  1. It was clearly a joke from when they first said "YouTube is closing so we can select the winner."
  2. Modders work for free. One result is that we don't generally have release dates.
  3. No. It's totally serious. The fact that you even had to *ask* is a bit depressing. Honestly, the idea that anyone could think this is serious for a *second*...
  4. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to Content Mods.
  5. You know, you don't *have* to post here. If you consider the post a waste of time, don't make it. Also, I think that that gimmick was played out after the first time it was used.
  6. If you checked the file, you'd have noticed that it's in Development Resources, because the entire reason Ekalb uploaded it was for the lightbar. It's only on a vehicle model as a demo - the upload he linked *is* the unlocked lightbar.
  7. No, that's actually a part of ELS. MODERATOR NOTICE Thread split - In the future, please don't hijack other threads.
  8. Not true. It is possible to open that door; SNT does it.
  9. MODERATOR NOTICE Moved to IV Discussion.
  10. MODERATOR NOTICE Moving to GTA Series
  11. By default, G is both the ingame siren and the ELS siren. This is a terrible mapping, because the two mappings don't play well together. One takes effect if you press G, the other if you hold (I forget which is which). The ELS siren does not pull cars over; only the GTA siren does that.
  12. They're not in the state of Virginia. DC isn't in Virginia. The DC police operate in DC. They do not operate in Virginia. The District of Columbia is under direct federal administration. It is not part of any state. No state government has any sort of authority in the district. Not only is DC not in Virginia, but no part of DC was ever part of Virginia. When DC was founded, it was established on land ceded from Maryland and Virginia. Before the Civil War, the Virginia part (the bit south of the Potomac) was ceded back to Virginia. The entire city now is on land originally ceded from Maryland. However, DC is not part of any state in any way, shape, or form, and has never been since it was created as a federal district back in the 18th century.
  13. The DC police do not operate in Virginia. Shockingly, they operate in DC. (If you're confused: DC is in no way, shape, or form a part of Virginia. It's a federal district, not part of any state.)
  14. You're not going to get any real life crime in LCPDFR. All it can do is virtual crime. Sorry, but there isn't much real crime that can be done with a game mod :P
  15. I would hope not. Police shouldn't be using any sort of vice.
  16. You could do with a bit more reading, Dillon. He didn't ask about god mode.
  17. All previous versions let you change keymappings in the ini. I don't think this one will be different.
  18. The Memetic Regulation Department reminds you that it cannot officially consider your views until you file Form 9001-4C.
  19. @ModHD The FBI Police probably would respond if you call 911 from an FBI facility (like at the academy in Quantico). FBI Police is a real federal police agency (federal police handle full police duties on and around various bits of federal property, as opposed to special agents who only handle law enforcement). Officers are federal employees, considered FBI support staff (not special agents).
  20. I have plans; my problem is getting around to them :P
  21. FBI Police uses a blue stripe. Also, I'm pretty sure they have no motto. Their role is pretty much entirely protection, not service.
  22. @Andre These sorts of issues are much better handled by reporting the member (bottom right of a profile page has a "Report Member" link) and explaining why you think the accounts are duplicates. We'd rather not clog up unrelated topics with this stuff. You don't need to do it for this particular case, though, because I've sent it up the chain to be handled.
  23. I don't think 10 is possible. I've personally tried police_sign_5, and it didn't work. At all. What's happening with SNT staying on livery 3 is that the call to change livery to livery 4 (which is the 5th livery; computers count from 0) just fails. Because GTA caps out at 4 liveries, it doesn't change livery to a fifth one, but just stays on the last livery it successfully switched to. If you go down, it cycles to 9 from 0, and it stays on livery 0.
  24. They will not spawn with civilians driving. Unless you add them to the cop cars group, they *may* spawn driving along with no ped inside. They won't naturally spawn in general, though. I made a mod specifically to get cars like noose, police3, and police4 to naturally spawn. You can check it out if you want.
