Lolno, spec maps manage reflections, not colours. It's simply a file compression issue, import the base texture as A8R8G8B8 rather than DXT and you'll see...

Now that's low poly. I can see the reflections bending xD

Gotta agree, the star looks "old" style while the yellow is modern. But I like the colour layout.

Can I suggest giving the rim cap a slighter darker tone? I'm sure it'd make it look even better :)
