LSPDFR & RAGE Plugin Hook Enhanced and Upcoming Site Upgrades
We're excited to share the latest updates on projects bringing LSPDFR and RAGE Plugin Hook to GTA 5 Enhanced Edition alongside refreshing our entire website - with new features, a new design and a more fluid experience.
LSPDFR & RAGE Plugin Hook Enhanced
With the recent release of Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced Edition @LMS has been working on porting RAGE Plugin Hook. While still in its early development stages, RPH is now successfully running on the Enhanced Edition with most of the basic features working, including running small plugins and DX12 rendering. In addition, our biggest LSPDFR update ever is currently in closed-beta testing and we hope to have more news on it soon.
Below are some screenshots of these previously console-only vehicles being spawned through RPH in the Enhanced Edition.

RPH on Apple Silicon
As part of the port to the Enhanced version and DX12 support, we have streamlined some core systems, now allowing RPH and LSPDFR to run on Apple Silicon. We're still addressing performance issues and visibility concerns before considering a potential future patch.

Website Platform Update and Invision Community 5
We're in the early stages of migrating from Invision Community 4 to 5, which will transform our entire platform.
This update combines rewrites of Invision Community core features with rewrites of our own software to provide users with a faster and cleaner experience. Community members will enjoy a fresh design and responsive theme that follows your OS dark mode decision. On top of this, substantial effort across the board has been made to fix performance issues.
Most of the changes to our new platform are behind the scenes, but the most visible improvement you'll see, apart from the general design change, is the new editor. This new editor comes with many improvements and is easy to use. It also introduces some new features, like Content Boxes, that will make structuring mod download pages a little bit better.
We hope to provide further updates over the coming weeks and months as we prepare this for release.

Hey there, everyone! I hope you're all doing great. I've got some exciting news to share with you all today, and it's something I've been working on with a lot of passion.
🚓 Introducing: The Liberty City Callout Pack for LSPDFR! That's right, I'm currently crafting a new callout pack, and it's all set in the buzzing streets of Liberty City. This is something I've been dreaming up for a while, and now, it's finally taking shape.
🔍 Here's What's Cooking:
Initially, we'll be focusing on specific, iconic locations in Liberty City for these callouts. But, I've got bigger plans in the pipeline!
I'm exploring ways to bring in more spontaneity with random callout locations. Imagine the thrill of responding to emergencies at places like Acter Bridge instead of the usual San Andreas spots. That's the level of immersion I'm aiming for!
🎯 My Goal?
I want to ditch the repetitive "We have a criminal resisting arrest in, uhhh, San Andreas" and bring in more of Liberty City's vibe. I'm talking about callouts that feel like they're really happening in the heart of the city.
🚀 And there's more:
If this project takes off and I get enough support from all of you, my next step will be to develop a mod that integrates with most, if not all, callouts in Liberty City. How cool would that be?
🔐 Exclusive Access for My Supporters:
Regular updates and sneak peeks into this project will be a special treat for my Patreon members. You guys will be the first to know what's new and exciting!
For my Paid Members, expect some exclusive teasers that'll give you a glimpse of what's to come.
And get ready for this: A Private Beta version is in the works, and it will be available exclusively to my 'Supporter' and 'Supporter - Premium' tiers as soon as it's ready.
I'm beyond excited to bring this project to life, and your support means everything. Together, we're going to make this one of the most thrilling experiences in LSPDFR.
And before I forget, this mod will be made to be compatible with SE version of Liberty City V Remix.
To show your support and interest, consider joining my Patreon!

Slushy reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.4.8 - Now available! We're back with another minor update for LSPDFR 0.4, which introduces a couple of hotly requested features, including 1893 Grapeseed Ave - an all new, modest home in a rural setting for your characters to live in.
This new pad has a different 'low-end' interior with all of the usual amenities like a shower and bed. This brings the total number of apartments in LSPDFR to 3, and means that we now have 'high', 'medium' and 'low end' styles to choose from in a variety of locations, both urban and rural.
The new property available for your residential convenience at 1893 Grapeseed Ave
LSPDFR 0.4.8 adds a few new features, and introduces many fixes and ongoing improvements to increase the quality, stability and performance of the modification, including:
1893 Grapeseed Ave - a new, modest and rural accommodation option for your LSPDFR player characters to live in. A remastered 'hand-on-holster' (Intimidate) action that fluidly animates, doesn't block movement, and allows for you to quickly draw sidearms. Evidence Markers to mark crime scenes which can be seamlessly placed down, picked up again and customized per agency. Improvements were made to the way in which NPC officers respond 'Code 3' to backup calls and navigate through traffic. A number of new, useful API functions requested by developers were added.
Using the remastered 'Intimidate' option to quickly draw a sidearm with animations.

