This depends entirely on the state, but city police handle incorporated areas (basically areas owned by a city), sheriffs/county police handle unincorporated areas and cities that contract policing out to them, and highway patrol/state police stick to highways and in more rural areas assist local agencies, since some areas may have as little as 2 officers from combined agencies over a county during some nights.

Do you think you could include lighting in the rear of the vehicle? I do like the idea of simplistic setups, but in modern times most agencies have some sort of additional rear warning lights. EDIT: NVM. Just saw the CVPI

Has anyone been able to get PoliceK9 to work? I copied the Police5 lines in carvariations and vehicles, then replaced all instances of Police5 (except handling) with PoliceK9, but I still get told it's an invalid model.

The only way I know of for this is to attach the helmet directly to the ped. For an example, check Yard1's SWAT models.

Honestly it would be best. Ridgerunner is making a police K9 and it would look better with that version instead of just an extra. -
Is the K9 going to be an extra so that people can use K-9 mods with the in game dogs instead of your model?

Do any of the CVPI's actually have LED spotlights? As far as I know, that is fairly recent technology not really present on anything pre-2012. -

Revolver rounds. Back before speed loaders were common issue each pouch held 6 loose rounds. I think they can be used with speed loaders too, but I'm not sure.

Just add it in. GTA V uses the most recent dlc.

Go to (mods folder or main gta folder depending on what you use)/update/x64/dlcpacks/rde/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles/vehicles.rpf. Additional RDE DLC's are in the other folders under dlcpacks. Good luck trying to find enough ELS cars to fill all the slots, I'm going through the same issue right now.

Now that RDE is out, any plans on working on a Federal Pack like you mentioned in your DHS tahoe video, or even just releasing the the non-els tahoe now? -
Go to (mods folder or main gta folder depending on what you use)/update/x64/dlcpacks/rdeemergency/dlc.rpf/x64/levels/gta5/vehicles/emergencyvehicles.rpf. Import Lt. Caine's vehicles there, because as of now, the game is overwriting all previous dlcpacks with the rde ones.
