  1. Hello! I'd like to showcase my upcoming modification I've spent some time on! The purpose of this plugin is to allow users a easy way to edit .ini files (because we all dread them). In order to do this they will need to be converted to .xml as this is what the program reads. Here is a beta screenshot of the plugin (note some parts may change): IF YOU ARE A PLUGIN DEVELOPER AND WISH TO HAVE YOUR PLUGIN SUPPORTED, PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE ATTACHED FILE AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS THERE. Then, let me know that you plan on using this and I will link your plugin in the download page for this when it is released. If you have any questions, please post them here. Fiskey111 XML Editor Developer Example.zip Afraid this is a virus? My status here still not convince you? Okay, here's a virus scan: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/1d439263671fa37bdebd528f48b14ac377f48ae33f9ca2348af1085dd8ea5486/analysis/1468029416/
  2. Personally I did the same thing as well. Secondary Callouts has a lot of callouts at low, and a couple at very low (or whatever it is). I would rather someone play and be excited when they see my callout pop up than someone play and see mine pop up all the time (like knife attack is medium, but officer shot is very low). I personally think that high and always should be removed -- you should never get a callout that often.
  3. Except when the callouts contain evidence you need to search for (containing 26 different categories, and over 400 combinations) as well as the ability for those to dynamically alter the course of the callout (as in they may provide complete or partial DNA, etc) and that they involve many steps that can be done in different orders (and some may be skipped based on certain parameters). While I agree that if you play enough they will be routine, however if someone puts the effort in to their plugin it can be different most of the time.
  4. Sometimes mistakes slip through the cracks. I know I've put keybindings in that I thought I referenced to open a menu but then found out through reports that I didn't, which was simply because I didn't type the name correctly. I know Albo, and he would never do such a thing on purpose. I would recommend posting this in the comments of the plugin this deals with and letting him know it isn't working. Between all of his amazing plugins and work done for the LSPDFR community, I'm sure he missed some things. It's our job as a community to let him know what he missed.
  5. Just as an update on the progress - Progress is going smoothly; I have currently began creating a ScriptController that will, independently from LSPDFR, call these "callouts" and allow me to control what parts occur when. I have about 90% finished the Crime Scene Investigation portion (simply need to add the rest of the variation, which will take some time). Note that with this, you will be able to determine what evidence is important to pick up and what should be left behind. This will allow me to base your performance off whether or not you collected all the important evidence.
  6. I would use either (or all) of the following callouts in conjunction with LSPDFR Computer+. The call details will give you more details. (AFAIK these are the only current callouts to support C+ integration).
  7. Today I would like to showcase my newest callout pack I'm working on: Current Update: 3/6/2017 It's been at least 3 months since my last update and I've made a lot of improvement! Here's a quick list of what's included now: Stages spanning over sessions Security Camera footage of crime scene (if available) Interrogation methods fully implemented Dialog method implemented Rewriting of last three stages + new stage for requesting warrant Social media page for victim with real-time information Final stage changed to swat raid of location And many, many bug fixes! A BETA HAS BEEN RELEASED!!! WANT TO GET ACCESS? CHECK OUT THE WEBSITE BELOW! Want to be a part of the beta? Check out the information here at fiskey111mods.com! Expect a video made by Darkmyre soon!!! Previous updates: ORIGINAL POST (UPDATED WITH ACCURATE PERCENTAGES) This pack will feature at its release three callouts: 1. Murder 2. Sexual Assault 3. A secret.... The aim of this pack is to bring detective style policing to Los Santos. These callouts will be in depth -- requiring skills that a real police officer uses like attention to detail, questioning of suspects and determining if they are lying or not, and waiting for information (callouts will span over time and will reappear later on and continue from where they left off). I will be working with @Albo1125 (most likely) later on in the development (once he gets more freetime, haha) to incorporate some ideas he had as well. Current Status: -Murder: 5% -Sexual Assault: 95% -Secret: 0% I will continue updating this page as development continues! Thank you everyone for your support! Interested in seeing more information? Want to see more information? Pictures? Videos? Check out my site here!!
