Black Jesus's WIP Showroom
Sounds great, we the users can always add custom patterns later. Or if you're looking for someone to work on it for unreleased vehicles...http://goo.gl/gn3Yuc EDIT: one important thing you can do to make cars carcol-mod-friendly is to document where you put each of the 20 siren lights.

Sheriff & FIB Replacement Pack - ELS Style Lights - 2013 Tahoe, 2013 Charger, 2011 CVPI
Charger tail lights are still messed up on both sheriff and FBI models. The front turn signals are in the wrong place too. Actually the headlights, high beams, tail lights, and turn signals on all of the models need some adjustments here and there. Hope you can find time to fix them. Still the best work you've done to date, Captain. The patterns and EVL are sick. Keep it up

BJ what's your take on possibly adding environmental lighting and custom carcols entries for your future vehicles?

Emergency Lights Revolution (ELR) Not Working
That mod and Bxbugs' CVPI both come with an edited carcols.ymt file to create unique lighting patterns and reflections. If you install one after the other it will overwrite the file.

CVPI_VUV_V1_2 by FancyPanties
If you extract and edit the emissive textures in the YTD file, and increase the brightness of the actual red and blue light textures (or just add more white value to them), it will make the lights appear somewhat brighter.

[Research/WIP] Custom Light Patterns through carcols.ymt
Has anyone figured out a way to make head/tail lights flash faster? There seems to be a minimum time that they are illuminated, and it makes it impossible to get a strobe-like effect in the tail lights. Sure, you can make the coronas flash multiple times while the textures are illuminated, but I'm talking about making the textures themselves flash faster. It doesn't seem to be affected by the BPM.

CVPI_VUV_V1_2 by FancyPanties
This car is absolutely sick, especially with the update. I think the slicktop needs just a few last touches: The front-facing lighting pattern seems just a little too slow and empty, there's even a delay where there's no lights on at all for like a whole second or two. I would make it a little more saturated and flashy. For the strobes: right now you've just got coronas in there, and it doesn't really look good. In reality the lights would reflect off the glass inside the lighting fixtures, and light up the entire reverse-light housings (see Captain14's CVPI) and the entire running-light housing in the front. If you can make some semi-transparent light textures to give this effect, that would be one step ahead of where all the other car makers are at. I understand that you get to the point where you're like "no, I've worked on it enough and I'm done," but if you manage to squeeze these last couple improvements in, it would really make it 6 out of 5 stars. It's seriously awesome though.

Siren Mastery | Fully master your siren tones!
Updated to new version, still doesn't work for me. Seems to be some specific problems: At the beginning of each audio sound, the volume starts out really low and then jumps up to normal volume Sometimes the buttons don't work, and other times the audio continues to play at the very low volume level The horn sound sometimes plays 2 or 3 overlapping tones, and becomes really quiet when a siren is also on The "secondary siren" button now seems to randomly select from either the secondary or tertiary sirens. Is this an intended function? I liked them as seperate buttons. This is with completely vanilla sirens: RPH Log VehicleSirenSetup.xml Configs

Siren Mastery | Fully master your siren tones!
My sirens have weird echos, cut in and out, some of them are at different volumes and the buttons sometimes only work if I press them 2 or 3 times. Tried re-installing. Everything sounds fine without the plugin: INI is unchanged from the original. RagePluginHook.log

[WIP, REL] Better EMS
I don't like how if there's only one patient, one guy gets out and the rest sit there motionless in their vehicles. I know that the game comes up short when it comes to EMS props and animations. But maybe any leftover responders could at least get out and kneel beside the victims? Usually there are at least 2 or 3 responders treating a patient, one managing the airway, one taking vitals, one doing an assessment or asking questions. And of course if it's an MVA there's like 30 people there lol but that's not necessary.

[WIP] Sheriff Pack (2013 Tahoe & 2013 Charger)
I'm hype for that realistic lighting pattern, is that done without ELS? EDIT: just read the thread about carcols.ymt and all I can say is:

Non Lethal Strikes
Small bug: the file name in your download is "damage.meta" when it should be "damages.meta". So if someone simply adds the file to the RPF instead of right click --> replacing the original damages.meta file, it will be added but won't work.

