You should definitely learn how to map els. Look around in the tutorial section, if you can't find a good one there, I'll pm you the tutorial I used.

As Tozza and Crawford have said it's different for everybody. The key, for me at least, is to disable some things on most of the scripts. Like disable ambient situations on lcpdfr and turn off traffic violations on police helper. I run gta 4 a lot better if I limit the amount of stuff running at the same time.

Arma 3 is the most realistic, I have it and I'm too intimidated to play online lol. There's also Insurgency, and I guess Heroes and Generals if you like WWII games. H&G is free btw

I just wanted to make a topic about tv shows that you guys believed were cancelled too early, an should come back. I know there's already been a bunch of threads about tv shows, but this one can be police related or not. It's been a year and a half, and I'm still kinda pissed about Southland being cancelled. The show was in the middle of huge climax and it would have been great if it had a season or two more to wrap up.

I thought when I'm in zmodeler I use use the textures as .png and then they convert to .dds when I import them in openiv.

Ok,now whenever I import anything this is happening. I've tried bxbugs's cvpi, tahoe, durango, I've tried different lightbars. Everything is doing this. Edit: I'm so stupid, I kept importing and exporting with the textures as tga's not pngs

Yea that didnt work, the whole car is white except for some of the black textures

I've been having this problem for the last hour or so. When I open a save file, all the textures but a few are gone. Then I go into the materials editor and they come back if I manually put them in. But then when I open the car again, the textures are gone and most of the car is white. Is there a way to fix this without starting over again?

Who's cvpi are you using? I don't have the black trim on cj24's, but I do have it on napoleon/deco/tim98's.
