I personally had a Razer keyboard, an Arctosa, and the space bar broke right after one year old of use (basically right after the warranty). Right now I've a sub-brand that costed me half-less, for the exact same daily use, and it didn't age a single bit. We can argue on the quality of them, but I still believe they're way overpriced for what they are or offer, they're a bit of the Alienware for PC peripheral devices.

Logitech is the good way to go. Some chinese brands are also quite good for cheap prices. I'd avoid Razer if I were you. They've a tendency to age very badly, and they're clearly overpriced for what they are.

Well it works for me, they all move a bit further down the road to let me go through. Doubt you'll find anything better than that, that's how the GTA V AI was coded and it can't be modified.

Why not? Plenty of people make liveries that are not based on any real-life agency, so you can do your stuff without bothering about that, as long as you're content with your work.
