Super bowl 2015
I'm a Pats fan and I was accepting defeat at the 3 yard line before that interception. I didn't even notice it was intercepted until the commentators said it, I assumed they caught it and it was at the 1 yard line. The unsportsmanlike conduct (on both sides) was uncalled for at the end. Otherwise, it was good!

How do you play?
I personally have just found out how amazing it is playing with HUD and radar off. It's so much more fun than with it on. That combined with hardcore mode makes the game 100x more intense! Having to use the pursuit updates to know where they're going and on what street makes it more difficult too! How do you play LCPDFR?

Ford Taurus Slicktop w/ ALPR (ELS V8)
- 487 downloads
- Version 1.1
Hello again LCPDFR! Today I bring you my next model I have made- a Ford Taurus slicktop! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ *A [fictitious] conversation with a potential downloader* "Why is this model special?" Well I'm glad you're curious! Not only is this a slicktop with lights covering 360 degrees of the car but it also has ALPR! "Congratulations your other cars have that too, Fiskey111..." That's true, good point. However, this car has ALPR that only spawns on some cars (aka an extra_10)! "Why would you do that?" Because some people probably will want this to be undercover/blacked out and don't want ALPR! Now it's basically two cars in one slot! "That's cool! What else do you have on it?" Well, it has lights on all sides so you can always see a blinking light! And, it's got a TA on the back! "I LOVE FLASHING LIGHTS!!" And for the grand finale: THERE'S A DOUGHNUT ON THE DASH IN FRONT OF THE STEERING WHEEL "NO WAY! I'm going to download it now then! Yes! Thank you so much Fiskey111!" _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This model is quasi-based off of the PD of the city I go to school in. It's got a lot of lights, but I like it that way! I've also included a skin that I made! It's not good, but its better than all black or the template!! Let me know about any bugs, errors, or suggestions! Known bugs: -Handling line included may not be perfect... Maybe? (Not sure, need more feedback) -The inner edge is low in the window, I know. (There's a center box on the roof that I didn't want to get rid of and if i put the lightbar higher the box would stick through and the mirror would float) Fiskey111- 14 comments

Bulletin from Deputy Police Commissioner
1 FEBRUARY 2015 For immediate release to public of Liberty City: Statistics show that the LCPD is doing an amazing job supporting the city! According to a new study, the economy is soaring from coffee and doughnut sales across the city. Of course, this is only possible through your tax dollars! Another study just released shows a trend that while police officers are using more deadly force, the number of shots fired are down! We found out that saving ammunition and using our cars to kill suspects gives us more money to contribute to the growing doughnut business! Therefore, I am pleased to announce the newest addition to our already semi-modern fleet: 2011 Ford Taurus vehicles equipped with modern suspect-catching technology! Why use actual police cruisers when you can save money and just use regular civilian cars! Containing: -No lightbar because that's money which can be used for doughnuts -360 degree light coverage for effective visibility when parked in front of the doughnut shop -Traffic advisor for easy traffic details while in the drive-thru -Running radar system to allow for more ticket revenue for more doughnuts -Pushbar in order to not damage the car as much when running over fellow officers -Modern laptop with connectivity to the online doughnut ordering system -In-car printer to print your receipt for doughnuts -A state-of-the-art ALPR system (present on 1/2 of new vehicles) to identify vehicles that have wanted individuals that don't like doughnuts -A modern sprinkled doughnut is included with each vehicle -New, modern rims that make the tires look more like a doughnut, er, I mean more professional! With all this technology, you might be thinking "we don't need any more cops!" but you're wrong. Without us the whole economy will collapse. So, next time we pull you over do us a favor- pay the fine and do the time. Francis McReary Deputy Police Commissioner Liberty City Police Department Any comments/suggestions? http://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_02_2015/post-151108-0-98702000-1422811016.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_02_2015/post-151108-0-92100200-1422811018.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_02_2015/post-151108-0-36389000-1422811020.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_02_2015/post-151108-0-79345600-1422811021.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_02_2015/post-151108-0-41391700-1422811023.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_02_2015/post-151108-0-78293600-1422811024.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_02_2015/post-151108-0-23624100-1422820652.jpg

LCCOP Taurus Texture Issue
I checked that and reloaded all my textures into openIV, and this is what I end up with (see attached). For some reason the tire is purple. I'm pretty sure that's all thats messed with it but I can't tell cause it crashes my game when I load it.

LCCOP Taurus Texture Issue
Hello all! So, I've decided to try to make a taurus for my own personal use. I found a taurus by LCCOP and I used it and put everything in it I wanted. In Zmodeler, the taurus looks perfect, but when I export it and open it in OpenIV certain textures are wrong (yes, I put in all the right textures in OpenIV). I've attached a picture of zmodeler and the log showing all the texture errors. I know that I needed to merge the taurus in with another file with the generic textures and the taurus's textures, and I did that, but it still caused this to happen. I just don't get why it shows up fine in zmodeler then changes once I export it. Any ideas? Thanks! Fiskey taurus_log_help.txt

only one light bar comes on ELS v8 help
You need to attach the various lights to each other (so like attach extra_1_L0 of lightbar 2 to extra1_1_L0 of lightbar 1. Then do that for every one until you only have 1 of each extra (1 extra_1_L0, 1 extra extra_1_L1, etc)

relationships?
I've been with my girlfriend for about 3 years now. Originally, when I got LCPDFR a little over 1 1/2 years ago she thought I was so weird, but now she's used to it and sometimes plays it! It's really funny watching people that don't play video games try to play them!

