I used to think 79p was a fucking joke for a song, then when it went to 99p I flipped and now have Spotify premium. It's saved me literally thousands of pounds. The absolute most I would pay, on a regular basis is 79p.

I will accept my use of the quotation was shite. In my defense I was in a rush and I knew it was something a long the line and typically, the media only posted that part of the quote. I know we prevent terrorism attempts often, and have prevented disasters (such as the copy cats of the tube bombings, but even then, that was through an error of theirs). I appreciate the attempts stopped so far, but I cannot wrap my head around the fact we are allowing these blatant jihads to return posing an obvious and immediate threat and all we're doing is monitoring them spending millions. The very fact that there is a 15% chance of a successful terrorist attack worries me very much, even if 75% is a large chunk of attacks prevented. I know that we can never eradicate the threat, but I believe as a nation, there is more that can be done, even if it is against the British ethics of respecting everyone.

I don't know why the fuck we (the UK) spend millions of tax payers money so called 'monitoring' these jihads or whatever you wish to call them. Not only is the monitoring not as effective as hoped, its expensive and absolutely ridiculous. Why the hell are they allowed back into the country?! Why the hell aren't they at least put into prison on their return. Why the hell would you travel to Syria at this time other then for training purposes or whatever. This is honesty something that baffles me and pisses me off. The British goverment needs to stop worrying about being so multilaterally acceptant and worry about upsetting someone and take charge of the whole thing and start being tough. Just today the head of MI5 even said, quote "MI5 can not prevent every attack". Madness.

Criminals smuggle guns into the UK too, I don't feel the need to buy an m4 carbine rifle down the high street at my local gun dealer. If someone breaks into your home and they do happen to have a gun, just do as they say. You don't always have to fight back. The pepper spray comment was with regards to incidents such as attempted rape, muggings ect. I don't think there would be a helpless massacre either. More then likely it would be criminals killing criminals. I understand the want for protection, but is the risk, as you've seen from this sad story, worth it for the odd chance that something does happen to you? A gun doesn't PROMISE protection either. One more question, why do many Americans feel the need they need a machines gun that can fire of 600 rounds or god knows how many to protect themselves? I honestly think it's a good excuse to have a guy and play around with it. I don't support the 2nd amendment, but then again, I'm British so what do I know. This is my opinion. I won't reply anymore as I feel I've gone too far off topic.

Here's my logic. How often do you hear of a citizen protecting themselves against a criminal or other threat, as opposed to a citizen getting injured or killed by themselves or another citizen. I said most, not all Americans as well. Why couldn't you just have pepper spray, or any other means on non lethal defense equipment. Do you want a gun to protect yourself, or to protect your rights.

Or was she just like most other Americans thinking they NEED a firearm and they need it to defend themselves? Another reason Americans should get over their 2nd amendment. Fucking madness.

Many people are saying "This is the reason I don't want kids", that's pretty stupid. It's the bad parenting that results in this, not the child. So you're kinda saying that if you did have a child, you'd be a failure of a parent. Of course however, this is the rare chance the child has perhaps a mental problem or other type of illness, but even that can be down to the parenting.

I fail to see why so many are so angry about it all. Given the chance, the 'victims' of the torture would have done far worse to an American. People are getting angry at torture (that's lets face it, isn't even that brutal compared to techniques used against us) considering the recent beheading.

What's the problem with someone watching a lot of porn? What if they've recently divorced? Can't find anyone? They're lonely? Perhaps there conscious of their selves. There are many different reasons for someone to watch constant porn, and a porn addiction is not related to a sex addiction. And what's the significance of porn bringing in a large sum on money? So does the gun industry, so does the food market. Making money isn't a negative thing, nor does it prove in anyway porn is bad. I didn't really understand the beginning of your post though. Are you saying porn is alright if you're not addicted, and you think porn should be shown the 12 year olds to introduce them to sex?

