  1. Given that I'm pretty sure shooting at someone who's bailed out of their aircraft is a war crime... this is getting deep.
  2. ISIS would threaten everyone and their grandmother if they had the time to spare after being vaporized by Russian bombs.

  6. They can't at the very least send a helicopter along to track them?

  8. I was at a mall in Massachusetts a year or so ago and there was somebody important there; maybe a former president or governor or something. In the midst of the mall security and local police roaming around, I saw a black Tahoe with US government plates scanning the exterior.
  9. I very highly doubt that. We had a couple shootings in close proximity, and now the other crazies are following the leader to try and stir up the masses as much as possible. No idea why, but massive waves of shootings don't just happen.
  10. I read that they'd been involved in a lot of corruption and in general you don't want them in your driveway. I'll try and dig up more information later.
  11. I'd like to interject here a moment. I've seen accounts of local police forces that vary from corrupt to assholeish to downright pleasant. I was confused by this for a while, until I came to the conclusion that it all depends where you are. To give an example, I've read that Orange County's sheriff department is pretty corrupt and unpleasant, but I've heard nothing but good about many state agencies and smaller-town departments. I don't know if there's any further depth besides "some departments are good and some aren't," or if it depends on size and location, but I figure what department you're dealing with plays a huge factor. People seem to act like America has one big police force with the same personnel and attitudes, but we have thousands.
  12. I've seen places like Reddit blow the problem way out of proportion, thanks to highly misleading headlines and news articles that only report the information that fits the narrative engineered to obtain the most clicks.
  13. This looks more ambitious than anything I've ever seen. I don't know how the hell they're going to pull it off without forcing people to buy a Cray just to run it, but damn son, everything looks incredible. If only the descriptions were written by someone who actually spoke English.
