in Mod Manager, and you can uncheck the "enabled" checkbox for different components of the mod. The Core Files group is required. The model name is "cgtruck" if you want to create an ELS config for it, but the lights are non-ELS. Thank you, I'll take a look and can add this to a future update.
  23. Custom Backup has been discontinued. Pretty much everything you could do in Custom Backup can be done in the default LSPDFR backup now, and there are other mods like Ultimate Backup which have had more attention recently. If there are any features of Custom Backup that you miss and can't find elsewhere, let me know and I'll consider if it would make sense to create a separate mod for that.