Slushy reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.4.4 - Now available!Just wanted to follow up on this quickly.
We did have the update ready to go today, although a new feature managed to creep its way in and needs just a little more time.
-
Slushy reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.4.4 - Now available!Just to clarify, you should be able to play LSPDFR as things stand, as long as you are using the latest version of LSPDFR (0.4.5) and the RAGE Plugin Hook (1.74), available here: https://ragepluginhook.net/Downloads.aspx?Category=1
Honestly no idea what the status of other mods is, but RPH + LSPDFR on its own should be fine at the moment. We will update LSPDFR tomorrow with some additional fixes and changes.

Slushy reacted to PNWParksFan in [REL] Coastal Callouts Discussion ThreadUpcoming Coastal Callouts release information
With the public announcement of LML, I am now able to share additional details about the upcoming public release of Coastal Callouts. If you are not yet familiar with LML, it is a new mod loader from the LSPDFR dev team which drastically simplifies the installation of gamefile mods like the Coastal DLC. Rather than having to tediously install files to multiple locations and manually edit meta entries, with LML installing the entire Coastal Callouts DLC is as simple as dropping one folder into your game directory, or even using the easy One-Click download service that will be included with LML. Everything from add-on and replacement vehicles to ambient ped and vehicle scenarios can be done from within one package. For more information, see the official LML announcement below:
The LML development team is still working on the new system, including yet-to-be-determined details which will affect how the plugin/callout portion of the mod will be installed. In the meantime, I am focusing on making final adjustments to the DLC, and tuning up several other mods. Better EMS will be updated with some minor changes, and Police Tape will be re-released with new features and a more permissive license.
LML is currently planned for public release sometime in December 2019. I am expecting to release Coastal Callouts shortly thereafter. The exact timeline will depend upon details of the how the eventual public LML release works, and my own schedule for finishing all of the other details left to take care of.
Several talented community members have also been working on various international variations of the Coastal Callouts DLC and configuration files. LML will significantly simplify installing and updating these Coastal International DLC packs. First off, we have the UK Coastal Pack, with textures by @Markey and @swimmingdude2014, and additional vehicles by @BritishGamer88. This is a thorough DLC, with various British boats, aircraft, peds, and buildings:
For players from Spain, @carlolucca and @sergiobas have been working on the Spanish Coastal DLC. This DLC includes textures for several of the main coastal DLC models, as well as a few newly added helicopters and new peds.
The international packs should be released shortly after the main Coastal Callouts release. There are also some files started for an Australian pack, which are currently incomplete. If any Aussie players would like to take on completing those textures, please DM me for further information. Anyone else interested in contributing other international texture packs may also DM me for further information.
Thanks to everyone for your enthusiasm and patience! Looking forward to ending the decade (!!!) with some exciting releases, and finally getting these mods into everyone's hands to enjoy!

Slushy reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.4.2 - Now Available!20 June, 2019 - We have released a minor update (Build 7110) for LSPDFR 0.4.2 to fix a couple of issues that have been reported to us.
We're happy to announce that the latest update of LSPDFR, version 0.4.2, is now available. LSPDFR 0.4.2 brings with it a couple of snazzy new features including protective ballistic shields and the ability to flash your police badge. Aside from this, 0.4.2 not only fixes a number of bugs that have been reported, but also introduces sweeping changes and improvements to the LSPDFR 0.4 API, giving plugin developers more access and power than ever.
Additionally, we've made a massive improvement to the Pause Menu which, in something of a first for a GTA mod, now lets you seamlessly configure your LSPDFR keybinds in-game, using the same system as the game itself.
LSPDFR 0.4.2, along with full release notes, can be found here: https://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7792-lspd-first-response
Please also see our updated Wiki articles detailing some of the new features in LSPDFR 0.4.2:

Slushy reacted to LMS in LSPDFR 0.4.2 - Coming Soon!Could you please elaborate a little on what animations you mean exactly? Are you referring to the "Action" in the Interaction Menu or the "Action" in the Police Radio, or perhaps both? Holding down CAPSLOCK should play the currently selected one from the Interaction Menu, but I can certainly understand the need for more keybindings.