Shout out to modelers!
So I recently released my first two modeled vehicles, they aren't good by LCPDFR standards but they were good enough for me. But after going through that experience I really began to appreciate what these modelers actually do to give us the thousands of different vehicles we have today. It took me a few days to model the cars, and I mean it was a pain. Between bugs and misalignment and forgetting L1s and all that stuff, I was getting annoyed and wanted to give up. I was thinking about these people that actually do this a lot and make these cars and their parts from scratch for other people, not themselves. I could never imagine doing that, or the amount of time you have been willing to dedicate to giving others your stuff. Therefore, I wanted to thank all of you out there that model, make textures, make mods, and anything else that requires time and effort for something that you don't get paid for! Thank you to you all, without you this wouldn't be as fun as it is now (or even be here)! Maybe we can get everyone to say thank you, so these people know that we do appreciate your hard work and time that you put into these mods! Thanks!

We used to have 1, but the police department gave it to the fire department when the chief's car broke. Haha, if you do it for free then I'm sure my town would be willing to accept!!! Yeah, I'm happy my town is banding together. The cops are really nice here, mostly because everyone knew them before they were cops!

That's sick. We want explorers because we're a rural town, but I love the new tauruses. Even the MSP has CVPIs still... Oh my goodness. Hahaha, I think our total calls were ~4,000. That's a massive difference.

On a side note, I looked at the town report and this was the breakdown for what my police did in 2013: 265 Incidents; 269 arrests; 22 restraining orders; 290 citations; 57 accidents; 9 parking tickets; 29 by-law violations; 275 firearm permits (we're like the 6th or something town in the state for firearm licenses). Ah, that makes sense then! Oh my goodness... Wow... We have 5 full-time officers and 8 part-time. And every one of those officers works in the neighboring towns on their off-days.... I would have thought so too, you know. I was a little disappointed. My original post may have been deceptive, the FB page is a "closed group" for members of our town, but using that we've raised money. The way people donate is by writing a check and dropping it off at the police station.

did you know this secret
This has changed how I am going to play LCPDFR forever. Thank you.

That sounds right to me! Haha, they really do look all the same, that's why I have no clue! Yeah... The biggest crime we have here are smokers at our town common (park). With your crime, I would hope that they'd find the money to get it, especially with 80,000 people! How many cruisers does your dept have, 20? I don't think my department would do that. I believe that year is our newest one. We have one from like 2004 or something and the other is like 2005 (I remember they said each was a different year). Thank you! What?! That's nice... How many people live in your town/city? Haha, want to donate a Tahoe to my town??

Local PD CVPI
So, I live here in Massachusetts in a small town of about 4,000 people with no traffic lights or even blinking lights. It's a beautiful little town, the people are nice and so are the officers. We recently built a brand new police station (my picture) and it's gorgeous. At the end of this topic you might be thinking, why did they build a police station.... but the reason is because the police used to be in an old bar below an apartment with no jail cells, so they actually had to handcuff the criminals to the bar (I'm not kidding). Like every town, we have basically no money. However, our police cruisers are old. I dont know the years (I don't know how to tell by the bodies), but here are some pictures. http://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_01_2015/post-151108-0-88189300-1421552536.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_01_2015/post-151108-0-09780100-1421552538.jpg Two years ago the town paid $10,000 each cruiser to completely redo them so we wouldn't have any issues. However, we only have 3 cruisers so they get a lot of abuse. Well, this year the cruisers actually started breaking down on the way to calls, and our police actually started missing calls because of this. So, the town came up with a plan to raise $40,000 in order to get 2 brand new FPIU (some sort of deal they got, probably cause they feel bad for us). Because we're a town the people had to vote on this in order for it to go through (as far as I know it's a New England thing, I've heard that everywhere else isn't like us). But, it went for a vote and ended up being 60%-40% no. Why? Who knows. So, the townspeople (one's who voted yes) actuallly banded together to raise the $40k on our own. We have a town FB page, and we actually have raised about $5k, with the local bank contributing another $5k (I wonder why, haha- I bet they want the police there if they get robbed....). But I figured I'd share this story so we can A) Realize that for some reason people don't like their taxes getting raised a little bit for one year and B) People are able to band together to make things work, even though the majority don't like it. Let me know what you think! I'm interested in your opinions on this matter! What would your town have done, do you think your town would have voted yes? (And can anyone tell me by the pics what year my towns cruisers are?) Thanks!