Keep Calm - Reduce AI panic attacks when shots are fired
Also kills my FPS when running. It's fantastic that you continue to update this @Stealth22 and it does exactly what it's supposed to do, but I encourage you to keep looking for ways to optimize it!

[MODEL] Ford Expedition (Lots of Skins)
I'm as hyped as everyone else to have an Expedition, but just like the very first Tahoe that got released, it's fairly rough around the edges. You've got that big list of bugs in the description already, which is fine, but the model itself could use some work too. Especially details around the lights, bumpers, grilles and windows. I personally think the lighting scheme needs an overhaul as well. Also, push bar should always be an extra for every car, imo. Hopefully you find a good interior and good wheels to put on it. It's a great start, looking forward to an update! I'll be happy to come back with 5 stars when it gets to that point.

[WIP, REL] Better EMS
Hey, sorry I didn't get a post in before this release! Bug fixes sound great and I'll let you know how it goes. From last time my suggestions were going to be that there be a more permanent way to see incident reports, as mentioned in that PM. A close-able window or something. I'd also love to see further attempts to make EMS more realistic, perhaps with that gurney Requies found on the last page. But I understand that you're limited to the props and animations built into the game. I wonder if there's a backboard prop somewhere in the lifeguard-related stuff. Another cool thing would be the ability to mark a spot for the fire truck and ambulance to stage (park) before they arrive. One of the main roles of a police officer on a secured scene is directing traffic, and it would be very useful to get them to park in a specific spot, either to protect the scene from oncoming traffic, or to keep them out of the middle of the road. I'm thinking something along the lines as what Albo uses for Traffic Policer's Custom Pullover Location. Other than that the mod is amazing, keep up the great work!

Glitchgamer's (nick's) WIP and model showroom
Rescue truck will go great with this guy's ↑ EMS mod! For the back side, the LAFD urban search and rescues look kind of unique. Many of the heavy rescues I've seen around the country have some kind of slot or cabinet in the middle, with chevron striping on the sides, like these:

Display driver stopped responding and has recovered
Rolling back your drivers is always a good fix to try. If the driver keeps crashing across multiple versions, that might be a sign of hardware failure.
-
Police lights are dull
Try removing the Mods folder from the GTA directory, load the game, quit, and put the Mods folder back in (with Radiance V installed into it).

What can I do to make GTA V run better?
FYI to all, according to that processor info OP is using a notebook computer. Due to the likely compact size of the laptop, overheating will be an issue no matter what if you're trying to play video games on it.

2015 Chevy Tahoe LSSD
For those of you just skimming the reviews: this is a top-notch vehicle, on par with the stuff Bxbugs and Carperino make. Whipped up a Bernardino-style Sheriff skin and slapped it on; looks great. The multiple extra lightbars are an awesome feature. It's like having several models in one. I'd like to see more authors do this. Lightbars are quite good. The Valor looks a little small on top of the Tahoe; it's a big SUV but it doesn't quite seem to scale. The Whelen Liberty isn't a bright as the others and the textures clip a bit, but I think it's the lightbar model itself that's just like that. Lighting setup in general is great. Very realistic and well-balanced; lots of lights with 360 degree coverage, but just the right amount. Usually Tahoes get some extra lights put somewhere on the tailgate or around the license plate because they've got so much real estate on the back, but the hideaways in the brake lights work just fine. You said wheels are a WIP; glad to hear. Tow hitch is a nice touch. I'm not much of a first-person player, but the interior is very detailed. Things I'd love to see: Bugs worked out for the glass tint. You're not the original model maker so I guess it's unlikely, but it's a shame. I like tinting the windows on unmarked cars. Pushbar made into an extra. Would go nice with window tint for the completely undercover unit. And multiple livery support of course. Still a 5-star release right out of the gate. Bravo.

Car is awesome, but as an unmarked it would go really well with some tinted windows. It would be awesome if you could look into how to fix the windows!
