ELS Question

Featured Replies

Not sure if this is the right place to put this but here we go. I've noticed but have tried not to pay much attention to the fact that other players in my multiplayer game's ELS on their cars are REALLY slow for me. I've noticed the same thing on YouTube videos too. Is there a fix or an explanation behind why the lights are so slow on other players cars.

I'm not too much of an expert on this but I think I can give a bit of insight to it. First of all, making your player's client side ELS lights to look exactly on your side would be a huge waste of memory. I don't think we're going to be able to even play a minute of GTA IV with that happening. I also believe it has something to do with your network. The time between the transmission of the person's router to the server and then to your router to your game is slow. The process isn't instant.

Hope that helped.
