  1. I meant i have little knowledge about motherboards in general. However i can say that Intel is less resource demanding than AMD. Gigabyte is a good brand, i have had a few things from them in the past and they were good. however that motherboard is probably not the best, i had one similar to that (H61M-USB3H to be exact) and it was pretty crap for gaming. I'd stay clear from Micro-ATX boards as they're not built for much. If you can, i'll suggest saving up to get a new motherboard, preferablly one built for gaming which will cost you couple hundred dollars. what you have now will last and you'll be able to GTA 4 with but it's not a great board. i'll recommend an MSI branded board, i recently purchased one and it is great, http://www.newegg.com/ - they have boards for cheap aswell. definitely a place to visit if you're looking to buy parts
  2. Seems ok, although i'm uncertain about your motherboard and graphics card. the rest of your specs are decent. but i can't confirm if your motherboard and graphics card are good because i have little knowledge about them
  3. you're running the game as admin? normally with Steam games they don't run as admin unless you start Steam as admin.
  4. It should do, your processor and RAM would be great. mine was 2.70GHz and i had little lag with ENB so you should be able to run it on high with ENB (like i said before you might have the smallest lag.. but it should be un-noticeable). i can't confirm with the motherboard aspect since i'm not that great with motherboards. also since ENB/ICEnhaancer mods do like to use power you might need to upgrade your PSU to a 750W i'm not sure with that since i don't know much about PSU's either.
  5. There is really nothing wrong with buying a pre-built computer. there are people who don't know how to build a computer (including myself) so they buy a pre-built computer (although i buy the parts and pay someone to build it for me). You're paying extra.. but it actually works out the same amount as a DIY computer since the extra is only the cost of paying the guys who built it. if he chooses to buy a pre-built one doesn't make him lazy.
  6. GTA 4 steam version works perfectly fine, exactly like the way GTA 4 retail version works. GFWL doesn't effect anything (that i have noticed). I have owned and played both retail/disc and Steam version of GTA 4.. there is no difference other than Steam updates the game to 1.0.7.0 automatically.
  7. Nobody said it was impossible. it's possible to do, but you'll be limited to what you could do. so limited in fact that it'll be really easy to complete because you'll have 1 facial expression for each thing (one for the truth, one for lying etc) and it'll get r eally boring after a while.
  8. I ran a NVIDIA 750 GTX Ti on around medium with an ENB and it produced little lag. so a 760 should make gta 4 on high with ICEnhancer.. there maybe a little lag in some places. But like others have said, we can't give you a definite answer because we don't know the rest of your computer hardware/specs. your graphics card maybe good but the rest of you PC could be crap, resulting in lag ans low-medium settings. we need to know your RAM,Processor,Motherboard. just giving us your GPU (graphics card) isn't enough
  9. I like realism when it comes to LCPD:FR... this looks great, however the thing that bugs me the most is the background image the police cruisers livery is NYPD and since it's an LCPD skin.. the cars should say LCPD. Other than that, it looks great :D
  10. Thanks for the heads up! Although i don't play either CS:GO or TF2. Also, just to add to the OP's topic. if you need anything for a Steam game, whether it be trading cards, profile backgrounds or in game items.. always go to the Community Market. that way you're not being scammed and or being a victim to a virus.
  11. One has already been made by TomH - '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  12. It'll be impossible to investigate a crime scene. in the real world Crime Scene Investigators process the crime scene, looking for DNA, fingerprints and essentially anything to link someone to the crime scene. It's very limited. also i know Olanov was joking with the LA Noire.. but he is kinda right, you can't really interrogate someone or ask questions with no facial expressions to tell if they're lying or if they're telling the truth. the facial expression feature is what made LA Noire what it is, without it it'll be.. horrible. same thing will happen with investigations in LCPD:FR you'll be very limited to the point that it wouldn't be worth the time to script.
  13. Nice build, however i don't like the liquid cooling but that's just my preference. It'll be a beast of a machine, same processor and graphics card as me (however mine is MSI instead of ASUS). You'll be able to play games with no problems.
  14. 3 crashed/missing in a short time period (a couple months).. This is seriously why i don't fly anywhere. I really hope that it's just missing and not crashed.. the two Malaysian airlines were enough for one year.
  15. The property system is just like every other GTA game, you get a safehouse everytime you unlock an island. you have 1 in Broker, 1 in Bohan, 1 in Algonquin (2 if you decide to kill Playboy X and take his apartment) and there is 1 in Alderney (there could be two in Alderney i don't remember). In the Episodes from Liberty City expansion/game there is 3 in total. TBoGT has 1 in Algonquin and TLAD has 2 (your clubhouse and a safehouse) both in Alderney
  16. Or if you don't want to use Xliveless, you can just download SNT (Simple Native Trainer) and mark a waypoint at the Alderney Police Station then use the Teleport To Waypoint option in the trainer
  17. There is a guide on how to do it in this thread - '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
  18. Did i read this right? a street gang/ The Crips... are helping the police? Gangs are siding with the police?! Last time i checked street gangs hated police officers.. this world, still has a bit of humanity left :o
  19. a street gang versus a police department.. yeah, i see that working out real well. Everyone knows the biggest and the most powerful gang is the Police Department.
  20. I wasn't 100% positive so that's why i said "i could be wrong though" To be honest with you, the pictures you provided is actually the first time i have ever seen an on duty cop (excluding bike patrol and beach patrol) wearing shorts.
  21. I don't think so, probably because their isn't really any Police Departments or even Sheriff Departments that allow their officers to wear shorts, unless they're like in plain clothes or are on bike/beach patrol. I could be wrong though
  22. It's not really a leaked release date, the site is just guessing.. their info is 99% wrong.. i base that conclusion on their price. normally the PC version is about $20-$30 cheaper than the console version. but having it at $38 when the console version was $100 well.. that's ridicilous. if it isn't said or confirmed by Rockstar Games then don't believe it because 99% of the time it's a guess/rumour or just completely fake. That's the date video game retailers do when there is a game without a confirmed time. December 31st means it'll be out the next year. which could happen since there isn't a confirmed release date.
  23. car mods are generally high poly, so the more cars they load the more strain it puts on your game. it eventually "crashes" because there is too much your PC or game can handle. Limit the amount of car mods you have, I normally have about 3 installed and i crash about every 15 minutes. crashing and stabability varies from computer to computer.
  24. No not at all, We don't need the police. i'm sure people would be perfectly safe with criminals being able to kill, rape, rob whoever they want at any given time... ^That was sarcasim by the way.^ Saying "we don't need the police" is like saying "we can survive without oxygen" it's just not possible.. the only reason people can feel safe and there is no mass riots is because we have the police to step in and bring order from chaos. If we didn't have police, then there would be nobody to enforce the law.. thus making people do whatever the hell they want. your house? that'll be robbed in minutes, Your car? That'll be stolen and burnt in 24 hours, Your family? Possibly murdered in a few days, Your city you live in? Completely ruined and riddled with crime within a year.
  25. Callouts+ is still in a WIP (Work In Progress) stage, post a comment in the topic link provided and kindly ask if it's possible to add your details within the already existing murder call. I doubt LMS will script in a murder call when it's already been done for LCPD:FR. EDIT: Ninja'd by Ineseri... DARN YOU INERSERI! xD
