  1. While I do own an Xbox, I don't have a TV, so I'm also going to wait it out for a PC version. (also, I might ask friends if I can play their copies)
  2. Jay: They certainly seem to be designing for a PC version, but I could see them not finishing it if it isn't profitable to do so. Desining for the possibility of PC doesn't mean you actually make it for PC.
  3. To the contrary, I'm saying that neither one is serious. Note what followed - "That is, Rockstar doesn't care about either one". In my case, I'm bored and this is basically the best way I can spend my time.
  4. Well, seeing as it being a fake name doesn't mean Rockstar gives less of a shit, no, I don't think I'd count in the "trolled" group.
  5. Guys? http://gta.wikia.com/Trevor_Phillips I think you've been trolled.
  6. This will EXACTLY counterbalance the pro-PC version petition in Rockstar's eyes. That is to say, they won't care about either one.
  7. It's still a valid question, so long as people don't post video links.
  8. 1: M 2: 17-20 3: 9 4: During the day, I'm generally around a lot of people; when I'm just with one or two, and I don't know them, it feels odd. At night, though, especially if I'm alone, I generally worry when walking around and feel relieved when I see a police officer (because I'm not very likely to get mugged in full view of a cop). So, I think I actually feel better around cops at night than during the day. 5: 6 6: When I'm driving, I try to make sure I obey traffic laws, but when a cop is around, I get *really* nervous about breaking any law. I think this actually probably makes me a less safe driver: I'm just checking my spedometer too often and focusing too much on little details to fall into my driving routine. Even though I know I don't ever go fast enough to get pulled over, I still worry. Again, though, if I were in a strange area with few cars at night, I'd probably feel differently. EDIT: Also, in general, surveys like this (where you ask a huge group and only a few choose to reply) have huge issues of self-selection bias. The people who reply may not even be representative among the people who frequent *this site*, let alone the general population.
  9. In case they turn out to be real, we ask that they not be posted. We're trying to respect Rockstar's desire to avoid spoilers and leaks.
  10. Also, more to the point, RC3 was a release candidate of *0.95* (I had your concern back when .95 was the version being worked on, as I'd rather have had the stable one). The next version will be *1.0*, which is a complete rewrite of 0.95, so RC3 is *not* a 1.0 release candidate.
  11. Out of curioaity, do you still have those mappings?
  12. Nope. Lawsuit from Rockstar, maybe, but it certainly wouldn't be considered criminal.
  13. I think he was lying to you. GTA V was probably not *finished* a few months ago.
  14. No, you can't generally do this. The main wail and (IIRC) yelp tones are the same on all three vehicles. I think the priority tone can be different, though I'm not sure how to mix and match.
  15. Yeah, the logistics of that just don't work.
  16. I think Harper made some preview videos.
  17. Also, maybe what they were going for. Did you try to talk to a manager? Do you still have a proof of purchase?
  18. Why'd they hang up on you? Did they give a reason? If they didn't, call, ask to speak with a manager, and tell them that you were hung up on for no reason.
  19. Why would it be illegal to sell? Illegal for you to use on a car on the street doesn't mean illegal for them to sell. They aren't responsible for making you obey the law.
  20. How is liability on them? You're the one who has to obey the law. It's not their job to police you. Not certain how it is in Canada, but in the US, they'd have zero liability - you're responsible for your own actions.
  21. Light outfitters can often sell stuff it's illegal to apply on a road car. Show cars, for example, can have whatever lights they want.
  22. Did he turn it off *at* the intersection? Here (in the US), even if there's no traffic, they often run as they enter an intersection anyway.
  23. I think Slimory might just know Canadian laws better than a Dutchman. Not sure how it works in the Netherlands, but in the US, it is typically legal to install some sorts of lighting.
