Who remembers this date?
I guess I chose the wrong words, I'd call it an execution failure. They took the beaches, yeah, but they could have saved a lot of lives if they landed in the right hour and airborne had fallen in the right place. I heard that the bombers also failed too many of their targets. The operation could have easily gone wrong. That's indeed one of the most awesome pictures ever. I personally love the one of the Soviets in the Reichstag, so impressive picture.

Who remembers this date?
Sure. The 06/06/1944 a chinese guy slipped off and crashed his rickshaw against a fruit selling stand, somewhere in the China occupied by the Japaneses. The Rickshaw driver, a guy called Huan, suffered minor injuries while two civilians were sent to the hospital. Now, regarding what the OP means. Despite the fact that allies won, it was a complete failure of operation. The land troops disembarked at the wrong time when the tide was low. And the airborne troops jumped far from their actual objectives. RIP to those all heroes who died in order to end with the Nazi and fascist tyranny. People should remember it to avoid it to happen again. To the post above me, not just for America, but for the entire world. And don't forget that not just the Americans fought.

The City that Never Sleeps
I remember that someone posted the apparently authentic blue color in the 1989 LTD wip thread, but in my opinion it doesn’t look good ingame. I’ve been trying with a darker tone which is not as dark as the one Compeast uses in his cars - that also looks quite good imho -. Tomorrow I PM and show you a screen of it ingame :)

NCIS at crime scene
From the album: Strike's
A local woman found, about the 9:05 of the morning, the death body of the Naval Intelligence official H.G. Norton. The local sheriff responded and called the NCIS about half an hour later. A military police unit was also sent to the crime scene. The corpse had various gunshots in the back and nape, execution style. Though the scene was thoroughly cleaned up by the killers, a Makarov pistol shell was found. His car, a brand new 1988 Chrysler New Yorker, had blood all over the fron passenger seat. Possibly, after being shot inside the vehicle, Norton tried to flee and was executed. Anyhow, there are evidences that the car was already stopped when Norton was shot first. In addition, his revolver was found unloaded in the glove compartment; "why someone who is in charge of some top secret documents would not have his weapon handly and ready to use?" Note: There has been reported lost a set of secret documents about a ****** soviet **************** which can threat the naval defense of the United States. Very important to recover these documents. Note: betrayal? possible foreign agents operating in american territory. -
