You need to put your changes in a mod folder with openIV Or it will keep trying to fix your files every time you launch. Check out the OpenIV website for instructions.

Go to the police department tomorrow and tell them about it. Or you could call the non emergency phone number for the police.

Now I remember. Yeah It was a bad save. I restarted a new game and played a little way in to get a new save. Or there is a 100% save game available that I found and I use that now. I think it was on gta5-mods.com i believe.

My game used to do this, not sure what fixed it. If it was taking quite awhile I would alt-tab out. At the bottom of your screen you should have two gta5 icons running. One is the loader and one is the game. I would click on the one of them and the game would come back up and load up normally. Might have just been the alt-tabbing out that worked.

try removing scripthookV from the game folder and see if gtaV will run. I bet thats the only thing stopping your game. Your ragehook and lspdfr are probably fine.

Thats a scripthookV error. Need to update that file.

I couldn't have said it better myself. This is so much better than I was expecting. They did a terrific job already. and it's only been a short time. Works great and you can easily play for hours.

Firefox changed something on downloads this week it seems...I tried everything I could think of to fix it but couldn't. It still is doing it. Finally figured out a temp solution... Right click or left click on the red x and you can manually unblock the file and download.

I had to stop using the scripthook mods for now. Running just ragehook mods and lspdfr . And I had to start GTA first and then alt tab out and run the ragehook.

Yeah that is what I am seeing. I used to be able to play for 4 or 5 days offline. Now it is checking every few game loads for me.

You can leave your mods and plugins there in your folder. Only Open IV files need to be changed with Verrys fix so GTA doesn't try to keep overwriting them on startup..

It is strange how just restarting the game can improve fps sometimes. I spent a couple hours testing different settings to get a decent look and the car drives reasonably well. But some times the game doesn't start out well and I have to reload. Tinkering is about all you can do because every computer is so different. Start with everything low and slowly add things in and try your other options. You can definitely tell when the graphics card starts getting hot. The small text goes all fuzzy on my computer after about an hour. But restarting can sometimes improve it drastically and last for a couple hours. Memory fills up I suppose. I lowered my resolution to 1280/720 , lowered draw distance and vehicle density and turned down to normal a lot of the options. Better fps and made it much easier to drive.

Lspdfr, open all interiors, policeradio, speedradar player location, back on the beat and sometimes a trainer.

Either way. The way it is now is fine with me.

I have noticed this once or twice. All of a sudden my two backups requested become about 5 backups. It was in a very long chase all around the map. Seems like the cars parked on the shoulders ignore you but if you pass cop cars that are actually driving around they join in. Or I called more backup and didn't even remember ;)

I will see what I can do. I am thinking of splitting the city up into 4 zones so you don't have to drive all the way across town.

How about prowler in progress, burglary in progress, fist fight in progress and man down on the ground. Although I guess we cant do much with peds at this time? Just some ideas. Looking forward to your mod.

For those who haven't discovered it you can put your suspect into a backup officers car. Just walk over to the rear door and press F to open it. Move over to the driver door to order them inside. Push the door closed once the perp gets inside. If you keep the vehicle in sight so it doesn't despawn, the backup officers will eventually come back and drive off. Works most of the time, just don't accidentally get in the car or you will take it over and the the officers will just wander off.

You would be surprised how often a matching vehicle is in the area. :) It's basically an area check for what ever you think you see. I just mess with any peds in sight and call backup(when using lspdfr) in most of the time and then drive around searching for the vehicle. Can usually find one and I like the hunt.

I put together a simple website that delivers a random callout for roleplay policing. Everyone is welcome to use it. Gives you some things to do when you get bored and tired of driving around. I just view the page on my smartphone while playing. Works pretty well. Still adding calls and editing my mistakes. Includes Paleto Bay Calls as well. Random crimes, locations, suspects to look for and vehicle descriptions.
