  1. This is overall pretty nice. Certain features don't appear to be working on my end, particularly the carbine and bullpup being semi auto. they are still full auto after installation. The object penetration also doesn't appear to work from what I've seen.
  2. You may have already figured this out since you posted this a while ago, but this is caused by exceeding the size of the vanilla "vehicles.oac" by adding the custom sirens. If you exceed the size of the default file, it silences all audio in that file.

  6. You need to go into the "agency" file: Once in the agency file, make sure to add the highlighted text below to the LSPD portion as shown: Once you have done that, make sure that when you go on duty, you choose to go on duty as LSPD. If you go on duty as any other agency, it will default to the FIB badge. Currently, it looks like the FIB badge is the only one in game by default, so it seems to default to that for agencies with no badge model defined. Also, if you are using a custom agency.xml in the custom folder, you will need to make the same changes there.
  7. @mkalash Is there any sort of guide on how to use this? I want to use this to edit my ultimate backup files, but just playing with it, all I can figure out how to edit are the default lspdfr 0.4 backup files. Also, I'm not seeing how to import eup menu files. Is there a readme or other instructions somewhere?

Having made an Imperial pack a while ago, these are pretty damn spot on. You did a really good job with the details. The only small thing I noticed from the screenshots is that the sheriff bike still has the Ventura based star, not the Imperial based one. Good job!
Awesome plugin, adds a great level of realism. One suggestion I'd have is to have an option to tie it into custom backup and/or include a provision to allow different police helicopters based on area. For instance, RDE has different police helicopters for Los Santos, Los Santos County, Blaine County, SAHP, and several federal helicopters. Having an LSPD helicopter spawn in Blaine County doesn't look right.
  9. @Albo1125 I also can't get this to work recently. I sucessfully used it for quite some time now, but recently reinstalled it and can't get it work. I tried the troubleshooter but that didn't solve the problem. here is my rage file. Rage log.txt
  10. @Lundy I can't speak for him, but I originally made these textures and he updated the patches to the new RDE ones. I'd made them for both of majorpaine's models with the intent that this one be used with the vest on exclusively, as an outer vest deputy. I personally used it as an added ped on my end, not as sheriff_01, so I just set up custombackup to have them always spawn with the vest on.
  11. Neither of us made the model, just improved textures. You can find the model here. http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/13206-le-revamped/ There are also sheriff and highway patrol ones here http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/13223-le-revamped-2/
Those turned out really nice. The BCSO round patches especially. Those are really hard to get right, unless you are using something like the newer RDE models or hwaycop, where the patches are decals. Just a suggestion, but ventura/bcso use blue/gold rank that matches their patches, not the yellow/black you have. I can pm you some if you want it, just let me know.
  12. @Albo1125 Does this integrate with custombackup at all? If not, is that something you are looking at doing? That would make it a lot more immersive and versatile. I also would love to see a way to modify which units respond to the panic button.
  13. Gotcha. Well I'll just look forward to the next release then. Sounds like plenty of cool stuff is in store.
  14. They are? I just tried putting a stainer livery in the police4 file and it just showed up as all white.
  15. Yeah, that's the other version I was talking about. Glad to hear that's being worked on, you guys are the best. I know you said it's undercover, but any chance you guys would at least template it so if we want to put liveries on it, we can?
  16. That would be great if you guys did that. the lighting setup on the police 4 is perfect too, so I hope you guys use that if you do make this. Actually, the same thing, but for LSSD should be fairly doable as well. just use the front lights from the police 4, and the rear window lights from the LSIA stainer and that would be pretty close to one of the LASD slick top setups (the other version has a full traffic advisor in the back window, similar to the one in the hwaycar, but not exactly).
