-- CODE 3 PSE. MASTERCOM 'B' MODEL SIREN -- UPDATE 2.0.0 8/09/2022 ABOUT : This is the Code 3 PSE. Mastercom 'B' Model Siren. There are many emergency service agencies around the world that use the siren model. Among the police services using this siren are the Alaska State Troopers, the Toronto Police Service, Calgary Police Service, and many others. In contrast to most other similar siren modifications, this includes a short and long version of the manual tone. FEATURES - An updated and improved WAIL, YELP, PRIORITY, MANUAL and AIRHORN tones. - The new short and long version of the manual siren tone can be used in the ambulance slot when using ELS. - Tones: WAIL, YELP, PRIORITY, PRIORITY 2, HI-LO, MANUAL AND AIRHORN. ** SPECIAL INSTRUCTION TO USE MANUAL TONE ** I recommend you use the manual tone for the AMBULANCE slot. Locate 'VEHICLES.AWC' - Right click on it, and select 'EXTRACT TO WAVE (.WAV)' AND 'EXPORT TO OPENFORMATS (.OAC)' to an empty folder on your desktop. - Using your desired siren trait names, rename any of the Code 3 PSE Mastercom Siren tones, and drag them to the vehicle.awc folder to replace the stock siren tones. - Using 'OpenIV', click EDIT and then select ' Import OpenFormats', select your vehicles.oac to import the new sirne tones. - Respond Code 3 ! REFER TO YOUR SIREN HASHTAG LIST, AND USE THE NAMES FOR YOUR DESIRED SIREN SLOTS. MAKE SURE THE VEHICLE FOLDER DOES NOT EXCEED 16.132KB OR IT WILL MUTE THE SOUND DICTIONARY. Today I have released an update to my Federal Signal Smart Siren Tones sound mod. They will be available in the upcoming Modern Siren Pack, and this will give you a glimpse in what to expect. You can find the siren here. What do you think ?

Do you have any more on this ? Perhaps for the police bike, and other vehicle slots ? This really helps.

Could someone kindly answer this question as I would also like to know how to separate rotating light speeds from the overall bpm speed that my Led patterns are set to.

Good work. Except for one technicality error, the rear chevron strips are not inverted. It should be inverted and not 'V' as per to NFPA 1901 Fire Apparatus Standards. If you fix this, I will download the pack. -

Well, just the sequencer IDs will be enough, as I can apply it myself through carcols. I just need some pre-made flash patterns sequences. I'm more interesting in having a 4 flash pattern that alternates.

Anybody willing to share their custom flash pattern IDs that I can use for my carcols ? I am looking for something like 4 flashes, etc.

I love the ear piece, but for the vest model I'm not digging the radio position. Still needs a Taser X26 on the belt somewhere or on the duty belt and a flashlite/pepperspray.

Lt.Caine is on vacation and will be back soon. I don't see why ELS is going to cease and decease because we can edit carcols now. At the very basic sense Carcol provides basic patterns, and some other small meaty bones. But I have to admit the ability to customize environmental lighting through carcols has very promising abilities. I have no doubt in my mind that Lt.Caine might research it and see if he can incorporate it into ELS but that's just my guess. When he gets back from his vacation he can decide the next best course of action. No more "RIP ELS " or any of this talk. Thanks, guys.

Today is a good day. So if I have a custom ambulance model installed, I can edit the file above and use custom flash patterns for the ambulance model ? Or does it require model editing as well in order to load the custom patterns ?

Today I would like to announce the mod that I've been working on the last few months. Modern Siren Pack is a sound modification that introduces current generation real-world siren tones in GTA V, giving you a realistic emergency driving atmosphere. This modification will restructure the current American Siren Pack modification and evolve into a larger scale siren modification for Grand Theft Auto V. The sound pack aims to introduce all known siren brands from around the world, and to allow you to choose the siren tones you want to have. The mod also aims to provide you a smoother and easier installation experience. Modern Siren Pack will also be compatible with the upcoming Emergency Lighting System V by Lt.Caine. Features Currently the siren pack is in early development, with limited siren tones. Below are the siren brands that are in the pack already along with some planned features. The siren pack offers over 8 different Siren manufacture brands that are available in North America, including but not limited to : Whelen Engineering, Federal Signal Corporations, Code 3 PSE, Feniex, Sound Off Signal, Rontan, Carson and Star/SVP. Modern Siren Pack will also include several different foreign siren tones that are used/heard in various of European/Asian countries. Some of the siren brands will come with 4 standard tones ( Wail, Yelp, Priority, Hi-Lo/Misc.Tones ) along with airhorn. This allows you to be equipped for the Emergency Lighting System Siren slots when it becomes available. The siren tones in the pack will have a maintained level of volume, and quality assurance to give you the experience you want to have, especially by means of getting attention by other drivers on the road while responding code 3. Some of the siren brands can be used for Fire/Rescue - EMS apparatuses. This siren pack will change all of the available vanilla siren slots in GTA V. This list is not complete. As time goes, more features/tones will be added into the pack. If you have ideas feel free to post them and I will take it in consideration. If you are interested in supporting Modern Siren Pack, please follow/monitor this topic for future updates. There is no release date set in stone. I will release the siren pack when I feel that it will serve your needs with satisfactory results. Thank you for your support !

I really dig the fire truck texture. Where do I find it ? -
You have 4 siren tones available across any ELS enabled vehicles. SIREN 1, SIREN 2, POLICE WARNING and AMBULANCE WARNING ( including air-horn as well ) . Each vehicle will have it's own ELS.INI profile to draw from, and in the profile you can edit the SOUNDS section that allows you to change the IDs of the tones that ELS recognizes. Right now we're limited to a certain pool of sound IDs but Caine is hoping to expand this and use the rest of the siren slots available in GTA V. Right now the soundbank in GTA V is still not fully understood and not many people in the scripting world has decipher it yet. Once it's been fully deciphered, Lt.Caine can gain access to this information that will allow him to design an in-depth sound bank that ELS can draw from. As for dual siren, yes, we have dual tones.
