Hey everyone. It's been a long time since I've been active here and on GTA5Mods. I apologize for not providing updates sooner regarding my siren sound mods and stuff. For a while I've been very busy with part-time work at a cleaning company and since my last update here (probably since 2017 if I recall correctly) I kinda grown disinterested on playing GTA5 for the time being mostly due to getting bored after a while. And because I stopped playing GTA 5, until last year at least, I completely forgot about the site here until at sometime this year.
 
So for the time being, I'm retiring from sound modding or at the very least no longer updating my siren sound mods. I will still answer some questions via messages since I had disabled comments on the sound mod showcase videos on my main Youtube channel.
 
That being said, I wish you guys and gals a wonderful holiday weekend and a happy new year. 🙂

Well, here it is. My first fully made siren pack for GTA 5 (well technically my second siren sound pack since I had to delete my Federal Signal Vintage Siren Pack for heavy revisions). Please enjoy! 

I've recently finished tweaking my Code 3 RLS Siren sound mod and I have issues uploading a new version of the mod. Sometimes the progress bar barely budges and sometimes the progress bar finishes but there was an error code 200 or something. 
What should I do at the moment?

Sound pretty badass right? I plan on not only making a Whelen X-Ecutor mechanical wail siren mod standalone for GTA 5 but I also plan on making a Whelen Alpha Q siren mod as well! =D
Expect those fire truck siren mods to be out by next week.

I loved that so much. There should be no borders created by wicked politics or whatever between all men and women around the place that protect people and the law, because they all do great service and all put their lives at risk, and I like our police shows the same feelings. 

The problem is that ISIS isn't just in Syria. It's all over the middle east, so we'd need to invade or re-invade a lot of countries to get rid of them. And although that would take out the ISIS threat militarily, these attacks are fueled by the base principals of their religion. It's not extreme to believe that apostates should be killed, or that genital mutilation is acceptable in order to prevent infidelity (although it turns out that infections from these mutilations can actually kill the women or render them infertile), or that approximately 72 pure women (implying virginity) with extreme lust await those who sacrifice their life in the name of their god. These beliefs go well beyond the borders of Syira and Iraq, as well. To give an example, if you were to go to Tunisia; considered a shining example of a moderate Muslim country, you can interview people who hang out in the cafes and marketplaces and ask their opinions on ISIS. The majority of them say they aren't joining ISIS, but they are "big fans" of what they're doing. These people, these "big fans" are the next recruits for whatever the new Islamic extremist groups are coming up on the horizon if ISIS is destroyed.

To clarify before somebody goes off on a "don't discriminate against a minority" tangent; everyone needs to understand that there is a difference between Muslims as people, and Islam. Islam is not a race, its a religion. A religion with about 1.5 billion followers, I might add. And unfortunately, the version of the Qu'ran that Osama Bin Laden preached is a very straight forward interpretation of it. The Old Testament had arguably equally violent books, but Christianity and Judaism is no longer being practiced in that manner. It took hundreds of years for that to happen, but unfortunately we now live in an age with nuclear weapons, which could eradicate entire countries at the push of a button. These acts of martyrdom and spreading religious land claims over races they see as inferior by force need to stop, and it's going to start when reformists in Muslim countries get everyone's attention and get them to grasp the concept of reforming the faith for 2015. There are hundreds and hundreds of millions of non-violent people who practice Islam that don't condone the acts of terrorism we see today, but simply standing there and saying "we do not approve" isn't doing enough.

Ideology influences behavior, and this is a religious war. A religious war was declared on "the west", us, in 2001 by Osama Bin Laden, and despite the swift military defeat of Iraq and Afghanistan, this war is not over by a long shot.

I've recently updated my Canadian Siren Sound Pack and I wanted to re-work/re-sample/re-tweak the Code 3 RLS siren for the pack.
Do you think this would be the right source to take siren samples from? And I wish to sample the wail/yelp/hyper-yelp of the real siren and not the fake demos from the code 3 website. =T

It looks fairly good. lt'll run GTA 5 without any issues regarding performance. =)

Since a lot of people aren't have such luck on getting some of my sirens mod to work without muting the audio vehicle archives, I plan on making a Canadian siren sound pack in the following weeks for those that wish to simply just have the best of sirens in one package. 
 
However which sirens do you think should be in this pack? =3

I was thinking a D&R intimidator for the main police cars, the Code 3 Scorpion siren for the Sheriff Granger cars, the (lower-pitched) e-q2b for the fire trucks (although I might have to shorten the wail loop), Code 3 RLS for the FIB vehicles, Whelen Cencom for the EMS Ambulance, and a maybe a Federal Signal PA500 for the police bikes. ^^

Expect the siren pack to be work in progress in a few days.

Unfortunately if you want to play the statistics game with race, it goes both ways. According to a study done by a major news network (you can go Google it yourself, it's 1am and I'm not going to dig it up); young African American males are twice as likely to commit a murder than their Caucasian counterparts. They also tend to live in poorer neighborhoods that are near schools that sometimes have lower educational standards. Those are facts;  you can correlate those however you like, if at all. I happen to attend college in one of the worst cities for heroin trafficking in the United States and it's predominantly Hispanic (87%+, mostly Dominican, some Puerto Rican). Oddly enough, despite the fact that all or nearly all of the dealers are Hispanic, a large amount of the addicts who commit crimes to get money to ensure they get their heroin fix for the day; are Caucasian. Moreover; the school I go to, as a result of its location, is majority Hispanic, but I'd be willing to lay down money on the table on a bet that none of the people sitting in my classes are selling or buying smack on the streets when class is over. I think it's the town itself that's poisonous, not necessarily the individuals. But these residents are caught in a vicious cycle because of it. The town produces bad people, who continue to populate it with more bad people. The only way to improve it is with good police work and the introduction of good citizens to the area to push out the bad ones.

It doesn't matter what colour your skin is, if you charge a police officer after he's already had a violent altercation with you you're going to pay the price.

The Whelen Alpha is looking good so far. In fact, I'll be releasing the siren mod in a few minutes since the looping of the wail and the yelp are perfect (although the sound quality isn't perfect). 
 
They sound a bit too loud but then again Whelen sirens in general are loud as hell.

Ironically enough I already have the Whelen Alpha siren mod in progress for the Ambulance sirens in the game.

This is a work in progress of the Federal Signal Touchmaster Delta siren mod for the FIB vehicles in GTA 5. Make sure to make some backup of your vehicles folder and the vehicles.oac file before installing this siren mod. Also make sure to have the latest version of OpenIV and make sure to run the program as administrator.
There will be an actual sampled version of the Touchmaster Delta coming soon so version two of this siren mod will be available later this week (as of September 17, 2015).

Federal Signal Touchmaster Delta Siren Sound Mod (FIB Version) - WIP.rar

Well actually 2GB of GDDR5 video memory will run just fine on medium-highish settings as long as you lower anti-aliasing a little bit. It just takes a few tweaking with the video settings is all. Remember GTA V has loads of video settings and it will even run on some low-end PCs depending what specs you have and what settings you have. I have an Intel Celeron G1840 paired up with the Radeon HD 7770 1GB of GDDR5 and the game runs on normal settings at 900p with 40-45 frames-per-second on average which is fine for me to be honest. Jim's specs at the moment will probably still run GTA V without much problems since the Geforce GTX 660 will still perform good even on games like Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain around medium settings.
