Are there currently any vehicle modelers who are willing to release their model if they won't be locked?

Featured Replies

Just wondering, this whole thing is absurd and very greedy.

There are modelers out there that have had their stuff pretty much near finished for weeks now but they won't release because they're afraid they won't get credit. That's right, they won't get IMAGINARY non monetary credit. Or they'll have their work stolen.

OH WAIT, most of their models are actually from other games such as Need for speed, driver, etc. so not entirely their work.

#1. That idea goes entirely against the whole spirit of MODDING communities.

#2. If you're not going to release anytime soon if ever, then stop teasing the community with your exclusive bullshit, pardon my french but I'm sick and tired of it. Keep it to yourself.

#3. Quite frankly, if you make mods and models for recognition and internet fame and credit, PLEASE POST IN HERE so that I know not to download your models if you ever do release. I prefer to enjoy the works of people who made that mod/product with the goal of it being to be ENJOYED by the community they love (cough]Finkone[cough).

Listen buddy, we aren't paid to model for you spoiled brats alright, The original modelers were paid money by LARGE companies. The fact that we do it for free is enough already. Make your own mods buddy. We don't want people to steal our mods because we spent lots of OUR time working on these models.

I can see this turning into a flame war, it's already starting to by the looks of it. Because of that, i'm closing this.
