  1. Of course they have explanation, they are weather balloons! Just kidding:P anyway, it's true there have been thousands of sightings and reports of UFOs, but apparently, they began in 1947 and therefore the first investigation projects of the US Government (I read a while back a 1970s UFO book I found in my grandmothers house, so excuse if I'm wrong but I don't remember every detail). Think about the fact that, after the WWII there had been a lot of technologic developments, like the reaction engines that soon lead to the construction of the first spy aircrafts. Crashes like the Roswell one are more likely to be from spy plane and prototype than alien spacecrafts. Even they painted the airplanes so they seemed UFOs in order to confuse the population (they initially did that with the U2 spy planes, later was changed to black, I believe because they were more easier to detect in the other way). Think about it, what is better the public to think, that you have an alien spacecraft or a secret furtive bomber with the latest technologies? Today I just saw this: easy to think is something from another planet, uh? It's actually a new drone, the xb47. Same could go to planes like the Blackbird (1960s) or B2 and F117, both developed in the late 1970s/ early 1980s. Though, by other hand, I have to agree that there are other cases that I can't explain, like that one in Phoenix 1997.
  2. Sounds pretty good. It would be actually amazing to use play any character's speech by the megaphone, not just for the ones who have a default megaphone speech; imagine Niko screaming his "aargh motherfuckers" line through the megaphone.
  3. Well, personally I don't believe in the extraterrestrial spaceships (even if the space is incredibly huge and are millions of planets...), but is curious how nobody knows the actual explanation for that phenomenon. I'd say that some kind of underground explosion could be feasible.
  4. Well, although this is not anything new (it was discovered in 1949), it's pretty cool and I think you should check it out Like I've said, this strange stone formation composed of calcareous blocks, known as the Patomskiy crater, was discovered back in the late 1940s, in the Irkutsk region, southeastern Siberia. However, it drew the attention of the scientists apparently just a few years ago and an expedition of geologist, geochemical and astronomers was sent to the area to examine the crater. Many hypothesis had been made about its origin or nature; from volcanic origin to a most plausible fallen meteor or fragment of it (Tunguska meteorite hit the ground at 700 km of distance from the crater) However, the area is not volcanic and there haven't been found rock fragments came from the space. Besides, it's believed that this crater has about 250 years, while the Tunguska meteorite fell in 1908. Other hypothesis speak about a subterranean gas or even 'uranium ore' explosion (is the uranium explosive?...), but there hasn't been found radiation. In addition, seems that about at 100 to 150 meters under the cone there's located something strange with elevated levels of ferromagnetical materials and a high amount of water. As it was expected, some people are already claiming it be an UFO... I've been looking for info in various sites and one thing is certain, scientifics haven't find out yet what that thing is yet. What do you think it could be?

  7. Well, I made a texture for Solo's Diplomat but it looks pretty bad. Maybe a modeler such as Bigfoot aka Carface, now that he's back could make one, in a very hypothetical assumption, since he has recently done the 1987 LTD and Caprice & Impala (both with an awesome quality). A modeler in GPM wanted to edit and improve Solo's Diplomat - in fact, he got the model - but seems the project didn't go ahead. Meh, it's quite frustrating seeing so many awesome paint jobs and model variations for the M-Body and to can't do anything about that :/
  8. They should create an official appreciation topic to stop with these threads imho...
  9. I'm using an European keyboard too, it's Alt GR + Right Control + E. It doesn't interfere with any other key, if that's what you mean.
  10. And that's why today the Bible shouldn't have any presence and impact in the matters that affect to the society, like is the case of what this thread is about, the gay marriage.
  11. Isn't it easier and faster just to enable and disable the trainer than messing with the keys? Btw, can this tutorial be moved to the tutorials section, please? Thank you in advance.

  13. Umm, actually I've never heard GOD saying anything. Maybe am I deaf? I don't think so, it has to be another thing...
  14. I think we all have been annoyed at some point when trying to spawn a bodyguard with SNT with certain weapon and it spawning instead with the Mp5: As you can see, most of the bodyguards have the mp5, even when I selected other weapons them to have. Well, here is an explanation that will show you how to basically spawn the bodyguards correctly, with the weapon you choose avoiding it to change automatically and, in case of playing as an officer, to act in a more realistic way avoiding the drive by shootings. Before starting, here (in the spoiler) are some of the options there are in the Bodyguard/Ped Spawn menu of SNT. In red are marked the ones that we will use in this tutorial. In green, the optional ones. Let's start! open SNT (F3) and select (num 5) the Bodyguard/Ped Spawn menu: 1. Select the ped you want as bodyguard. The task you want them to do (combat) and optional things such as the clothes, health or god mode, etc. 2. Choose which weapon you want your bodyguard to use. Although the M4 comes as default, the peds usually spawn involuntary with the mp5k. Continue reading in order to solve this problem. 3. Disable "Bodyguard Driveby Weapon". For now on, the peds will spawn with the weapon you've chosen and won't change automatically to the mp5. Note: unselecting this the bodyguards won't shoot from the car. Be advised in the case you want to play a wilder and madder type of gameplay where the bodyguards shoot from your car... 4. Press Spawn Bodyguard to finish. - If you enable the option "Bodyguard Driveby Weapon" again, the next peds you spawn, unlike the ones already spawned will shoot from cars, but will also change their weapons to the mp5 automaticaly. Now, after following these simple steps, each bodyguard has a different custom selected weapon that doesn't automatically change to the MP5. Kick it, Niko! Useful links and tips * Here you can download SNT: http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/simple-trainer-version-65-f2115 * Here there's a tutorial of how to install it (by IzyBoy92) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiXHr82UElo * Note2: in the case you’re running LCPD:FR, it's recommended to turn off SNT so they don't interfere. For that, select "Disable Trainer" in the second page of the Options menu. In order to enable it again, press R.ctrl+R.alt+E. * If you think that something is wrong and needs to be changed, feel free to tell me.
  15. Well, fortunately, thanks to people like Compeast, UndercoverChicken or Bigfoot/Carface there has started appearing a bigger variety of the cars I like (do I have to say these are classics? lol), though I wish more people worked and were interested in these older vehicles to have an even bigger selection of classic vehicles (from trucks to 2dr interceptors, and different years).

  18. Nope, check it out this. During the early 1980s there were some Impalas with the yellow paintjob:
  19. This. There's nothing that pisses me off more than when the religion tries to impose their rules in the society. Apart from the fact that religion and State should be separated -and even more in a democratic country-, not all the people is religious or follow the same religions. And recently, with the church and diverse religions sticking the nose where it doesn't belong (abortion, use of preservatives, if I don't have to hear music because is something the infidels do...), I'm started to feel a big repulse against them (note: not against the people who has these beliefs or their beliefs. While they don't intrude on my life). But that's another matter.
