  1. For me, I'm not sure if I'm going to use ELS V too. the big turning point for me depends on whether it uses the default siren objects or extras, like in GTA 4. If it uses sirens, I would definitely look into it more and see what it's like, but if it uses the outdated extras system I'm probably not going to bother
  2. please read the notes in the readme or the information above before asking for help
  3. I wouldn't bother waiting for ELS man. With the ability to mod carcols, and the new RPH that is meant to allow coders to make a script that changes flash patterns in-game, it's just as good an option. Not to mention the fact that the ELS developers have been saying "not long now" for the past 14 months
  4. Yes. SnrCstJacob and I both have our own fleet of VFII models
  5. you are missing the .ytd file of that model. You can even see in the bottom right corner of openIV in that screenshot it is not reading the .ytd associated with that model
  6. I feel like someone should really turn that into a short film. Pity we don't have any ELS cars to film with
  7. is that using my method or is there another one
  8. I can change it per setting but if you can only use one sirensetting per vehicle at a time
  9. To keep it as simple as possible, basically there is a code in the sirensettings that controls how fast the lights flash and how fast they rotate. The default number is somewhere around 100ish. When I made Aussie Flash Patterns, I bumped the number up to 920, which gives them a really nice LED flash. The only problem is that if I want to have fast LED's the rotators are so fast you cant even see anything, and if I want slow rotators the LED's look slow and horrible. Still trying to figure out how to have both
  10. Ok here's a theory I thought of 10 minutes ago, I won't be able to test it for a while but if anyone else wanted to please try it. What if you had one (or both) lightbars, with the same sirens, on a model set up as carmods, then you only had one lightbar on the model at a time. Would that mean that since the game is only reading one set of sirens at a time, you could be able to have dual lightbars with the same sirens?
  11. Why thank you, I just wish I could get fucking rotators to work as well
  12. If you're talking about my vf evoke that has a beacon, it can be removed there's heaps already
  13. if you installed both the car and the mod properly they will automatically work
  14. you needa add the new carvariations but thats all

  17. I don't think so, but im not certain
  18. I use sirenmastery, but if you don't use that the simple option is to just replace all the game sirens to the same one
  19. @Cowz4Sale ragehook. Your problem is ragehook 0.47 @CouthInk4 ive been tempted to get a vz commodore, but it'll cost heaps and I've got other stuff I'd rather buy. But BA XR8 dev model is coming out Sunday. Unless @snit changed his mind, still all good for me to release mate?
  20. NSW people are just big bullies as for the GTA lore textures, personally I don't think that would work very well with Australian cars. American cars work great because there are so many different police departments that lspd looks normal, but Australia has only a handful of different liveries, I just don't think it would work as well