I don't think that's necessarily true however, I've never experienced it first hand. I could reply to all of your points, but all I'm really going to say is, you over think stuff. Everyone knows, sex is about love and compassion. Whether or not they follow that is up to them. I myself don't really care what people do, but I for one can't stand when people get too deep. You obviously believe that porn is creating a generation of teenagers, expecting non realistic things from sex. That happened before porn. Most people watch porn, male and females, we know the difference between porn and real sex. You seem to believe a lot of what you read rather then know or find out through your own experience, you go off statistics, 'facts' and quotes from the internet. You gave me an example of the YouTube video, here's some for you. I too could find many other articles, I could probably find many on why pedophilia is alright. In this post however, it does say that since porn has become widely available, the number of teenage sexual offenses has dropped. I lost my virginity to my girlfriend after we had been going out for around a year and a half, I wasn't expecting reverse cowgirl then to finish off in her mouth. Yes, it was after porn, what's the significance of that. Porn is just porn and only porn, it's not effecting people like so many seem to believe, of course some people will see it and try to re-enact it, doesn't mean all teenagers do.

Sex is sex. There's no 'real' sex nor is there 'fake' sex. The put it bluntly, sex is when the penis enters the vagina., end of. 'Porn objectifies women and gives teenagers a slanted view on what real love and affection is'. You've most likely read this and believe it, have you spoken to teenagers about it? I for one still am, and I've been watching porn for years. I can happily say that I've been in a good, healthy and love fueled relationship for 2 years, 4 months and I can also say, porn hasn't swayed my approach or vision of women at all. The same with many of my peers. In good, love filled relationships. And you know what? If anything, I'd say it's helped me. You must understand that teenagers, girls and guys alike want to experiment when they are teenagers, find out what they like, explore everything that's new! A teenager is filled with hormones, all wanting to jump out left, right and center. Everything is new and amazing, and just like the generations before us, when the novelty of sex lowers, we'll settle down, become less sex hungry and marry, love and live our lives more calmly and less horny. We'll probably still watch porn though. Now let's not get the thought in our heads that, 'Porn's producing a bunch of horny teenage boys using girls for sex!' because frankly it's not true. Of course you're going to get people like this, but blaming it on porn I don't believe is the answer. Before porn was even created, years upon years ago, women were objectified much more so then now. Porn is just the easy answer for an awkward and hard question, but I strongly disagree it's the right one. We, as men, are naturally attracted to women and often go about it in a strong way, it's nature, men will be men. Women will also be women too, many girls/women watch porn too... does that mean that they are objectifying men? You're hinting that women hate sex, they think it's bad, that having sex with a women is abuse. Fact is, like men, women LOVE sex too, with or without love, it's sex and that's what many people love. Perhaps yours and many other people's views on sex is too pure and perfect.

Honestly don't know why so many people are offended by porn. Sex is natural, we all love it (well, unless you have a reason not too) it's a human thing to do and is considered physically and mentally healthy. Watching porn doesn't hurt anyone, girls/men sign themselves up for it and often they get a good hefty pay. Of course there is porn I even disagree with like reenactment of rape and such but, IF and only IF the girl/man is fine with the scene, they like it or whatever, then really, it's not that bad. As long as what's in the video is legal (apparently female ejaculation isn't........................ but I'm talking about bestiality, pain and all that good stuff) then why shouldn't people be able to produce/watch it? If you get offended by it, just don't watch it and bugger off? Complaining is just going to knock things out of kilter and cause more problems then solve them.

"Beat" is being thrown around here fairly softly. Beat is generally a strong word and the action that comes to mind when hearing the word beat is nothing a child should face. I think someone needs to make it clear what everyone means when they say beat.

In the world we live in, stupid decisions is a part of everyone's regular day. Unfortunately, being knocked up (which can happen from both stupidity and an accident eg, condom splitting) is another, regular stupid decision/mistake. I do not agree with people sleeping and shaggin' everyone and everything, but I do not agree we should punish these people so severely as suggested simple because of a naive mistake. I'm not sure if you realise just how many problems, especially for younger people, can arise from pregnancy: Bullying, expenses, giving up a baby they can not provide for but might of become attached too, pain, illness, sometimes death! I 200% agree with an earlier statement in this thread saying something along the lines, of whilst in the embryonic state, you're not actually human. It's sorta the same thing as pulling a plant out the ground, yes you killed it, yes you ended a life, but does the plant know? Nope. I also don't see how only allowing pregnancy due to illegal actions would bring victims forward? Surely as it is, is the same, if not better? People just see another women going in for an abortion rather then a sexual victim going for an abortion. Having an abortion isn't as easy to hide if it is explicit to victims. I too was against abortion, before I had become experienced with such things as the 'sexual world' and other similar aspects of life.
