  1. Is the name the same between the exported finished file and the imported file?
  2. If you buy GTA IV through Steam you are able to play LCPDFR. You can't run the game through steam to play, you'll have to run it manually, but will work the same as the disc version.
  3. -Written by men who owned slaves and were the richest and most powerful of the country (Don't get me wrong I still agree with you 100000% but I wanted to throw that in there!)
  4. Thanks! I can see that, but that's how my friend wanted it haha. Perhaps in he next version I can make new ones.

Hello LCPDFR! Here are my first two releases! ****The skin for the F350 was made by me. It is not the most amazing skin ever, but I wanted to at least include something since there are no skins actually made anywhere. Again, if anyone makes a better skin and wants it to be included with the model please PM me! Thank you!****** First, I did not make these models to be released- I made them for myself and a friend to use to play MP and made them to our standards! However, I got some interest in releasing them so I shall do so! I'm hoping to redo the lights on the CVPI this weekend and add in extra equipment on the two models. The CVPI is based loosely off my town's department and the F350 was designed by a friend of mine, so realism isn't really prevalent in these models! I enjoy a lot of lights, so they are christmas trees! I have included Red-Blue and Blue-Blue textures (I live in MA so we have all blue lights here!) so you can pick which ones you want! The models: DSF CVPI Known Bugs: -All the talons are mapped to 1 and 4 (hopefully going to fix that this weekend and map some to 2 and 3) Fixed in V 0.6 -The front and back seats may be too high- fronts have been tested and seem okay, but back seats have not been checked Fixed in V 0.6 F350 -Possible bouncing? -Readme says V 1.2 but is actually V 0.7 Again, I want to stress that these models were designed to my personal desires! So if you don't like them for some reason leave a comment with some constructive criticism and I will gladly attempt to make changes (if feasible). Finally -the skins- I have only paint on my desktop, and besides I'm not even close to being creative. So, I included a solid black CVPI skin with the model (I suggest finding an actually nice skin somewhere on LCPDFR) and the F350 skin is okay, not the best- but better than nothing at all! Thank you to everyone on LCPDFR for their help! I hope to hear some feedback on these models to change them and make them even better!
  5. Thanks! I definitely will do the skin! I might consider a separate TA for the F350, that's a good idea! Thank you! Thanks! I'll release them when I get some more interest/feedback!
  6. Hello everybody! These are my first two cars that I've successfully put together on my own! I made them for myself to my own specifications (I've designed the CVPI off one my town police has, the F350 was designed by a friend!). I was just curious as to see if there is any feedback that people can give me (constructive, obviously!) since I'm pretty new at doing this. Of course, if there's any desire for one of these I can put it together and release it (provided everything is releasable). Let me know what you all think! Thanks!!http://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_01_2015/post-151108-0-52126200-1420764348.pnghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_01_2015/post-151108-0-15625500-1420764352.pnghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_01_2015/post-151108-0-43175900-1420764355.pnghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_01_2015/post-151108-0-23075800-1420764359.png
  7. Walgreens and a McDonalds are on fire.... Wow...
  8. I heard one of the people on CNN say that this was all set up and that they knew this was going to be the outcome. He said anyone that has been a prosecutor would know that, due to it being brought to the grand jury. Anyone here been a prosecutor? What do you guys think about that? That just stood out to me. Personally, I feel that the evidence was solid, but I haven't gone over it yet, so I won't make my decision until I do.
  9. Whoops. I should've known I was in the wrong section... My bad! Thanks for your response! So I looked and the lightbar is above the windows in the hierarchy. But I still moved it to right below the lights in its own section anyways just to make sure. That didn't do anything. So I went as far as deleting the windows and they still don't show up (the white LEDs or the side lights that don't appear at all). I could see right through the car windows and nothing appeared still. I really don't know why its not working. I did that with a fresh car, not with my original. For the side lights, I don't know why they don't work - they're recognized by ELS as the ELS Information Menu shows extra_2 & extra_3 flashing in game, but you can't see them at all. Both the blue lights and the white backgrounds are using the same .png file, so it's there. And I'm using original GTA IV, no EFLC. Thank you! The two images attached show that everything is linked. The lights are all linked to their respective lights on the Wheelen, and the white LEDs are all linked to the Wheelen itself. I was going to attach the model but it says I can't attach it here, sorry! I really don't understand what I'm doing wrong! Thanks! Chris
  10. Hey everyone! So this is my third time writing this. The first two times I tried to attach images and it crashed the forum... So I'm going to attach them as files. ANYWAYS... So, I made my first model, an Explorer. It's not the best, but it's my first! I made my own custom lightbar, mirror lights, and side lights. I also used a Wheelen Lightbar. My issue is that the White LED texture (LCPDFR Support 2.png) doesn't show up in game. It's either the lights are on or there's nothing there (LCPDFR Support.png). I mean, that's cool for unmarked cars and stuff I guess, but I want semi-realistic... This happens for all of the custom lights (they're all attached to the Wheelen- the white LED textures are attached to the Wheelen Lightbar texture). So I was wondering if anyone knew why this would be happening and any possible fixes! As a side, the mirror and side lights don't work in game at all- the white LED texture or the blue ELS one. I was just wondering why they show up in zmodeler and openiv but not in game. Once again, these are attached to the Wheelen. Any help here would be nice too! Just a reminder- this is my first model! So constructive criticism would be helpful as well or any tips for starters! I didn't do a CVPI because there's like 2,000 of those around- I wanted something different! Thanks! Fiskey111
