[WIP] 2006 Hummer H1
Thanks! I'm thinking I'll have to make the front windows a little bigger, make the hood shorter, and change the steps slightly.

[WIP] 2006 Hummer H1
I did ask yesterday actually, but I have received no response, so for right now, it's a no. But I think I can edit the shape of the one I currently have to make it look more like a bearcat.

[WIP] 2006 Hummer H1
So I haven't been able to obtain an actual Bearcat yet (If anyone knows a game or place that has one, pm me) but I found something that is a knockoff that I think could work with some tweaking. What do you guys think @SeaHawk14 @BogdanM @officerAMR ?

[WIP] 2006 Hummer H1
Ah thanks! I was planning on making the Hummer to mostly replace the Army Jeeps but I could definitely make a LE version with lights as well.

[WIP] 2006 Hummer H1
Well, seeing that most of the 'go-to' police vehicles have been made already (CVPI, Charger, Taurus, etc..) I might make a good firetruck and ambulance. Bearcat is something I definitely want to do. And I might still possibly make some law enforcement but most likely release them unlocked, because I've seen quite a few 'go-to' police cars and they've been locked.

[WIP] 2006 Hummer H1
So, I was far into the process of converting a high quality 2010 Ford Taurus, but then a 2012 was released so I figured I should try something else. So I'm making a military Hummer H1 to replace the Army Jeep that I despise so much. Here's where I am so far.. The final version will have the same desert camo as the current army jeeps. Possibly will have a gun on top as an extra. Feel free to comment if you have questions, suggestions, or comments.

Car-ception (Car inside another Car) Possible? Or Nah?
So, like the long title says, I'm trying to find a way to put one car inside a larger car. I got the idea when I saw one of the Packer's extras, which was a car ramp. So it only makes sense that you should be able to drive a car up a ramp and into the back of a semi-truck (Kinda of like the old Knight Rider). Anyways, so far nothing I've done works. I drive up the ramp fine, but even with the back doors wide open, it acts like there's a wall. I've made sure there is no collision mesh in the way and I believe that the wall collision meshes are far enough away that they shouldnt be a problem. I was just wondering if anyone has previously done this before and if it's actually possible?

Removing Tahoe emblems on zmodeler
I highly suggest using Perspective view, and using Selected Mode. Perspective mode is like the 3D view, except you can see the polygon lines. When there is no Modify tool selected, you can rotate around the 3D car and select the parts you want too delete very easy.

I Just Bought Caprice PPV 3D Model - Help Me
I'm sorry to say, but that model is definitely not worth $35. You can get better and free models from games such as Driver: San Fran, Need for Speed Series, and others. Here is a pretty in depth tutorial by me about converting a vehicle. I havent uploaded the last part yet, but it'll take a little while to reach that part anyways if you follow along. (Check out the first Useful Information spoiler under the first video, there are some links to sites with free models and better paid ones too.

Vintage Police Cars
Hello everyone, Unfortunately, I am going to a military college in just a few days and that will make it impossible for me to work on these vehicles anymore since I won't have access to my desktop. So, if anyone would like what I've got so far and wants to finish it then send me a PM and I'll send you everything you need. All I ask is that you give me a little credit because I've put countless hours into these. The Smith Custom is pretty much done, the only thing not done is the light on top because I never did find someone that knew about ELS rotating lights. As for the Culver Empire, its not as close to being finished but it's mapped, drive able in-game, and the heirarchy should be pretty much all set. I think the collision mesh is all that needs to be done and some minor shader editing. The Smith Custom also has a wonderful handling line which was custom made by Sgt. Kanyo. (All hail Kanyo)

Boat Patrol
That'd be really neat and I'd definitely use it. I'd love to pull up next to a tug boat or something and board it.
-
Boat Patrol
I don't think LCPDFR includes a system to preform 'traffic stops' on boats, but I could be mistaken. (I would love that though). As for ELS, the ELS should work as long as you add it to your SlotControl.

[Tutorial] How to Convert a 3D Model to GTA IV Vehicle
Uploaded Part 4 which included the new Intro and hopefully it should be higher quality. I'm not sure if it's just me or not.. In Chrome the player says my videos are 1080 but the video is just black, but in Firefox it says it's 360. Edit: Part 5 is up

[Tutorial] How to Convert a 3D Model to GTA IV Vehicle
Uploaded Parts Two & Three. Part Four should be ready in a day or two. Oddly the only viewing quality that I see is 360p even though it should be HD... I hope YouTube fixes that soon.

Vintage Police Cars
Hello everyone, just wanted to let everyone know that this isn't dead. I've finished that car and Sgt. Kanyo was even nice enough to make a wonderful handling line for it. The only thing holding me back from releasing is that darn rotating light. If anyone knows about rotating ELS, please pm me so that I can fix this thing.

[Video] How to Convert 3D Model to GTA IV Car
Introduction: Hello everyone! Welcome to my first ever tutorial. My goal is to run through, step by step, the basics of converting a car model from another game into a GTA IV vehicle which will be fully functioning. I will be linking my videos below as I make them so at the moment, this tutorial is a work in progress but I am planning on completing the whole tutorial in about 5-8 parts (hopefully). Please feel free to leave any and all comments, questions, or critique. I look forward to helping everyone and learning from some good constructive criticism. Notes: The video tutorials will start at a point at which you should already have your vehicle model by either ripping it from a game, or simply downloading it off a website. You will need zModeler and a working copy of GTA IV. Please refer to here for the full tutorial:
