[DEV] Motorola APX 6500
This is correct (although XTL-5000 O5 HLN6912A heads are APX-compatible) Also, the APX O5 heads (G442AJ) don't say what model they are, they just say "O5". They're compatible with any of the APX 6500 or higher radios (6500/7500/8500), and backwards-compat to XTL-5000s, and several different sub-configurations there (dual head, dual radio, etc).

Dispatch Checkup Script
As far as I was aware, it should work for LSPDFR's most recent version. If I get a chance I'll look at updating it.

Do US police have panic buttons?
If enabled, it is the orange button on their radio. Every radio that's used in public service has one, although the system must be properly configured to support it. Some RSMs (I believe all of the new Motorola APX accessories) will have one on there as well. Additionally, there are various other forms of activation that can be enabled on a specific subscriber, such as horizontal sensor/man down or remote emergency button. Basically whether or not it will work, and what happens when you press it, is entirely up to the programming in the subscriber unit and the setup of the system. All systems, even analog conventional, are capable of some form of emergency call/alert if properly configured, but often they are not.

San Andreas Record Data Access System (SARDAS)
I'm afraid I'll need to know what exactly the type that could not be loaded is to solve that - it should give you more information than what you posted.

That's a bug I've hit a few times, and I can't figure out why. I think it has something to do with invalid vehicles or something being spawned, but it's so tough to track down...

Dispatch Checkup Script
As far as I know, the API required doesn't currently exist..... but I just asked Parks to add one :) As far as the other issue - I can't reproduce it. Mind sending me the config and the log when you've got custom phrases?

Yeah, I'm looking into that being an issue now - I don't use the phrases feature, so I wouldn't know if it's broken. Custom Backup API support is actually already there - if CustomBackup is installed, it will call for Code 3 backup via that rather than LSPDFR :)

It should still work fine - works on my install. I haven't updated to latest yet, but nothing I use has changed so it should still work...

Right - the UI is definitely something I need to work on - it's very WIP right now. The port issue is due to the plugin not unloading cleanly (cause LSPDFR crashed). I'll see if there's any way to work around that, but it's annoyingly difficult to handle a crash like that.

@Officer6430 you need to extract the client from the .zip file. It won't work if it's not extracted.

I don't think you can, unfortunately. LSPDFR usually doesn't allow configuration of stuff like that.

Well...... the point of this is for it to be out of game, specifically on another computer :) If you want in-game, computer+ does this and more - this version is specifically designed to be used out-of-game to enhance roleplay experience if you have a spare laptop lying around or something

Heh, nope, but I did forget to update the version string in the client. Oh well. That warning won't hurt anything

Figured out the problem @Markadaliah, @Bouwen, and anyone else who was having issues. One of my dependencies changed their API on me, so when I updated it changed behavior slightly. I should have a fixed version up today.

Yeah, for some reason, some configurations are causing an error I never saw when building it. So I'll have to figure out what's causing that

The best way to figure out if it's your firewall is to disable the firewall on both the client and gaming PC , and try it then. Obviously this is a terrible idea in practice, and once you've figured out if it's the firewall's fault you should turn it back on, but that's the easiest way to do it.

Ow. I knew I shouldn't have made that window resizable. Uh, let me see if I can reproduce that issue, I think I have an idea. Yeah, so you need to extract the client - if it's in the .zip folder it won't work

That... may be a feature on the board ;) There are 3 different downloads with the different parts of the app. Client contains only the client (the program that you run on the computer), plugin contains only the plugin (you install it just like any LSPDFR plugin), unified has both of them. If you're not sure which one you want, just grab unified. To install it, you need to copy the files I say to in the README into your GTA plugins folder, just like with any other LSPDFR plugin (like a callout pack). Then, you run the client application on the other computer (or your local one if you don't have another one). Depending on your network configuration, you might be able to use the "search" button on the client to find the computer running GTA. Go on-duty in LSPDFR - it loads just like any other plugin. You can launch the client at any time, but it won't be able to actually do anything unless you go on duty. Once you're on duty, you can log in and use it. Did you extract the client completely, including the DLL files? Those are required, and it will probably crash if they're not in the same folder as it.

OOoooh, that makes a lot more sense. Yeah, for some reason, attempting to log in via that ip locally causes it to throw an error (which, of course, I don't handle properly). It sounds like either your laptop or computer is blocking the network access via firewall - make sure the ports are open, and you can temporarily turn the firewall off to make sure that's the issue.

You sure the search window isn't opening on another screen or something? It should always appear. The login issue is caused by using search to find your IP if it's on your local computer. If it is (if you're running SARDAS on the same computer as GTA), you should use "localhost" or "127.0.0.1" instead.

Yeah, you start the game, go on duty, then SARDAS should be accessible from any computer on the same network. If you're lucky, the "search" function will work, but it might be blocked by some firewalls.
