  1. EDIT 2 : Fixed. There was an extra file to modify, sheriff+hi.ytd.
  2. I don't know if it happens to anyone else but every time that I present evidences to the court my car vanishes when I come back to the world. Either way I enjoy the new scenario and I can't wait for this to be fixed

  3. It was just me being an idiot I guess. It was most likely some bright indicators on the front that made them look like headlights. The tweak did the trick :) Thanks, I love the mod!

  5. Since I installed this mod all parked vehicles have their lights on at night... What do I need to tweak to fix this?
  6. There's no need for an extra mod, LSPDFR does it: hit N and navigate the menu to get the car options. You can select what the engine does: on, always on and off. It also turns off the lights which is all fine with me since when I park somewhere by night I also want the lights off (and turning on the engine instantly turns them on too). It is just that the radio chatter suddenly goes quiet, which is even not realistic For immersion that would be great to keep the radio running.
  7. Since 0.3 is around the corner, shameless bump in hope it gets some attention/support. It would be great if turning off the engine didn't turn off the radio for those who enjoy sitting on the side of the road.
  8. I often like parking in order to watch the streets or an intersection and it makes sense to me to cut the engine off since we have the option to do it. Except that it also shuts down the (no longer) constant radio chatter. Is it possible in a future update to unbind both features so that we can hear the radio as long as we are inside the vehicle even with our engine off?
  9. I think that the issue with these deadly reinforcements is that they totally ignore the other cops and only target you. So you can get in cover behind your car or any place and there is nothing much to do but wait for backups to kill them because the second you pop your head out of cover you are dead.
  10. Well the difference is that NPCs run over anyone because the AI in this game is retarded and they try to get out of the road block anyway they can.
  11. As far as I know RPH 0.24 causes several issues. I still updated to 0.22 some time ago (kinda forced to it since everyone updated their plugin for 0.22) but yeah honestly I believe that this is a case where the various modders should only support the version of RPH that comes with LSPDFR and if people want to update to the newest version of RPH that's their own problem. Newest updates are not always for the best (you can see this many times with driver updates). If things are working fine with 0.20 there is no need to get a newer version till LSPDFR supports it.

It's quite annoying but officers shooting people running them over also happens outside of the mod in GTA so this is the "normal" behaviour of officers in the game, this is quite a different issue here. As I said I had several instances where I had backup during a pursuit on foot and none of the cops was trying to kill the suspect but the second I handcuffed the person they opened fire. I don't know if this an hostile flag that is removed when they are arrested and that is active again once cuffed or if cuffing just puts an hostile flag on them. I just know that it happens way often, especially during pursuits on foot (probably because this is when I mostly call for backups since it is impossible to catch up on these olympic sprinters). As a side note, this is happening with every cop not just the state police officers who are more trigger happy.
  13. For a time I thought it was a few callouts at fault, something like suspects not being acknowledged as arrested in the code but this is also happening with random peds outside callouts. A traffic stop that ends with a pursuit: you call some backup, you PIT the vehicle, you arrest the suspect and most of times cops will shoot at him/her...
  14. That's the reason why I am fine with LSPDFR being Story Mode only. I still play Online regularly and it is nice not to worry about it because this mod doesn't modify any file and won't get you any red flag when you go online.
  15. Am I the only one or this issue is becoming more and more frequent? I am now very reluctant to call for backups because most of times they will shoot suspects when you arrest them. They don't even want to shoot them before but the second you cuff them they open fire, it's like cuffing suspects puts an hostile flag on them. I have noticed this several times. Not long ago during a pursuit on foot with a couple of other cops for instance, they never tried to shoot the suspect, they even had their tazer ready. As soon as I cuffer her, they opened fire and killer her.

This is getting annoying to the point where I don't bother anymore and just shoot anyone in the legs (to hell RP when the situation is ridiculous to begin with), actually even fatties can run as fast as any other suspects and it is impossible to catch up. A bunch of trained officers who can't catch up on a fat guy? In the end the only suspects running slower than us are women and the few old people.

  18. Hi PieRGud, I am a little confused. Are you able to see the speed in the default view or is it IVDashCam only?
    I am not a "first person" view person (!) when it comes to driving — keyboard+mouse suck in that kind of view — but I am still loving this mod for its immersion. And it actually pushes me to make an effort to improve my driving in first person.
  19. I forgot to keep you informed... So I tried this, officer with his back to the suspect, the camera in their back, I ran the ped search and the officer had the same behaviour, he turned face to the suspect, pushed him, then turned his back again to perform the search in the air.
    Great mod. Loving it when I want to do something different than callouts and just do speed checks.
  20. Thanks, there is no confusion possible now Honestly I am lost lol I am sure that I downloaded my current version before saturday (which was the date that the website said that you updated it to 1.5b) and the version I am using right now doesn't cause a crash when I am using the T key.
  21. Hi! I am not sure if this is better suited to the support forum or general discussions... Is there a way to remove a weapon from the wheel? I know we can add weapons through the console but I can't find a way to get rid of them. When you are on patrol for a while, even if you do your best not to pick up weapons on the ground you still end up as a moving Ammunation and that's pretty annoying to me when I want to quickly access a specific weapon (the limited choice that we get by default, pistol, tazer, shotgun is just what suits me).