  8. One thing I found really helpful was using a google form -- they were super easy to use and quick to fill out and summarized everything right there. Here's an example of one I made: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1YHrzMcuyiQpD5uH3tp10CCcKOWJ-8JbvFgFwtWUwhbo/edit (Just a tip!)
  9. RagenativeUI needs to be updated to the newest Ragehook. I'd either wait, revert back, or go to PNWParksFan (something like that, sorry!) profile as he compiled a working version!
I do love these skins, but I'd really prefer if you could make 4 of each (just change the numbers up on them). Not a major deal, but it makes installation easier and adds that little touch so cars don't always spawn with the same numbers.
  10. This is basically exactly what you are looking for.
  11. Most crashes at least damage a light on the car, so you might be able to get away using this: Vehicle.AreAnyComponentsBroken(Rage.VehicleComponents)! Just an idea!
  12. I personally just use xpadder to set my dpad down button to emulate J. For the time being I'd recommend doing that!
  13. Ahh so it wasn't calling your End() at all. Gotcha. I thought it was calling it! Good job!
  14. YOU ARE THE BEST! Thank you!!
  15. Hello Cyan! I wanted to check to see if the notification issue was just on my end or if it's a server thing. I've tried deleting my cache and whatnot, however that didn't help. Basically my notifications are showing (and updating, too) in the top right. However, when I click on them it simply brings an infinite loop and doesn't show me the notifications. In addition, when I press "View all notifications" it shows this error: I haven't seen anyone else say there is an issue yet, so I wanted to check! Thank you!
  16. Yep. Every couple weeks I'll sit down before I play and spend 45 minutes to an hour installing new mods (either car mods, plugins, etc). I don't think that's too much to do and it really helps you understand how everything works so it's easier to troubleshoot. I used to not know what carvariations were but now I do and I can easily troubleshoot them!
  17. Just an update - we currently have successfully combined the two modifications together. Within Computer+ lies a reports area where the reports can be written and PoliceNotebook is a tool that will be packaged with the plugin. I'm not sure on the API as I've been focusing on getting the two plugins to be fluid and fairly consistent (across text, sizes, etc). I just wanted to let you know that we've got a functioning and stable single plugin! Also, @AlconH will be assisting us with creating/maintaining a dedicated server to host the data from the MDT that will update in real time. This project won't start for a few weeks, but I want to include that in the update as well!
  18. If you didn't make it known that there were bugs and you didn't list off all of them, I'd probably be giving you two stars. However, being a beta model -- it's beautiful! I think the model looks great on the outside. The fact you made a lot of the lights into components is amazing, thank you! As for the bugs - I hope you sort them out soon, because I'd love this car even more with less bugs! And for the rims -- you can just swap them out in-game for GTAV rims using a trainer, so it's no big deal! Thank you for your hard work!!
  19. Ahh good!! Haha, no I'm not but I'll look into them to learn them in the meantime!
  20. I actually did not read the "live updates" thing. That would be pretty cool! Let me know when you're ready as I'm definitely interested in that!
  21. We're actually planning on making an SQL database once we finish combining Compuer+ and PolicingMDT! If you're familiar with SQL then I'll certainly need your help! As of right now though this is more of a placeholder.
  22. So in case you weren't aware, we will be combining PolicingMDT with LSPDFR Computer+ to form one Super CAD!! (I'm assuming it'll still be called LSPDFR Computer+ though and not SuperComputer+ ) Thanks @Albo1125 for the help with the API! I'm excited to see what we can do with it, and I'm also glad it's that easy to implement! We'll be sure to keep you all updated and will be asking you all for help! If you'd like in on this project, I personally don't mind - I'm not too sure about @PieRGud's opinion though! Thanks everyone!
  23. @Stealth22 do you know of a way to contribute to code with another person? Is GitHub the best way to do that, or is there another cloud-like system (like onedrive or google drive) that's best?
  24. I know Computer+ has the ability to call for backup, so I won't be including it in mine (I don't want to step on each other's toes!). My goal was to offer an API that would check to see if the person successfully included all important aspects of the call in their report (like correct people, correct findings (drugs, speed, etc), and correct locations) to allow for a feedback system (which I'll be integrating in Non-lethal policing). I'm not too sure how possible it would be to add custom reports, if you have an idea how that would be great!
