  1. It should only do that the first time the event happens, IIRC. Not sure if its first time per run or first time ever, though. About light modes: I used them frequently in testing with no issues. They generally work; it doesn't work for a few, but you should try it yourself before concluding it doesn't work for you.
  2. LCPDFR has nothing whatsoever to do with car mods. 1.0 vs. 0.95 has no effect. There's something else you're doing wrong.
  3. Nope. 0.95 does not have control customization. The feature is only available in 1.0.
  4. Now that 1.0 is out, I can definitely tell you this: What you get by integrating with the API and inheriting from Callout is full integration into LCPDFR's callout manager. Essentially, you'd be able to stop worrying about handling generic callout issues yourself; your calls would be presented exactly the same as the built-in callouts. In addition, you could integrate a more fine-tuned AI handling of the situations, and would have access to the pursuit system so you could, say, auto-trigger pursuit of a suspect. Basically, it turns the mod from "provides its own scenarios which are made to work around LCPDFR" to "provides additional callouts within LCPDFR". Basically, this is *exactly* the main projected use case for the API. It'd be great if you could integrate it.
  5. It is no longer necessarily the case that bundling something with LCPDFR works better. A breathalyzer implemented with the API would probably work pretty much equally well as one built in.
  6. The Olympics in Atlanta were bombed, resulting in one death and the suspect arrested. The Olympics in Munich were attacked, resulting in the deaths of much of the Israeli team, as well as a West German police officer. Those saying "attacking the Olympics means you've messed with every country at once" should note that the Olympics have been attacked before. Also, suppose Russian separatists attack. Russia may well not want help dealing with separatists - countries are expected to do that themselves. Furthermore, there was already an incident in which separatists targeted an elementary school, resulting in the deaths of over a hundred children. Attacking the Olympics is still less of a galvanizing incident than that.
  7. One thing is don't spam backup or NOOSE keys. When I was playing 0.95, I had to spam keys because backup wasn't so reliable; in 1.0, spamming keys will result in spamming backup units. Each backup call equals one unit dispatched. Also, in 1.0, patrolling units respond to situations much more effectively than in 0.95, so that may contribute as well - it could be that the cops driving by intervene. If that's the cause, it's pretty much by design - police in real life tend to stop and help if they see another cop who wants help.
  8. Please do not bump your topics. People will get around to them when they get around to them; as of today, the devs are shifting their focus from direct frontline support to fixing issues. One of your issues is a known issue that they're working on; another is indicative of missing dependencies; the last one looks to me like something's either not spawning or getting cleared by GTA. Are you using other mods? Read '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> and do what it says. Also, again, don't bump topics. If there's no instant reply, just be patient. Thanks.
  9. Unfortunately, since Microsoft is dropping support for their 12-year-old OS, there's not a whole lot we could do if we wanted to access the full functionality of .NET 4.5. XP counts as an ancient operating system.
  10. Not an issue with LCPDFR. Post in the GTA IV Support section.
  11. Oh. So this is an issue with 0.95? At the moment, 1.0 support is taking priority.
  12. Make sure you remove 0.95 before installing 1.0. You may just have FirstResponse.net.dll still in your scripts folder.
  13. Please post AdvancedHook.log.
  14. @SerdarY: Ctrl+P was removed. To force duty, type "forceduty" into the SHDN console (hit `). @alexanderu: Try double-checking dependencies?
  15. If you did not post your own thread in Support Requests, do so. That is where you will be helped; support is not given outside that section.
  16. Please post AdvancedHook.log and AdvancedHookInit.log.
  17. Post your own thread. Airsoft: Please post a screenshot of the security settings for account "Chris".
  18. What's happening right before it crashes?
  19. @Thompson: Start your own thread. @Vestol: Please post ScriptHookDotNet.log, AdvancedHook.log, and LCPDFR.log.
  20. @policesimulator, start your own thread. @bryan: Please post AdvancedHook.log and LCPDFR.log.
  21. Everyone with your own issues, start your own thread. You do not necessarily have the exact same issue.
  22. Can you take a screenshot of Dependency Walker's results and post it? @everyone else: alexanderu is right. Start your own thread.
