  1. Hmm, I've got a couple of those for various models. I should upload those...
  2. Yeah I think that's a good idea, even if we can change them on the fly. It should make creating new patterns much easier, and it should make life easier for ELS-type mods. This is, of course, coming as someone who's just a consumer, so I'm not demanding anything. But it sure would be nice :) That's not possible until the RPH updates are out. But once that happens, yeah that should be easy to do.
  3. That works too. So one side would be 2852170240 and the other would be 11141290. The first one is on first, and starts on.
  4. I've got a couple, but unfortunately they pretty much have to be customized per vehicle since the lighting setups won't be the same. I'll post them here though... http://pastebin.com/kp4Q8YPt The OSHP one is a tiny bit buggy (it's not symmetrical on the edge of the lightbar) because I pulled a stupid, but I've been pretty happy with them. I'll probably refine them later and might put them up for general download. My favorites are the one for BxBugs' charger and the one for the Taurus (IIRC it's F5544's). Some of them don't look great because the model creators did strange stuff with the sirens (because of the default light setups probably) I'd be happy to create one for you if you let me know what you're looking for and the model. Since almost all the modelers have different setups, creating generic ones is a real pain
  5. Alrighty, I'll keep that in mind! I've been working on a bit of reskinning too - reskin the crappy-looking radios ingame into something better looking (the EFJ 5100s are easiest for me for obvious reasons). It's nowhere near release quality yet, but that's something I might release later down the road. It's easier with the EFJ radios cause they fit the form factor - to get an actual Motorola radio you'd probably have to remodel the radio, which is something I have no experience with at all.
  6. Yeah I'm enjoying working on it (it's a slow process though, and I've been super busy with other stuff too) - It takes a bit of work to get it right. I probably don't have the best equipment for it either :) I do like the EFJs - I collect radios so these came straight from eBay :) - I've got quite a collection of them that I use for ham radio and CAP stuff.

  8. Happened again - caught it this time though. I think the victim disappeared - it would explain why it's crashing too... Here's the log this time... 9. Development Update: I've gotten down the perfect settings for my conversion - I'm in the process of it now. I've found just the right level so it sounds about the same loudness-wise without losing the P25 digital-nes! I'm planning on adding a few background sounds and maybe a little echo (how many times have you heard an officer key up and get loads of feedback cause he's right next to his mobile :) - It happens all the time here) I'm thinking I'll leave the dispatch MDC tones in, unless they sound really terrible. My "canon" reasoning will be that the system is in the process of switching to P25 on an old analog system and some parts of the system are still using old Motorola HT-1000s or something :) Here's an example of the new settings - I think it sounds pretty nice :) ATTENTION_ALL_SWAT_UNITS_02.wav
  10. It's what I do IIRC he was transported away due to ArrestManager. So he may have despawned due to that... It was right after successfully PITing him, arresting, and calling for transport. I think the transport had picked him up by that point too, and I was on my way back to check on the victim. Indeed. It would actually be kinda nice if we could adjust the interval, or make it so you only get (frequent) checks when you're on a callout (like in real life) - that would increase my immersion by a LOT!
  11. Got another one :/ Happened at the end of a road rage pursuit... 12. Thanks! I've got another one for you too, once you figure that out. I'm getting random LSPDFR crashes that seem to be related to Code3Callouts - here's the relevant part of the log file. 13. It's "Officer not responding". I also get the "Dispatch will assume you're in trouble" notification before the call. It appears to happen both with OK and help responses.
  14. It doesn't appear that dispatch understands your response on checks - I've mapped the check keyboard shortcut, and I press it, Dispatch says "10-4", then a few seconds later, I get a code 99 call and a unit spawns near me. Is there a bug or am I doing something wrong lol?
  15. Yeah I'm just gonna do the more popular stuff and probably mods at request. Obviously vanilla LSPDFR too... I'm not sure how I want to handle the paging MDC-like tones you get when dispatch keys up. Realistically, those shouldn't happen on P25
  16. Well I'm actually just using a line out via the mic. The input is being handled by my speakers into the transmit radio. Most (all?) of the Motorola shoulder mics have a 3.5mm jack that can be used by a line-in on the computer Here is that part of the setup:
  17. Hey guys - so I'm going to be starting my first ever mod here... I'm going to retrofit the entire "PoliceScanner" audio folder in P25 Digital And of course the best way to do that.... is to pipe it through an actual radio :) Here's the setup I will be using: Two E.F. Johnson 5100 handhelds on a simplex channel - one will be transmitting the raw audio, the other will be recieving it and piping it back into the computer I've attached a demo to this post - Hope you guys like it! 18. I live in Dayton, so I can add a few comments here - The grey bar feels a little too thick on the sides, I think the real ones are a little thinner. The lightbars are usually only red and blue on the ends - how far it extends appears to vary by car. The shield also seems a little low. Of course all those comments are very subjective, but since I live in Dayton, I think I have a feel for what their cars look like. Where'd you get that one from? It's pretty good looking too