Slushy reacted to Sam in LSPDFR 0.4.2 - Coming Soon!Hot off the release of LSPDFR 0.4 a couple of months ago, we're upping the ante with another update which brings not only sweeping improvements to the LSPDFR 0.4 API, but also some unique features which have long been requested.
Originally, the plan was merely to release 0.4.2 as a quick follow-up to 0.4 and 0.4.1 - just simple fixes and changes, plus the API improvements to help developers make the most of 0.4. Necessary changes, but not really cool enough, right? So, with that in mind we took a little time to dig back into the archives of LSPDFR and revisit some of our old concepts and ideas. Now, while some of these are actually in the mod - they're most likely either tucked away as 'easter eggs' or just disabled because they weren't quite right.
If you're a connoisseur of traffic stops, for example, you might've noticed that occasionally the unexpected and oh so demoralizing experience of pulling over a federal agent hits you right in the feels as they arrogantly flash their shiny badge, tell you where to stick your comparatively less shiny badge, and drive off. (If you haven't seen this before, here's a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNOxZR2ak0M)
Originally the plan was to add this as a feature for players to use, but it just didn't quite fit in with 0.3, and we had some trouble with the animation not being quite as fluid as we'd like. That was then, though, and given that you now play as your own character both on and off duty, we thought it'd be a bit of a must-have now, so we've tidied it up and are introducing it as a player action in 0.4.2.
With one quick glance at the shimmering shield, her problems are suddenly your problems. (Note, a custom badge model is shown instead of the default FIB one - you will be able to define custom models to use on a per-agency basis)
Now, not only does this look exceedingly awesome, but it serves a practical purpose too. Available both on and off-duty, showing your badge will clear any wanted level and may also instill the fear of the law in nearby citizens, potentially de-escalating the otherwise unavoidable confrontations that flare when you walk around Mirror Park without the latest iFruit phone, for example!
Of course, that's not all. Continuing with the idea of adding things that are just generally cool, we know that people have wanted a ballistic shield feature in LSPDFR for quite some time. Sure, you can spawn one with a trainer or download another mod, but it's just not quite the same is it?
We thought it'd be particularly sweet to have it at your fingertips instead, fully integrated with LSPDFR, ready to kick some butt.
As if being Frank Tenpenny isn't cool enough...
Our ballistic shield, accessed from the Interaction Menu, uses our new animation system in 0.4.2 which we think looks absolutely gorgeous. There's also the freedom to switch between Stealth and Action mode which will vary your pose accordingly, compatibility with most weapons and the potential for future AI support.
Oh yeah, did we mention you can actually arrest people at gunpoint while holding a freaking shield?!
Keep your eyes open for LSPDFR 0.4.2, coming soon.

Slushy got a reaction from Ovrt in LSPDFR 0.4.1 - Now AvailableAs long as there wasn't a GTA 5 update that broke ScriptHook, it shouldn't need updating.

Have you tried letting it update?

Slushy reacted to LMS in LSPDFR 0.4.1 - Now AvailableYour issue is with Interaction+. It fails to read its settings or something (I don't know how that plugin works), line 71 is bad as you can see in the log. Either remove the plugin or fix the settings.

Slushy reacted to t0y in Still waiting...Hey guys sorry to interrupt!
I fully understand how bad it is to get your mods stolen, ripped, leaked, whatever it may be, and from the perspective of a modder I understand all the outrage with the ripping that has been going on in both FR and the modding community in general.
However, what actually do you think the FR staff can do about this? Honestly, tell me what you think they can do to stop all ripping in the FR community. There is no answer, and the answer certainly isn't moving all your mods to a different website... That's just... fucking stupid. You still mod for the LSPDFR mod, and every one of you started with FR so let's not forget that, and maybe try to work together with the staff to try and stop it? Idfk that's just what im thinking as a concerned third party!

Slushy reacted to Albo1125 in AmbientSpawn Ped related crashThis crash occurred right after I ordered a suspect out of a vehicle on a traffic stop, but it seems to have been caused by the game attempting to spawn an ambient backup unit judging from the log. I did not request any backup units myself.
I have had a number of similar crash logs when teleporting to places on the map. There seems to be an issue with spawning a police ped for the backup unit. I do have custom peds installed in the default police ped slots, could that perhaps be something to do with it?

Slushy got a reaction from ScreamingFrancis in Flashlight size, flashlight not working, stop the ped bugs and so on...Maybe that is caused by the player's character not being a 'cop' model in-game, resulting in them seeing you as a criminal, therefore shooting you. This must be a fairly rare bug though, as I have yet to experience it.
