Soon to make a Canadian Sirens Pack! Any suggestions?
This is my final WIP version of the Canadian Sirens Sound Pack before I finally release it. I've added in a couple more tones for personal preferences or with different tastes and I've included the original police bike siren just in case that the Federal SIgnal PA500 doesn't sound that good at all. There are a few sirens such as the e-q2b and the Code 3 Mastecom B (or Code 3 RLS) that have been re-sampled and re-tweaked respectively. The siren pack will be released in the next two weeks. =) Canadian Sirens Sound Pack WIP 2.rar

Code 3 RLS Siren Mod (Hi-Low Version Included!)
Well....it's basically just that. Differing two-pitched tone of the hi-low. Kinda like this one. =P https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqAuG0Dn_Dk

Favourite Siren Sound Mod(s)?
The Federal Signal Touchmaster Delta siren is pretty cool. =3 My favourite sirens are the Code 3 Mastercom B, D&R Intimidator, Whelen Cencom, old school Federal Signal sirens, and the Federal Signal SS2000.

Favourite Siren Sound Mod(s)?
I've recently published a D&R Magnum siren mod for the sheriff grangers and I noticed that are not a lot of siren mods for GTA 5 compared to GTA 4 siren mods. However considering that I've been making a couple of siren mods to fill the void, I plan on using LSPDFR in a few months after getting GTA 5 via steam for the PC. Out of all the siren mods for GTA 5, what are some of your favourites to play with and to use for any emergency vehicles in game? =3

Soon to make a Canadian Sirens Pack! Any suggestions?
Funny enough, I already have the Whelen 295SDA1 which sounds similar to the Whelen Cencom Gold but has a dual-tone available. However for the ambulance in the game I didn't use the dual-tone wail as once trying it out in the game sounded a bit off. I plan on making a Carson SA-361 siren for either the ambulance or the police cars in the siren pack.

D&R Magnum Siren Mod

- Version 1.0.0
Note: The updated O.P.P D&R Intimidator police siren mod for GTA 4 belongs to Laikmuay. However I did some very minor edits and tweaks for the siren sound mod to work in GTA 5. I also added a reverb effect on the sirens so it'd sound similar to the D&R Magnum or at least sounding similar to Toronto's Emergency Response Unit EMS SUVs sirens. So all credit goes to him. This is a D&R Intimidator siren sound mod to replace the sheriff SUV sirens in the game. Other tones such as the yelp and priority are included in their respective folders. 0x0E0DA7BC - Granger Primary (wail) 0x16E74B3E - Granger Secondary (yelp, hyper-yelp, or priority/super hyper-yelp) Be sure to download the latest version of OpenIV and run it as administrator. Also be sure to backup the vehicles and vehicles.oac file and folder respectively before installing this siren mod. Preview: 1 – Run OpenIV, Select GTA V for Windows. However be sure to locate the folder where the game have been installed. 2 – Find audio file you want to edit by going into x64 folder 3 - Then click on audio folder where you should see one folder and two files. 4 - Click on the sfx folder and then select and click on the file: RESIDENT.rpf 5 - Upon opening the RESIDENT.rpf file, you should see 16 items shown. One of them is the vehicles.awc file. 6 - Right click on vehicles.awc and export to openFormats (.oac) to any folder you like (e.g downloads folder). 6.1* If you have 7-zip or winrar, create a new .rar and rename it to something like vehicles_backup.rar. 6.2* Then copy the unmodded vehicles folder and the vehicles.oac to the .rar file (e.g vehicles_backip.rar) just in case something goes wrong regarding file/folder size of the vehicle folder/vehicle.awc file. 7 - Extract the vehicles folder from the .rar file to the same folder that was exported in. 8 – Afterwards, go to edit mode in OpenIV. There will be a warning upon editing mode so be careful. 9 - Import the .oac file by either draging the file to OpenIV or go to new and click on Import openFormats to select the .oac file then click on open. 10 - Click on ok 11 - Click on edit mode again (if you are in edit mode already) to exit edit mode. 12 - To ensure everything works, click on the vehicles.oac file twice and click on either 0x0E0DA7BC or 0x16E74B3E to see if the files were successfully replaced. 13 - Exit OpenIV and play GTA V. *Optional but necessary to do. Soon to make a Canadian Sirens Pack! Any suggestions?
I've managed to create the siren pack that's currently in progress just in case some of the audio files require a bit of tweaking. Feel free to try out this siren pack WIP and please provide some feedback so I can re-work, re-sample, etc whenever necessary. =3 Canadian Sirens Sound Pack WIP.rar

Like I said the D&R intimidator is nearly the same as the PA500 but I'll see what I can do to sample the siren. =3

Soon to make a Canadian Sirens Pack! Any suggestions?
Since a lot of people aren't have such luck on getting some of my sirens mod to work without muting the audio vehicle archives, I plan on making a Canadian siren sound pack in the following weeks for those that wish to simply just have the best of sirens in one package. However which sirens do you think should be in this pack? =3 I was thinking a D&R intimidator for the main police cars, the Code 3 Scorpion siren for the Sheriff Granger cars, the (lower-pitched) e-q2b for the fire trucks (although I might have to shorten the wail loop), Code 3 RLS for the FIB vehicles, Whelen Cencom for the EMS Ambulance, and a maybe a Federal Signal PA500 for the police bikes. ^^ Expect the siren pack to be work in progress in a few days.

Federal Signal PA-300 Siren (D&R Intimidator Version) [Revised]
I do have something similar to this siren such as the D&R Intimidator o.p.p (Ontario Provincial Police) siren for the main police cars.

Realistic American Sirens
There is one sheriff suv siren mod that works fairly successful and that is the older Federal Signal PA-300 (the one that sounds like the lower toned/pitch D&R intimidator sirens but with a longer wail) siren mod that I made. Obviously the wail had to be shortened to make it sound a tad faster-paced just like the recent D&R intimidator sirens but in lower pitch and a different style of wail.

D&R Intimidator Siren (O.P.P Police Version)
Thank you. I know there was the actual D&R intimidator siren in GTA 5 for the Sheriff Grangers but it didn't quite match up as the real one. =3

Whelen Howler Siren
It's close but the startup of the Whelen's wail is different compared to the NYPD's version of the Federal Signal Smart Siren Rumbler.

This is a Whelen Howler siren sound mod to replace the Ambulance sirens in the game. I quite enjoy the Whelen Howler as it's basically a Whelen Cencom with a rumbler effect and it sounds awesome! It fits quite well with certain fire trucks and even some ambulances (and paramedics SUVs). =3 0x1C98C4D5 - Ambulance Primary (Wail) 0x144C8602 - Ambulance Secondary (Yelp) Be sure to download the latest version of OpenIV and run it as administrator Preview: 1 – Run OpenIV, Select GTA V for Windows. D&R Intimidator Siren (O.P.P Police Version)

Warning There are reports that certain audio archives have been muted in game regardless of rather the sound mods were installed properly or not. To ensure that the audio archives for vehicles won't be muted in game make sure that the vehicle.oac file or the vehicle.awc file doesn't exceed over 15.75 MB in size (you can check the size of the vehicle.awc file in OpenIV under RESIDENT.rpf) and make sure that the siren sound audio files have the appropriate bitrate/sample-rate/etc (32000hz, 16bit mono, 512kbps) for the vehicles.awc file. Hopefully this will resolve the issues regarding muted sirens in game. If not then please let me know so I can farther troubleshoot this. Other than that, please enjoy this siren sound mod! Note: The original Ontario Provincial Police (old) D&R Intimidator siren mod for GTA 4 belongs to Laikmuay. However I did some very minor edits and tweaks for the siren sound mod to work in GTA 5. Sorry about that. I did my best to balance out loudness and quality of the wail. =(
