Did Normal US Police Officers have SMG
in some dpts, motor cops will use smg's, since it can fit in their saddlebags. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/12/29/lapd-issue-hk-mp7s-motorcycle-k9-patrol/

ELS Wont work
by the last pattern do you mean the last one used or the last numbered one? if its the latter then just open the .xml file for that car in the els folder and make these edits: <PresetPatterns> <Lstg2 Enabled="false" Pattern="0" /> <Lstg3 Enabled="false" Pattern="0" /> </PresetPatterns> change that to <PresetPatterns> <Lstg2 Enabled="true" Pattern="put the pattern # here" /> <Lstg3 Enabled="true" Pattern="put the pattern # here" /> </PresetPatterns> this will work on secl, prml and wrnl. you dont have to have both lstg2 and 3 changed, you can have one set to true and the other to false if you wanted. els's configs and trainer's configs are separate so saving the car would only save stuff like vehicle mods, paints extras etc but not els patterns.

Police Lightbars incorrect places
the latest update most probably overwrote the necessary edits needed for the cars above to work correctly, all you need to do is do the edits needed in the latest version of the .dat files. the file page should tell you what edits are needed and where.

Small issue with ELS strobes
could you possibly link the files you are having problems with?

Here we go!
yes, but lods are calculated from the camera in rockstar editor, not where the player is in the scene. so the camera may have been far enough away to use the L1

I bet this guy runs (I)
hes talking more about the technicalities of the model itself. policesco's fusion has a normal.yft that is 16mb large, and a hi thats 8mb large. L0 is 344k polys L1 is 344k L2 is 320k and there is no L3 or L4. heuuu's fusions is just as bad L0 is 341k L1 is 324k and there is no L2-4 now it may run fine for you, but once u call for backup, or go near a police station where there are multiple cars that puts a big strain on the game and computer. so irregardless of personal taste, these are really bad car models as a point of reference, most proper models usually dont exceed 150k.

yes, mine are very different, i try to get what i feel is the most realistic. but to each their own edit: to clarify, i dont use radiancev its just something i thought you may like.

vis.dat
theres a big difference between "bright" "dull, bland" and "supernova" if u want bright then i would suggest using radiancev. if theres a light thats not bright with that then its a problem with the car, not the visuals

Made the mirrors actually mirror stuff . ill see if i can get rid of the fish-eye effect, but even if i cant i think its much better than no mirror at all.

Late night felony stop

i still need to reduce the size and intensity of the coronas, as right now they overpower the emissive mesh. i am also most probably going to replace the halogen emis textures with one thats actually halogen.
