  1. Welcome to the divvy van project. My plan B for making a Holden VF divvy van that so many of us love. Hopefully this will be successful because plan C is crowdfunding... The aim of this is simple, I am giving you a chance to create your best recreation of the divvy pod. Anyone is welcome to give it a go and submit their attempts. Requirements: To create a detailed exterior & interior divvy pod You are not required to make any liveries, light equipment or gear You are not required to convert your model into Grand Theft Auto V, that would be my job Terms & Conditions: You cannot use stolen or ripped parts off any model Anything you submit I may modify as I see fit (If you make something and you're not totally happy with it, send it anyway and I might be able to fix it up) Notes: I may not use anything that you submit I have a high standard You will not get an unlocked copy of the model at any stage, only what you submit I require the model to be in a .obj format You probably want to privately send me your attempt, to save anyone else stealing your work Benefits to you, if your model is used: You will be appropriately credited You can be given updates on where the model is in the development process You will be able to beta test/receive and early release of the model You get to practice and build on your 3d modelling skills Things you will need: The 3d model of the back end of the ute http://www.mediafire.com/file/eig7atboogcezqi/The+Divvy+Van+Project.rar This is so you can accurately build it straight onto the ute, which creates a more accurate result and saves time Reference images of the divvy van http://ozemergencyservices.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=63 Happy Modelling! -Macgregor
  2. Closer to 600. if I've got so many people keen to give it a go I might organise something for you all in a few days. Basically I will upload the back end of the evoke ute (not the whole thing, I don't need anyone pissing off with a few hundred dollars worth of polygons), and from that you can all model off it so the pod is the right fit. keep in mind my standards are very high, so just because you make it doesn't mean it will get used.
  3. You wouldn't need to do any of the texturing and converting, just the modelling, so you wouldn't need zmod
  4. well the quote is $300 USD (which even I think is bs), I'm trying to get it down to $150 already have the ute, wanna make the pod?
  5. sound's like lspdfr isn't loading. try reinstalling it
  6. -money and here comes the silence that always follows that word
  7. I believe from your game directory if you go to: LSPDFR > Police Scanner you will find heaps of audio files, I'm assuming that's what LSPDFR pulls from. Just go through and replace the various audio clips that you want, but make sure they're the same file format
  8. Smh all these non-eup modders. seriously looks good though
  9. yes very good idea. do not buy anything until you know you're able to convert it, otherwise it's just a waste of money
  10. https://hum3d.com/ is the best website then you need to poly crunch (done in your choice of modelling software), texture and convert (done in zmodeler)
  11. as far as im aware, yes it can be used. But basically as long as it can export to a zmodeler readable file (.obj is the best choice imo) then you're fine
  12. they are there's no question because holden can't afford to keep making them
  13. probably not until they actually take over the real commodores next year
  14. the fading checkers actually wrap around the back too if i remember correctly
  15. They're not supposed to blow through an intersection as fast as they can go, they went slowly for safety
  16. oh yeah of course it looks better than a nsw iload, all victorian things are better
