Well if you have a NVIDIA based GPU you have access to ShadowPlay which is free and what I use if I need to record.

And this isn't the case with most games with W10. GTA 5 and LSPDFR work just fine on it, along with most other games.

Indeed, I've only had it via the tech. preview for about a month but I love it. Every game has been compatible without issue as well.

Yeah, sometimes antiviruses can see .dll's as a false positive. Make an exception for your GTA 5 folder.

I facepalmed so hard reading this. No offense, but it's people like you who spread misinformation that generally causes those who rather not educate themselves to jump on the hate bandwagon without actually having any idea of what they are talking about.
First and foremost, a plethora of people complained that the last title update caused a huge drop in performance (including myself). Rockstar addressed this shortly after that update dropped and acknowledged the problem, they then released this recent update as of 7/20/2015, which seems to have fixed that specific issue. My FPS shot back to what it was prior to the title update and any sort of stuttering seems to have been eliminated, there is occasional FPS drops - however that may be due to my system and may just be the result of certain areas within the game itself.
Secondly, this isn't new. Mods break, period. It doesn't matter what game it is, mods beak. GTA V isn't the exception to this seemingly unwilling group of people who can't wrap their head around this "new age" problem. Even games that fully and directly support mods with mod tools and the like, if they drop an update that changes anything within the game it's a no brainer that the mod structure is going to collapse and it's not the developers purposely targeting the mod creators, it's just how it works. Rockstar isn't targeting mods, they released a patch that seems to have addressed the issue with performance and this shouldn't be a reason to throw your internet poop at them, it should be a reason to thank them.
Lastly, the question to Rockstar has already been asked if they were against modding. You can read about it here: http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52429/asked-answered-the-rockstar-editor-gta-online-updates
You can also read about the latest update statement given by Rockstar today, here: https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/206862727-Lower-Framerate-in-GTAV-and-GTA-Online-on-PC-after-Title-Update-1-28 again, they make themselves clear in that they are not targeting mods.

I completely agree. There is so much conspiracy with the R* and modding community that I think I need a tinfoil hat! From what I've heard the patch is great and removes the stuttering issue for most people. Can't wait to try it.

    1. This same thing occurred every time a patch for GTA 4 came out. It isn't new. Patch comes out, breaks scripts. Scripts are updated. Rinse, repeat.
    2. R* never said they support mods. In fact, they say that they are unsupported and will break - this does not mean they are actively against them. This isn't new.
    3. They aren't deliberately targeting mods.
    4. Games get a lot of patches over time. Get used to it - back up your .exe and update files if you don't want to wait for the scripts to be updated.
    5. Yeah, waiting a day is going to be the "Downfall" of mods. LOL

They "break" modding for what, a day? You act like it's the end of the whole modding scene. They're just trying to improve some performance issues caused by the last update. If you really can't wait for the Devs to update the mod, then you should've made a backup.
