You could try running the LCPDFR on compatibility but I don't think that is the case. Have you already tried to install LCPDFR? When you get to the screen where it asks for your LCPDFR account, just skip it. Currently, the LCPDFR team is working on getting Crime Statistics back up and the feature is unavailable at the moment.

Do you have the latest patch of GTA IV installed?

It'd probably be best to disable your keys via the ini file completely. I never use the key bindings.

I've heard of the game but never got a chance to play. Maybe I will when the 5 comes out.

Yeah, that could be another case as well. I haven't been too involved on the back end of GTA IV so I wouldn't know too much about it.

Have you tried right clicking the LaunchGTAIV.exe file and running it with compatibility mode? Which operating system are you currently running?

I'm not too much of an expert on this but I think I can give a bit of insight to it. First of all, making your player's client side ELS lights to look exactly on your side would be a huge waste of memory. I don't think we're going to be able to even play a minute of GTA IV with that happening. I also believe it has something to do with your network. The time between the transmission of the person's router to the server and then to your router to your game is slow. The process isn't instant. Hope that helped.

This is an obvious, but as technology is enhanced, maybe that will be the case. I would think as well that maybe soon we'll have backup actually park behind your car and do something productive.
