- Version 1.0.0
2010 Ford Crown Victoria PI DEV Model (V1.0) Hello LCPDFR! This is an unlocked base model development model of the unmarked '10 CVPI I recently uploaded. It is composed of the model from the Forza game series and various parts from NFS Heat, then further optimized for GTA V. The body paint and interior colours are already setup and ready for in game use. However, refer to the guide for carvariations.meta included in this archive, for further clarification. The .YTD files for this vehicle have been included. Please refrain from adjusting properties of the included textures (unless you know what you are doing), so they appear as intended. Included in this archive is various guides to help you setup the animated transmission, in game carvariations.meta setup and ambient occlusion body mapping. A template for the body is also included for livery creation. This vehicle has full LOD's configured, so ensure you export your vehicle correctly: - The standard .yft export (polcvpi2.yft for example), should include all LOD's EXCEPT THE HIGHEST. - The _hi.yft export (polcvpi2_hi.yft for example), should only include the HIGHEST LOD ONLY. Terms of Use - This package is provided "as is". The author makes no warranties towards this package. - In no event is the author liable for any damages that arise or the inability to use this package. All responsibilities rest on the user. - This package MUST NOT be used for commercial purposes, nor re-distributed WITHOUT ORIGINAL CREDITS PROVIDED. - You may not copy elements of this package, remove credits or reverse engineer the contents without permission from the original author. -

2010 Ford Crown Victoria PI (V1.0) This vehicle is now available as an unlocked DEV. 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor in an unmarked configuration. Hello LCPDFR! This is just a simple unmarked CVPI NON-ELS vehicle I've put together. I've been working on this CVPI model for a long time and have finally put it to use in an unmarked police setup. I've provided both add-on and replace packages to download. - The add-on package will add the vehicle into the game with the in-game name being 'intercept2'. - The replace package will use the POLICE4 slot. - Refer to the installation instructions in the download for correct installation of the package. This model features: - Paintable body with 2 colour setup (Paint 1 for bumpers, bonnet, boot & fenders. Paint 2 for doors & roof). Model is setup out of the box to use default POLICE4 paint colours. - Interior colour that can be changed via Benny's Mod Shop or trainer. Model is setup out of the box to use gray and tan colours. - Tintable windows. - Opening and closing of the laptop screen. This can be done by holding the vehicle interaction key (Right D-PAD on controller, H key on keyboard, same button for toggling convertibles). Terms of Use - This package is provided "as is". The Author makes no warranties towards this package. - In no event is the Author liable for any damages that arise or the inability to use this package. Rockport Police Department Vehicle Pack (v1.0)
- 2,835 downloads
- Version 1.0.0
Rockport Police Department Vehicle Pack (v1.0) A re-creation of the police vehicles from the game Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005). All vehicles have been built from the ground up based off the original models from the game. Featuring higher polygon counts for greater detail and 3D interiors to better fit into the GTA V world, gives these gems the refresh they deserve. While keeping them as authentic as possible. I sincerely apologize for the lack of updates on this pack. This has been the largest project I have attempted, learning new programs as I go. And as such this pack has gone through many iterations with even some complete redo's. Finally these vehicles are at a stage where we are satisfied to release them to the public, but far from perfection. Which is why these vehicles have been left unlocked to allow the community to tweak and edit these to their desires, and maybe even fix some of the errors we have missed! I also cannot go without giving a massive thankyou to @DevilDexter22 for his amazing support and feedback. With his assistance with livery/texture creation and modelling (which only scrapes the surface of his contributions), it would not be fair for me to take all the credit. A absolute pleasure to work with! Installation instruction are included in the download. This pack has been assembled into a DLC.RPF for easier installation, with no original game files being replaced. We hope the wonderful community will enjoy these as much as we do! Please feel free to use these in any of your future projects, FiveM servers etc. But appropriate accreditation should be included.- 22 comments

RPD Project Update
From the album: GTA V Screens
I thought I would share some screenshots of this project that I have been working on for some time. I plan to completely rebuild all of the police cars from NFSMW from the ground up, as the original models are quite dated and lack detail to be in GTA V So far I have successfully converted and play-tested the Civic Cruiser's and Federal Pursuit Vehicles (Corvette's). Though I have made a decent amount of progress on the rest of the models. I apologize for the lack of updates -
Cruiser
I apologize for the lack of updates, however I have not let this project go. For quite a long period of time now, I have been constructing these cars from the ground up. As the original models that I have ported into GTA V lack detail and feel 'dated' compared to other cars in game. So I have been making extensive modeling edits to the vehicles which feature higher polycounts, increased body and interior detailing, new police equipment and so on. I have so far put the Civic Cruiser's and Federal Pursuit Vehicles (including marked, undercover and Cross) into the game. Ill add some screenshots to show the progress. My end goal is to upload all of the cars as a pack once completed. The State Pursuit Vehicle (Pontiac GTO RA6) is the next closest vehicle to being complete, and I have begun work on the Rhino's. I also plan to add the Civic Cruiser from the NFSMW beta, which has slight differences with the taillights, headlights and other body components (looks closer to a Crown Victoria). I'll try my best to post updates on this project and eventually conclude this project!

How to make distant lights stronger?
You could try scaling the Lower LOD's siren mesh larger to give off a brighter effect from a distance. For example, if you are using ELS you can simply scale L2 and L3 larger, compound then done. But if using the game's vanilla siren system (NON-ELS) then you will have to adjust the 'scaleFactor' value in the carcols file so the mesh won't protrude through the car when the lights are inactive. I have tried value 20 for scaleFactor and scaling the siren meshes in ZMod down to 5.000 and can confirm the lights will not be visible when inactive. You could always just put the dummy's for the sirens far below the car and not have to worry about messing with the carcols file, but of course you won't have environmental reflections which can ruin the immersion. I hope this makes sense and is not too confusing to follow. Let me know if this helps!!

Thankyou very much! And yes, I had your pack in my game earlier. Loved it so much and was one of the main reasons I decided to start working on these cars! I'm yet to make the beta livery for crosses corvette (the one in the game's first intro I believe) but I see you have and I must say you (and the other people who worked on your pack) did an excellent job!

Cross Unit coming soon! -
RPD
It does feel good having these chase after you in GTA V and the GTO handles very nice with the POLICE3 handling line, you can just throw it around corners without using the brakes. Though the tactics police use in GTA 5 isnt exactly the same as NFS MW. Very soon! Going to start work on the Corvette now and then the pack will be very close to finished!

Not sure if many know where these vehicles are from, but it was one of the best racing games back in the PS2 days! (Until the save data corrupted and you were at Blacklist #3 and you was so hyped to be so close to finishing the game and the PS2 basically spits in your mouth) -

I see your point. It is quite difficult to achieve a perfect replica of real car lights cause how GTA reflections work compared to real life aren't quite the same. As you can see the lights are more red on the 2nd picture than the 1st and 3rd and it is not possible to have the texture of the light change depending on if there is light shining towards them and the camera used to take the pictures can change the way lights look in photos compared to how they are if you looked at them in person. I will try my best to improve the taillights and greatly appreciate your feedback! I would absolutely love to be able to get a very similar look to lights in the pictures above in GTA but its not quite possible unfortunately.

Thanks and yes I sure will! I still have some minor details that need improving but I could spend forever finding things I want to change an it becomes a never ending cycle haha, but I am very satisfied with the vehicle in its current state. Graphics modifications are Visual V and Naturalvision I believe (also a filter in the rockstar editor with 30% strength)
